Joaquin Phoenix, puffing away on a cancer stick, grows a pair of wings and catches a flight out of LAX airport on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The smoking (figuratively and literally) actor was seen hugging, presumably, family.
Joaquin toted around a hot-as-Hades metallic duffel bag by Diane Von Fursternberg.
Mr. Phoenix is on his way to do more press for his upcoming film Reservation Road costarring Jennifer Connelly, Mark Ruffalo, Mira Sorvino and Elle Fanning. The drama thriller will be released nationwide on October 19.

I don’t believe her for a second. This person first said she walked past them and realized it was him. And in that slip second she saw him and her giggling and biting a cookie? Okay! How about it being 9 AT NIGHT!! It is dark out at night…yet the KNEW for a fact from seeing him for a second at night, that it wasn’t the same girl? The Cake Shop gets all their food from Balthazar’s. They don’t cook anything there. I don’t really give a **** about the whole sighting story, but the people who said it wasn’t a vegan bakery were right because it isn’t a bakery. They get everything from elsewhere. It pisses me off when a place is plugged for being vegan and it isn’t, because cooking everything vegan is difficult–it actually takes alot of skill and money to be able to replace non-vegan ingrediants with vegan ingrediants, which is why many places like The Cake Shop get their vegan yummies elsewhere. If it was a full-blown vegan cafe it wouldn’t have non-vegan food, which it does.
A, thank you so much for voicing your opinion–that was pissing me off too. Like you, I’m done with the sighting story but The Cake Shop getting plugged for being vegan got under my skin. I don’t think anyone feels this way or cares. Thanks for bringing it up, though.

If you go on wireimage.com you will see that he gets pushed in a river or something…but it is his stunt double :( He looks especially hot in the ones when he is dry (I think it is the first few pics on dj.com)…looks like he cut his hair too!! but yes…he looks really good! I don’t feel bad for her at all. First, the fans don’t “hate” her we don’t KNOW her. We have just stated our opinions on how she looks. HOWEVER we have heard many many things about he from people who do know her and have given us proof of that. 397 I am thinking he usually only dates casually. Topaz is the only girl he’s dated long-term and “officially” since Liv Tyler and that’s in a period of ten years. It would seem like women don’t mean much to him in the scheme of things. It appears he dates someone for a month or two then drifts away to fresher pastures or leaves them to go back to work.
