Maddox Receives a Helping Hand
Two, in fact!
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt swing son Maddox, 6, out at the Lycée Français de New York school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon. The trio dressed in all matching white tops. Cute family!
Maddox’s smile was a mile wide as Brad & Angie swung him through the crowds of onlookers.

Okay stop ragging on Brad. The TRUTH of the matter is, until a year or two ago, you people didn’t even know where Chad and Darfur were on the map let alone what was or is going there now. Most people still can’t tell you where Chad and Darfur are located. So stop with your stupid comments about Brad.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The 50 lifelike wax figures at the newest Madame Tussauds museum will finally have some company when hundreds of guests attend the opening gala tonight.
Mayor Adrian Fenty, members of Congress and the D.C. Council are expected to attend the grand opening of the museum on 10th and F Streets northwest.
Former Mayor Marion Barry will unveil his wax statue and pose with it at 5:30 on the red carpet in front of the museum. The gala will follow.
The museum — which features figures of Madonna, Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson and Angelina Jolie as well as famous sports and political figures — opens to the public tomorrow.
Tomorrow and Saturday, visitors can see the full museum for an introductory price of $10. After that, admission is $25.

Everything you said re: the sad fading away of some of the most wonderful actresses, I agree with utterly. There is a great movie about this: ‘Searching for Debra Winger’ Thank G*d, wonderful actresses like Jodie Foster can bring in a #1 movie on her own—that helps the cause enormously.
Also I appreciate the good faith in which you took my remarks—I was actually just using a soundbite of yours to (once again) try to inspire fans to keep their chins up :-) re: JA continued presence and to stay positive.
It may feel good temporarily to slag JA but ultimately it just perpetuates the drama (the so-called Triangle).
Methinks there is WAY more power in ignoring Brad’s X.
I firmly believe that a cheap, easy way for the tabs to get fodder for their headlines is to read the blogs. Why wouldn’t they?
The less we give them the better.
Anyway, its just wishful thinking on my part. It requires patience and discipline and focus on the goal: to stop keeping JA an A-list celebrity (note: I said celebrity not actress) by shrugging her off.
As long as we keep filling threads about her with emotional responses—the tabs effortlessly have their headlines.

I personally do not think that the humanitarian work that Brad and Angie participate in are a laughing matter. The person writing jokes about Darfur better know that people are dying their massively everyday. Crack your jokes, but please stop being insensitive.

Useless list month continues at Forbes.
This week, it’s top selling faces, not in terms of plastic surgery requests, but by magazine sales. According to Forbes, Jennifer Aniston has the best selling mug.
But in the past year, Jennifer Aniston has not found love, lost love, become addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, overcome addiction to drug and/or alcohol, gained weight, lost weight, given birth to a child or adopted a child.
It’s a mystery to us that she even gets on the cover of tabloids, let alone sells them. But the list is kind of funny: Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, who’ve done nearly all of those things, didn’t even make it.
So how did Forbes come up with this list of top selling faces?
Forbes.com calculated the tabloid appeal of a celebrity by comparing how many issues a cover sold with the magazine’s average newsstand sales. The Web site then factored in the number of full covers a celeb graced, and ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.
All of which sounds like a lot of work for a list that has no real value. It’s moments like this that we’re glad we’re no longer interns.
