Brad Pitt - GQ Italy October 2007

HOT!

Brad Pitt takes the cover of GQ Italy October 2007. His cover boy mug has a drawing of a gun (revolver) drawn beneath his right eye.

I would link you to the GQ Italy site but there are nudie pix. Cover your eyes!

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford opens in theaters across Italy on November 9th.

Thanks, moussemaker

472, don’t make presumption about things you do not know. I hope your mother/father/brothers/sisters/husband or worse your child/children do not come down with the dreatful cancer and suffer for 6 or 7 years, like Ange’s mother has been. I know first hand what is like to have cancer and be sick for a long time. The LAST THING YOU WANT is your love ones to stop living their lives because of your sickness. You DO NOT WANT THEM SUFFER because of you. YOU WANT THEM TO go on with their lives.

Suffering from cancer for 6 to 7 years is terrible thing. In the beginning, you think you can over come it. Why not you heard many others have in the past. Why not you. So, you want your love ones to be near you to help you through beating the sickness. Then, over time, the reality sets in. You know you are going to be taken by the disease.

You look at your children and then pray. You hope and wish your children can manage without you. It doesn’t matter how old your children are. You worry for them. When the time comes, can they handle/manage my death? Who will help them with their children? All sorts of thoughts goes through your mind — believe me you have a lot of time to think of these things.

Then you don’t think about your disease. All you want to do is help your loved ones be prepard for everything, including your death. SO, YOU ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILDREN TO GO ON WITH THEIR LIVES, AND THEY LIVING THEIR EVERY DAY LIVES, AS IF YOU HAD NOT GOTTEN SICK, GIVES YOU MEANING/PURPOSE TO YOUR LIFE AND YOUR SUFFERING. So, you tell them and plead with them to go on with their lives, for seeing them live their lives as normal as possible is the most pleasing thing to you.

Life is not what it apears to be; it’s much more complicated. It’s NOT okay to make such judgment about someone who has lost her mother to sickness. You never overcome the loss of your mother, you just learn to live your life without her. And deep inside you, you know your mother is well pleased that you are able to go on without her. You know, without a doubt, this is what your mother would have want from you the most. Live a good life!

PT—Whaaat???? You are working at work on a Friday instead of being here at JJ’s having a ball watching the idiot trolls desperate attempts to put this gorgeous and couple down.
Lady, you need to get your priorities straight

Listen to this, this one troll was begging us to give them one day at OUR JP thread so that they can tell how much they hate JP’s. Cr@p they have been doing that 24/7 for THREE years  ROTFLMAO!!!! Can you believe this, they really are hilarious…

Seriously, how are you? Will you be around later?

503 living through : What a wonderful and realistic but very sad post! Exremely sad but true. I lost my sister-in-law to cancer, she was only 49, I saw her go thru all the stages. Why do I have a feeling I know you well??? Maybe I am mistaken…. Thank you so very much for such an insightful and emotional post……

From the pics a goff and on JJB, it looks like any other day with the kids. But I think Shiloh is only with them. Aren’t the other children at school?

There are those who live oblivious to the problems in the US.
There are those who see the problems and choose to say and do nothing.
There are those who criticize the US and do nothing about it.
There are those who criticize, but actively chooses to try and do something about it.
There are those who don’t criticize and just try to do what they can.

Just like all Americans, there are celebrities who fit each of the above. Paris, Johnny D, Springsteen, and Brad & Angie. B & A have never said anything bad about the US, (yes, Brad has spoken out about the US government, but I don’t consider that to be a criticism of living in the US). They are aware of the problems and instead of doing nothing or whining about it, they try and do something. I find that much more admirable.

503,love the post,thanks alot

Someone upthread mentioned that neither Brad nor Angie has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

What is the criteria for anyone to have a star?

Angie is a an academy award winner and an A-lister and Brad is a super mega international star (even though he has no Oscar).

Is it possible that you can be a mega star and never has a star just like the oscars?

Many thanks in advance.

No offense, but I’m not feeling your list.

My main problem with it is that most of these women have thriving careers for reasons I can’t fathom (Alba).

And precedent dictates that Brad + major A-List actress = Snoresville. (Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones)

+++++++++++++

ROTFL. Thank you Piper, you echoed my sentiments exactly! Brad with Alba and Biel? Bleh. You might as well just have him act opposite a wooden plank. It’d probably be more interesting than watching either of them try to do anything other than flip their hair. I’m still trying to recover from seeing Biel in Blade Trinity…and that’s been at least 2 years ago!

Myself, I would love it if Brad follows the lead of his production company, Plan B, and select potential female leads that people would never have thought of. For some reason, I never placed Brad and Angelina together, but, oh, baby, what a pairing that was.

Some choices:
Christina Ricci
Susan Sarandon
Anjelicia Huston
Michelle Pfeiffer
Angela Bassett
Whoopi Goldberg
Salma Hayek
Queen Latifah

+++++++++++++++

Personally I’m having trouble coming up with anyone at all. Maybe Streep & Kidman and possibly Uma Thurman. I started to say Charlize Theron, but she’s got a stuck-up attidunal problem! LOL!

Here’s a list of actresses who are at least interesting to watch because you know they’re not just phoning it in. I was going to add Halle, but she’s on my shitlist after her adoption comments. She can just continue making movies with second and their tier leading men! That’s her sentence for dissin’ Angie’s foreign adoptions. LOL…

Julianne Moore
Jodie Foster
Kate Winslet

Younger actresses who are also interesting to watch…

Anne Hathaway
Emily Blunt
Eva Green
Rachel McAdams (although she has been cast in State of Play I’m not sure how much her character and Brad’s interact)

god bless you poster 503 @ 10/05/2007 at 3:58 pm

#503 Living through- very nice post. We can all be so judgemental at times. And you’re right, life is not always what it appears to be. Thank you for your post, and best wishes to you.

((((((((NEW THREAD)))))))

503 living through @ 10/05/2007 at 4:02 pm

thanks for the insight, however, I have been through it - at an even younger age than angie - and that’s exactly why I criticize her for not being around her mother more often. When you know that death is inevitable, it should come naturally that you’d want to spend as much time with your parent before they leave this earth. No one wants to die alone. I would never ask my children to stop living their lives, however, one would think that your own children would want to be there with you at your weakest moments. I couldn’t even imagine NOT having my parent with me at the most joyous time of my life(giving birth), knowing all the while that they will not be around long enough to witness other miracles in life. P.S. you don’t overcome the loss of a mother OR a father. Don’t presume to know what other people have gone through. Normally one would not comment on such a loss unless they have gone through it themselves. Remember that.

A much needed new thread is awaiting you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
