Shiloh Loves Plush Puppies
Shiloh Jolie Pitt’s eyes light up at the sight of dozens of plush puppies (stuffed animal dogs) at FAO Schwarz late last month on Fifth Avenue in NYC. (You just know every stuffed animal manufacturer around the world will be overnight shipping plush puppies to Shiloh!)
To the left, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt pick up son Maddox, 6, out at the Lycée Français de New York school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Thursday afternoon.

Forget about the fact that he’s the quintessential Hollywood golden boy who’s lived in Los Angeles for two decades. Never mind that he and companion Angelina Jolie bought a house in New Orleans or that son Maddox is going to school in Manhattan. Brad Pitt still calls Missouri home.
”It’s a really sweet and gentle place to reside,” he says of Springfield, Mo., where he grew up. ” I go back home all of the time. I have to take the grandkids back or my folks would kill me. And I really do like spending time with my family.
Pitt’s decision to play Jesse James was another kind of homecoming. The actor says he understood the legendary outlaw in his bones.
”I had a really nice advantage because I’m from the same area in Missouri as Jesse James. I had the cadence of his speech and I understood the temper of the people. I’m also comfortable with horses and I’m a quick draw. So, I was ready to go.”

Hi daimon, pictures can mean a thousand words, but if you see that Brad seems serious when being photographed by the Papz, that’s because he’s really tired of the Papparazi’s. As he had earlier mentioned in the interview, they’ve run out of every major city. They’re everywhere, following them, wherever they’d go. It’s good for the fans to see their family pictures, but it must be annoying for Brad especially when he’s with his children. He seemed to be really so protective of Angelina and his kids. Then the next 1000 questions might be, why go to that school, why do this, why not move elsewhere in TIMBUKTU so no one sees them. Some of the trolls questions is worth responding to, but majority are so insanely stupid that it’s a waste of time to do so. With their home and family, careers, and their humanitarian work and projects, that is not possible, and it won’t be. Even if Brad and Angie retire someday, I know we’d still see them, because they’ve become legendary! No one in their right mind will ever forget them, especially their fans. Your other question regarding the time they spend with each other is a good point to ask when all you can see are just the pictures of them and their family together. But beneath their hectic schedules, I’m 100% sure that Brad and Angelina DO make time for each other, and that’s evident of the interviews I’ve read from each of them from People Magazine and Good Morning America.
Anyway, thanks so much JJ for the great pictures. The family looks beautiful, as always!

You should get ALL the facts before rendering such harsh judgements on others. Besides the FACT that Ms Dern started an affair with Thornton while he was still living with his then wife, Thornton has since said about his engagement to Dern that they broke off the engagement BEFORE she went on a months long film shoot. Her surprise at his later marriage to Jolie seems to have been a bit of a feint. After that people rarely talked about Dern’s own male habits.

I went to a school where everybody got picked up individually or taken to their doorstep by the schoolbus. Only us students were complaining about it. My friends drop everything to go pick up their kids in school when it’s time to do so. Weren’t you as a kid?
Maybe that’s where your problem lies. Your parents have had to let you walk home by yourself since you were in kindergarten that’s why you can’t stand to see others not getting the same treatment you did.
I assume you don’t have any children or they’d been taken away by social services cause you just let them come and go out of your place on their own.

The America media try to dictate the lives of their celebrities by building them up and tearing them down. I appreciate people who just try to live their lives irrespective of the box that society wants to put them in. Maddox is so happy to have BOTH his parents pick him up. Brad and Angelina are lucky enough to be able to arrange their schedules so that BOTH are able to pick their 6 year old son up from school. What’s wrong with that? Brad loves being a dad, he wants to enjoy all of it, he did not become a dad until he was in his 40’s, and he loves having four kids. Just like Angelina bringing Shiloh to Brad’s set so that he could visit with them at work while their three older kids were in school, and both Brad and Angelina taking Z and Pax to parks to play in NYC.
Jen did not want kids with Brad, biological or adopted, she had plenty of time to do so if she had wanted children. She made that decision, and Brad made the decision to be with a great woman who loved him and wanted the same things he wanted out of life. Jen seems happy, she has the life she wanted, she has plenty of money, she has her friends, she has moved on as the divorce was in 2005 and this is 2007. Yes she probably has regrets but doesn’t everyone at some points in their lives? I don’t think that she loved Brad as much as Angelina clearly does. Angelina has made Brad the very center of her life, something I do not think that Jen ever did.

I have no problem with two parents picking up their kid from school. In this case, it shows that Brad and Angie love their kids equally and have time to do it together. It’s not the only thing this couple does together. Angie and Brad have been together on the red carpet when only one of them promotes a movie. I’ve also seen pictures of them shopping together with their kids. Also, they travel together and so on and on… So that’s why Angie and Brad are great together. I know that all BP and JA fans love to see regular pics of them and their children but I can’t help but feel that pics like those taken of Maddox coming out of school are the kind of pics that BP was talking about in his recent Parade interview. The kids really should be off limits even if they are with their parents. I understand that everyone wants to see them growing up and changing but AJ and BP do on occasion invite the media into their home for authorised pictures. For the health and well being of this family could we not now take a stand and ask for the sites like this not to publish anymore unauthorised pics of the kids?

Shilo is very cute. She looks just like Brad with Angie’s lips. They’re a cute family but they’re a little over done - I mean, they BOTH have to pick Madox up from school each and everyday like it’s some important event? I was lucky my mother made it each afternoon.
Secondly, I wonder how Jennifer A. is holding up? Brad is gorgeous and it’s must be so hard to loose him to someone like Angelina.

do you know her personally? all you see is what the media chooses to portray. she totally plays to the media and if she didnt get all of the attention for her “good deeds” who knows if she would do them…she COULD do them anonomously and not alert the media. not to mention, anyone with that kind of money should be giving some of it away. shes an attention ***** and still seems like a total ***** to me. although i will admit shes beautiful, at least when shes not overly skinny.

To folks who keep questing Angie’s humanitarianism:
First, Angie’s is NOT a politician. She cannot make political decisions that will alleviate global poverty. Only way she can make a true impact is by using her celebrity status to bring public exposure to global poverty crisis. Angie NEEDed the media to be there when she went to Iraq to expose refugee crisis. Otherwise, her going secretly and telling those poor folks she is sorry for their miserable live isn’t going to help them. Neither is donating all her salary. It will help them for few months, but then they will be back to being hungry, sick, and without a country to go back to. She needs to bring the public–which includes ordinary folks, as well as global political and economic leaders–to take notice of the refugee crisis.
Second, Angie does go to many places privately if her aim is not to get media exposure. We just found out she went to visit refugees in Arizoan when someon blogged about it. Angie didn’t leak this. Also, we just found out Angie has been helping the organization Doctor Without Borders for years without anyone finding out about it.

I worked at the National Examiner, a sister tab to the Globe, for six months. (They, along with the Sun, shared the same building in Boca Raton, the AMI building that was targeted by the anthrax attack in 2001.)
Here’s an example of the crazy stuff that goes on at a supermarket tabloid: I was once given a story idea about a woman in Italy who hired lonely fishermens’ wives as hookers to make extra cash while their hubbies were out catching fish. I was told to look at a map of Italy and pick out the village, make up the woman’s name and was told to pick out a paparazzi photo of an older woman from the company’s vast library of international mug shots and say that was the woman. (Globe figures the odds of the woman seeing herself inthe article are so miniscule, they can risk it.)
It was wild making up an entire story from start to finish based on a one-sentence idea. But when the editors liked my work so much they wanted to give me the country music beat and start making up stories about actual people in the country music business, I quit.
Another time, we created a “story” about a bishop who injected himself with the AIDS virus to share the sufferings of his congregation. We didn’t have a bishop’s photo in the archives, so an editor went to a costume shop, rented a bishop’s costume and dressed up one of our staffers as the AIDs-infected bishop and took a photo of him. When I asked why go through all the trouble, the editor explained that photos add more believability to the story.
The money was great, but so was the toll on my conscience. But the experience gave me a lifetime’s worth of stories to tell about the bizarro world of supermarket tabloids!

Hello to all JP fans. I am so happy that JJ is spoiling us with all these updates. Thanks JJ. And I can also watch AOJJ this weekend. It will be showing in two theatres. One at Orange, the other in Irvine. Finally, a theatre close to my area. Just one thought, are they going to the London Film Festival when AOJJ opens in the UK October 19?
