Zac Efron Loves Sushi

Konnichiwa, Zikki!

Hairspray costars Zac Efron and Nikki Blonsky chat up the hosts of Japanese newsmagazine show Mezamashi TV.

Nikki opens the segment singing “Good Morning Mezamashi!” Zac talks about his free day eating yummy sushi and ramen.

By the way, did anyone else notice that the did a close up on his hand/ring when he was talking? What was that all about? Love Z and V together but this is not about them.

I hope this kid and his gf have a strong relationship. Everytime he touches or stands next to another female too long (other than Vanessa) he is romantically linked to them. Nikki Fans,

I like Nikki, but she isn’t going to get her own post until she becomes famous outside of Hairspray. You can’t star in one movie and expect bloggers to post individual posts about her or post her pics. Pictures aren’t exactly cheap and unforunately the only people that would comment on them are just Nikki fans.

Nikki doesn’t bring out the drama by herself. It’s only when you try to turn her friendship with Zac into something more that people care about.

I like the friendship Zac and Nikki have and I think they are cute together but they are FRIENDS.

Things people need to remember about Zac.

1) The guy is a FLIRT. People thought he dated Ashley Tisdale too.

2) He can make any girl feel like they could be his girlfriend. His own co-star Monique Coleman said that about him.

3) He doesn’t like people invading his personal life, which is why he doesn’t smile in the majority of candids when he spots the press following him.

This if for the HATERS…

Some of you are really insulting to Zac. You call his girlfriend a **** and jump for joy when you hear rumors that they broke up and that she cheated on him. I can’t understand that at all. I just want him to be happy and it really upsets me when people jump for joy at him getting his heart broken.

And you want to know the sad thing about this whole feud people have about who Zac dates (whether it be Vanessa, Nikki, Ashley) is that he is probably laughing at all of us. I would probably say that Vanessa probably likes Nikki and I would probably say that Nikki (being the nice person she is) was really supportive of Vanessa during the scandal and probably doesn’t approve when her fans call Vanessa a ****.

As for the video…I’m sure Zac is enjoying himself. I remember reading somewhere that he always wanted to go to Japan. Plus I’m sure he is enjoying the food and video games they have over there.

#72…you probably wish you had a voice like that “fat cow” as you so graciously call her…why is everyone so fixated on what she looks like–Zac isn’t. If he thought like you, he wouldn’t even be friends with Nikki. Luckily he is more intelligent and mature to realize that a person is made, not from the exterior, but from the interior. If he believed as you did, you’d be saying he’s only with V because of her looks and not her substance. Not saying much about her then are you?
Also, the reason this movie is so successful is because of the obvious friendship/chemistry between Zac and Nikki and the general message of acceptance that it is trying to convey. So please, support Zac and Vanessa as much as you like, but don’t belittle someone who has done nothing but come across as sweet and genuine who should be considered a new talent in the world.
After seeing Brit and Lindsay, it’s refreshing to see young actors like Zac and Nikki emerge on the scene with such poise and consideration. Let’s give credit where credit is due.

zac was the attentive one. He kept looking left and right to understand where the questions coming from. Nikki was more passive (maybe because she came much later than Zac and still suffer more of jetlag). Good for zac try to speak the language! In Italy he spoke Italian, and in Japan he spoke Japanese!

Those were really cute videos. I guess I didn’t realize how big American movies & celebrities are in foreign countries. Zac is adorable. I wish you could have heard him though, the foreign translator voice overs always make it hard to understand what is going on. But even though I couldn’t understand most of Zac’s responses, he made it worth watching. I bet he can’t wait to have all of the Hairspray promotional things to be over. He’s got to be exhausted, and missing Vanessa. :) I hope he comes home soon. I love Zanessa pics!

I find it very amusing that so many zanessa lovers feel the need to proclaim that zanessa is real, zikki is not, etc. etc. in a post that has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with Vanessa OR Zanessa. Sheesh. We all KNOW that Zac and Vanessa are together… there really is no need for you to say all that stuff. I have nothing against Vanessa, but really, this post is about ZAC and NIKKI. And also? Calling them Zikki doesn’t mean that they’re a couple. Get it together, people.

Anyway, back on topic, I loved the vid! It was so funny. I think both Zac & Nikki handled the interview very well, considering they had to wait for their translator to tell them what was going on. Also, LOVED both the link winks Zac gave at the end… that boy is too hot for his own good.

I think people who are quick to make fun of outside appearance are shallow individuals who are in it of themselves, insecure as well. #124: How does using the word Zikki not make sense? Let me spell it out for you, since you seem to be having so much trouble understanding this basic concept: Zac + Nikki = Zikki. You see, it’s just a word that combines Zac and Nikki’s names together. It doesn’t mean that whoever uses the word thinks that they’re dating or are an “item.” It is simply quicker to write “Zikki” than “Zac and Nikki.” Gosh, I’m so sick of people getting their panties in a bunch about people using the word, because, guess what? i think Nikki is sweet. She is grateful for just getting the chance to play her dream role.

Personally, I don’t like the use of Zikki, Zanessa or any other combo name. Zac, Nikki and Vanessa are individuals and should be viewed as such.

Right now, this post has to do with the work Nikki and Zac did together and they were GREAT in it. They both deserve to get as much press and praise as they are getting now. For my fellow Vanessa fans, I am sure JJ will provide us with our daily dose of her soon.
