Don’t you just love it when posters like style dis other posters’ countries, culture, etc. while at the same time saying that they are open-minded, enlightened, etc etc. And they honestly don’t see the contradiction. I would like to really dis style because of that killer country comment, but it’s Sunday, dont feel like it so am gonna let it go.

I read in popsugar where Pam Anderson married again, and this time to that sleazy Rick Salomon. Seriously, what is with this Pam Anderson who seems to gravitate towards guys who treat her like crapola a few weeks after the wedding? And why no outcry against her marrying again and again — what, the boys are introduced to a new stepfather every three seconds? And yet Angelina gets heck when she dresses, dresses down, picks up Maddox, doesn’t pick up Maddox, carries Zee and Pax, doesn’t carry Zee and Pax, is shown with Shi, is not shown with Shi, in other words, Angie gets he*ll for simply existing, while others who have done much worse, like Britney and Pamela, get free passes!

IMO, the reason why Pam Anderson gets a free pass is because she’s not a threat anymore. Let me rephrase… her cans are huge, but her career and her influence and power in HW aren’t. She is a caricature now, whereas Angelina is evolving and challenging perceptions of what a woman’s capabilities are. Angelina is beautiful, but she’s smart; Angelina is smart, but she takes risks; Angelina takes risks, but she is capable of giving; Angelina is capable of giving, but she can withhold; Angelina withholds, but not toward her friends and family. There are so many sides of Angelina, so she will always be a source of fascination.

Pam, like Carmen Electra, have only a few shades to them. They marry the wrong man; they pose for Playboy; they dance on stripper poles or with the PussyCat Dolls; they marry another wrong man. Some deviations, but not much.
