Britney Spears - “Gimme More” Music Video

The Britney Spears “Gimme More” Music Video was supposed to premiere Monday on TRL but it’s already available on iTunes. It’s the first video off her upcoming album, out Nov. 13.

Brit plays “split personalities” but the dominant/dark one wears a leather vest, a studded belt and skimpy panties over ripped fishnet stockings.

The video (mostly swinging around a stripper pole) was Brit’s “concept and her vision” and directed by first-timer Jake Sarfaty (”handpicked” by Ms. Spears).

That video was trashy. AS IN NO OFFENSE. i’m really disappointed. I use to love her a lotttt, hell loads. and this video just changes everything. This is no comeback, Britney. Bring yourself together, and do a better job.

well it sucked like we pretty much all knew it would. If she was smart she would have done something more like this vintage Paula Abdul video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrrzInBwe9Q where you really don’t see much of her and they did lots of product shots, body doubles, etc. She could have made a statement about the public always wanting more of her, the excess of the tabloids, paparazzi, something edgy where we didn’t have to look at her and could enjoy the song which isn’t THAT bad, but instead she chose to once again show the world what a trashy ho she’s become because in her mind she still thinks she’s all that. But the reality is, she’s just a car wreck on the side of the road - it’s gruesome but we all can’t help but look.

Isn’t the purpose of a video to tell a story with the song? Yea…plot “wants sex on stripper floor while some random guy watches me hump a pole”. The video was pathetic. And they used all the different angles and colors to distract you from how horrible she looks.

I wasted 3ish minutes of my life watching Britney getting off on a pole.

Sorry fans, but this video sucked big time. It was so bad, it was hard to watch. How can you even compare this to her VMA’s performance, she hardly even done anything but swing around a pole like a first time stripper (if you’re going to copy a **** dancing around a pole, at least take some training lessons with at least one first). I completely didnt get the point of her other alter ego being there? Can someone explain. (and yes we all knew that blonde wig was a WIG, get extensions or better yet scrap the damn idea). Britney is former shadow of her old self. She needs to take some time out and then return when she’s fully ready.
