Nicole Kidman @ ‘Margot at the Wedding’ Screening
Nicole Kidman (in Prada) joins writer/director Noah Baumbach and his wife actress Jennifer Jason Leigh for the New York Film Festival Q&A screening of Margot At The Wedding on Friday.
Both Kidman and Leigh star in the film. Jack Black also costars. Nicole’s character, Margot, is a successful but neurotic writer who brings her 11-year-old son (played by newcomer Zane Pais) to spend a weekend visiting her free-spirited sister Pauline (Leigh) on the eve of her wedding to Black’s character. Margot disapproves of Pauline’s choice of fiancé, which causes tension between the two sisters.
FYI: Jake Gyllenhaal grabbed lunch with Baumbach last month.
Margot at the Wedding is scheduled for a November 16th limited release.

So this is why Kidman was dressed up! I was wondering why she was randomly dressed up in the street. lol.
When you look at close up pictures of her you can see a resemblance to her and Marcia Cross.

Especially around the eyes. In the third pic her eyes look so taut, it looks as if she’s unable to even blink!
Nicole used to have an elegant natural beauty. Now her face just looks frozen.

I think her blonde hair washes her out so bad. I liked her red hair so much better, she looked vibrant and alive, now she looks like a corpse.
And of course, her face is botoxed to death. Nobody at 40 is completely wrinkle free like that. Especially on the forehead.
10-Jaxon: She is not wrinkle-free! That’s just her make-up. I just watched her in “Margot at the Wedding”, and she does have wrinkles on her forehead. The lines are very fine, though, barely noticeable.

Everyone who commented that wrinkle-free at 40 isn’t natural…. I’m 44 without wrinkles and without botox. My mom is 70 and is only beginning to get that crepe textured skin… HER grandmother died at 80 without a line in her face. HOWEVER… we all started turning grey at an early age (more like white than grey). I started at 15. Oh… and the broken veins in the legs… we are talking Road Map here! A blessing “here” but a curse “there”…. (sigh).
But I am curious about the whiteness of Nicole’s skin… glutathione tablets maybe? (google it)
About tanning and skin cancer… folks, you need about 10-15 minutes over most of your body per day. Darker complexions need more (not sure how much… 30 minutes?). This is so that your body produces enough Vitamin D3 so that you DON’T get cancer. Sunscreen allows you to stay in the sun way too long and actually contributes to skin cancer by allowing overexposure without the warning sign of a burn. Just because you don’t burn doesn’t mean you’re not doing any damage. Just because you’re white and untanned doesn’t mean that you’re safe from getting cancer. (google Vitamin D3 and cancer prevention)
Btw… any suggestions for finding pretty shoes in a Nordic size? :)
