Vanessa Hudgens arrives to Variety Magazine’s 2007 Power of Youth event benefiting St. Jude at the Globe Theater in Universal City, Calif. on Saturday afternoon. The High School Musical star met up with fellow Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana fame.
Suede boots seem to be the footwear of choice at this event!
Vanessa sure has been racking up those frequent flier miles! Just yesterday, she hit up the International Vision Expo.

Yes you did misinterpret my comment into thinking that it had anything to do insecurities. I’m 19 and yes I have my insecurities, but if your saying that it has anything to do with Vanessa, then sorry to disappoint but I tend to avoid the whole concept of being jealous or even envying celebrities because they have more than me or whatever it is that I’m supposed to be turning green for in your opinion, which all the Vanessa lovers seem to think about anyone who has a negative opinion of the girl. I do admit that my comment was bordering on very rude when I compared Vanessa to Paris Hilton, that really was out of line. BUT, I genuanly think that after the whole naked photos were leaked on the internet she miraculously became peparazzi magnet, and extremely famous with the number of comments posted under every post on this site, not surprisingly, probably perverted men half her age and horny teenagers and lovers who look for haters to bash on. BTW, were you somehow referring to me when you wrote,

because if you did, how did you get the idea that I don’t have a good body and when did I say that she shouldn’t be happy with her own body?

In post #314 Narf mentions a small interview with Vanessa in Newsdaya and it’s good to see her doing press again. The first interview she did was Monday on Access Hollywood when she doing the charity event at the bowling alley. When Accesss host Nancy O’Dell was introducing the segment she said that Vanessa wasn’t ready to discuss the scandal directly. Which leads to my question is it a smarter for Vanessa to do the small interviews like she’s doing now or should she just bite the bullet and do a sit down (television or print) where she answers questions about the photo? I know she’s not obligated to do one but I do think it would a long way to helping her reputation if she were to put a lot of rumors and accusations that have been floating around to rest.

I understand your point about V doing an interview to put to rest some of the rumors. I guess for me, it doesn’t matter anymore; there are more important matters in the world to talk about (i.e. the presidential election, war, homelessness). Vanessa’s one indiscretion (which should not have been public knowledge in the first place) does not change the fact that her bubbly personality and her cute relationship with Zac makes people young and old happy; they make me forget the daily problems I face for a while. Maybe her silence is the best way to handle the situation depending on how the photos were leaked. It wouldn’t surprise me if she is protecting someone by taking all of the backlash herself. She did more than I have come to expect from young Hollywood by stepping up and admitting it was her and the pics were real. If she finds a need to rehash the matter fine but for me it is water under the bridge. Either way, she has my support.
