Vanessa Hudgens arrives to Variety Magazine’s 2007 Power of Youth event benefiting St. Jude at the Globe Theater in Universal City, Calif. on Saturday afternoon. The High School Musical star met up with fellow Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus of Hannah Montana fame.
Suede boots seem to be the footwear of choice at this event!
Vanessa sure has been racking up those frequent flier miles! Just yesterday, she hit up the International Vision Expo.

I think Vanessa will answer questions if given a respectable interview someday. I do feel out of repect she should reschedule Leno, but matbe closer to when the HSM DVD comes out so she can have to talk about too. Going to these small events is definately smart for her to do to get back into a positive light. She doesn’t do drugs, she doesn’t drink or smoke and she DID NOT mean for those pics to get out. She’s a good kid who was humiliated , but is now working on getting her good image back.
I think she’s doing one hell of a job. Go Vanessa!

Joy, not all “V” fans resort to childish behavior so please don’t group us together like that. I have noticed that some fans indeed behave badly and I find that unacceptable because both Vanessa and Ashley are friends. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I have no problem with that as long as everyone is respectful towards one another. If I offended you or Regina by grouping either of you in the “hater” or “troll” category unfairly then I sincerely apologize.

Okay, I’m calm now and I apologize to Regina for namecalling that is unnecessary. But I do want to make clear that the reason I go by “Troy” is because that is MY NAME. It’s got nothing to do with “High School Musical.” But I have a question for the “Haters.” For the lack of Its one thing to come here and say “Meh don’t like her.” But why do some of you keep coming back and make snide remarks? Gosh, Vanessa is SUCH a bad girl. I mean, she goes to charity events constantly. She spends time with her little sister, her mom, and sometimes even her dad. She never shows intense public display of affection when she’s out and about with her incredibly gorgeous boyfriend.
We always see her either going to the mall with friends, or buying smoothies. We never see pictures of her stumbling out of clubs at 3 am, drunk, and hoping into her car to drive home. And we’ve never seen her drink, smoke or do drugs.
Yup, it’s official, Vanessa is just Hollywood’s resident bad girl. Lock the girl up and throw away the key, she’s a threat to national security.

Honestly, the only bad thing Vanessa’s ever done was pose for nude pictures at the age of sixteen. Pictures that were only meant to be seen by her, and MAYBE her boyfriend at the time. And she aplogized to her fans only two days after they came out, and it wasn’t even her fault. Vanessa made a mistake two, maybe even three years ago, and I believe the only people who have the right to hold it against her are the ones who have never screwed up before.
