Finally, I am hearing some voices of people’s concern for pop star, Britney Spears. From Dr. Phil to Roseanne Barr, people are coming to the forefront to suggest that Britney Spears needs support (and may I add not another album) right now. Everyone knows in their heart of hearts that Britney Spears needs help, support, and an intervention not another paparazzi expose.
One thing that I have learned from watching Britney Spears’ life unfold before the tabloids is how sick our country is with its insatiable desire for “famous fare”. Enough is enough! What does everyone in our country watch at 7:00 at night? Is it the next chapter in the Britney Spears saga? May I make a suggestion?
If you are watching television (and there are a million other things that we can do at 7:00 at night) may I suggest that you watch Wheel of Fortune! It’s wholesome, never has any scandals, and is pure fun. You don’t have to look at pictures of Britney Spears having break downs, or Anna Nicole Smith right before she died, or any other tabloid fare that is conjured up for the masses. This isn’t fun, it isn’t entertainment. Try Wheel of Fortune and then Jeopardy, and leave these other shows alone.
Their exploitation of people is disgusting and if I see another photo of Anna Nicole Smith before her deathbed or a frantic Britney Spears I am going to scream. What has our nation come to? People sit back and mock others at the brink of suicide, death, and despair. This is entertainment? This is civilization? Is it really? Why do people want to know every little detail regarding a celebrity’s life anyway? Is yours that bad, that boring, that lacking of anything special that all you can do is meditate on the downfall of the rich and famous?
These entertainment, paparazzi filled, tabloid shows are the downfall of our nation. Did anyone see Angelina Jolie when her mother died and Brad Pitt had to “shoo” away the paparazzi? My God, is this an example of being a good American citizen? That people are grieving the death of loved ones and all anyone can think about is taking a picture and selling it?
I heard Cameron Diaz once say that she was walking down a street and paparazzi jumped out of the bushes at her, I don’t recall the exact details, but you know what? If I’m walking down the street and someone jumps out at me, there is going to be a fight.
Why buy these magazines and watch these television shows? It is a disgrace to our country and our nation.
David Letterman totally belittled Paris Hilton on his show while everyone sat there laughing hysterically. It’s a good thing that Paris didn’t have the character of someone off the streets because if she did, it wouldn’t have been tears that filled her eyes. Many people would have gone off on David Letterman, right there on his show.
When people die, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people overdose, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people pass out driving their cars, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people go to jail, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people grieve the loss of their parents, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people get divorced, I don’t call it entertainment.
When people lose their children, I don’t call it entertainment.

Eff Nicole Kidman. She got famous and big by riding off the coattails of Tom Cruise, and when Tom kicked her ass to the curb, the country felt sorry for her and made her bigger than she deserved to be. She is NOTHING special. Believe that.

You know what. The Fact that Jolie Pitts are considered the 12th most generous celebrity is a good thing not bad. Why are people arguing about it. It mean that they put their money where their mouth is.

BTW people who go on silly about her and Brad adopting outside America, they were not the first to do this great deed and those poeple who vilified as if it was a bad thing. Michelle Phiffer has a daughter from another world, and had to stop a reporter from calling the girl “your adopted daughter”. Michelle Phiffer stopped bher by saying something like “she is my daughetr. You do not need to keep saying adopted daughter” Mia Farrow adopted something like 10 kids from around the world. Sadly one of them I believe was preyed on what was meant to be their ” father”.

Gosh Jared, over 400 posts on brangelina. The only thing is I can see pics of Angie and Brad, but I do think the kids need to be left alone. Im sure pictures of them will surface here and there because the Brangelina people know the fans want this. But not everyday. They children did not ask to be thrown in this limelight.Same thing for Britneys babies. No it won’t help, but just my opinion., Anyway, I can’t believe this family gets more posts than anyone.

You know I also thought of something. I remember when Audrey Hepburn was involved with saving the children I believe she was a spokesperson for UNICEF. It was a while back ago, and my memory of what I read is not what it was, but…..I think she was in a concentration camp in WWII and was so starved and I think it affected her appetite from then on. She also made the remark that she could not think of her hunger when she would look at all of the children in 3rd world countries starving and dying. I think maybe after Angelina saw these peple and children it too affected her. If they adopt 20 kids good for them, but let them live a peaceful life.

I actually think more and more celebrities are using their fame to do better for the world and all of its people.

to be honest, i wont care less if angie is pregnant. if she is, congrats because they’ll make a beautiful child. but i doubt she is actually pregnant. i love what she’s wearing too and i really want a pair of those nude flats!

#42….LMFAO! That rack, as you call it, is NOT REAL. You can’t gain weight in the boobs overnight! She has been flat chested for awhile, now all of a sudden she has boobs! HAHAHAHAHA, water bra or when she was missing in action had a lift. You know it’s true.
