my boys got some of them when they were that age after a couple of hours at home i had to hide them,but they had a lot fun with them.

I think Pax and Zee are the two kids who had a cold that was in Brad’s interview. You can see from the picture he looks like he hasnt recovered. And Zee was sleeping in the yesterday pics maybe she feels better than Pax. Kids going to the the same day care normally tend to catch a flu at the same time. Hope they get better soon.

Sometimes it is refereshing to have close friends that are not of Hollywood type of people. It is more real & more in your face kind of feeling. I love them more & more each day. I love seeing the whole family out but I think it is so cool that the Jolie-Pitts take the kids out for private one-on-one time. This night was for their sons. Wonder where they’ll take the girls. I’m sure it makes the kids feel very special that they get undivided attention in this way. It can’t be easy for Brad and Angie to do this but they are definitely committed to giving this kind of individual attention to their kids.

AJ + BP are able to leave 2 children at home and go out with the other two, they are able to run out together, or leave a child in a car as they run in to grab the other, they have people to cook/clean, help with shopping, paying bills, making arrangements for travels, you name it, they have the help to get it done! these are everyday stressors that wear and tear the everyday individual… So THEY should be happy, everyday of their life they should smile at the blessed nature of their existence. As we all should. And why begrudge anyone happiness, if they found it, however they found it, let them have it, we all have it…

Troy was 10M upfront and 13% after the studio was paid. MM&S was before the studio was paid. He still made about 70M off of Troy and no, Aniston didn’t get any thing off of him. They made it a point to keep their finances separate and she made alot of money herself. Not the kind he made, but, still, she made her own big money. Brad could go after her too if she went after him. She made it a point to not ask for spousal support, meaning, she didn’t need his money. The only two items that they were co-owners of were the BH house and Plan B. We know how that all worked out for her. :)

Yes…last year Johnny Depp made $78MIL on PoTC2. The year before that Tom Cruise made $69MIL on MI3. A few years ago Will Smith made like $45MIL on MiB2. These kinds of deals are one of the reasons that Sumner Redstone dropped Tom Cruise last year. TC wanted an even bigger chunk and Redstone didn’t want to give it to him because his BO returns were decreasing, but TC was getting a higher percentage than the studio. Remember - this is the GROSS, not the net. So the studio still has to pay all the expenses out of their share…plus, Redstone can’t stand Tom Cruise and thinks he’s nuts. He may be old with one foot in the grave…but he’s not crazy!

These numbers are why people frequently laugh at the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. They had Brad’s income for 2005 at either $20MIL and he was #20 on the list. That was the year M&MS came out and just from the BO alone he was well over $45mIL…and Forbes got it completely wrong. They’re just guestimating. So this year they have Okra at $236MIL…which means she probably made twice that!

Also - I was being facetious about X getting any of the Troy money. One of the many things we’ve always talked about with their marriage is how they kept their finances separate. Never has there been a better statement. What her fans should do is instead of bashing Brad and Angelina and the family. Take a look at where Anistons life is, she is basically in the same place she was during the marriage and after, chasing movie deals, career. Thats what is “seems” to be all about with her. There is nothing wrong with that, that is the life Aniston chooses, as long as she is happy right? Tanning, Photoshoots, walking dogs on the beach, walking Norman, attending award shows etc. Jennifer has always done this, she has not grown and there is the problem. Brad has grown as an indivdual, made an effort to do more. However, I think Aniston did a wonderful job of holding Brad back, hiding who he truly was from the public, everything even in her interviews was about her and how she feels, her and how she is coping with “parent issues” her and how she is coping with career issues” All about her.
What I have a hard time understanding is why her fans are angry because Brad wanted more out of life? If Brad was with Aniston he most likely would still be childless and sitting on his couch. It is obvious that Brad is the Brad pre Aniston and is happy. I am sure Aniston is happy with her life, but she will never come out and say it or have actions that show it. The minute she takes responsibilty for failures in life, including her marriage, is the minute the sympathy and the “wronged woman” image goes out the window. It’s actually very few actors that have % deals. You can probably count on two hands, if that, who does. It depends on how the deal is structured and that’s why the strikes are looming because the studios have not been fair or upfront to the actors, etc. that don’t really have a lot of power.

I know Tom C’s deal with Paramount, his % of dvd sales was something like 63 cents on the dollar. The studio didn’t get rich off of his movies. Cruise got rich off of his movies.

Again, with producers, it all depends on how long they’ve been in the game and how successful they’ve been to negotiate a solid deal for themselves. Some producers forfeit their upfront fees to keep the cost of a film down and renegotiate it for a bigger % of the profit of the film.

Studios are notorious for fudging actual numbers, which is now getting harder to hide. I know that Tom Hanks had to take the studio that did Forrest Gump to court because they weren’t honest about the numbers and he’s also in litigation now with Nia Vardales(sp?) for My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

The fact is, most movies don’t make any profit these days until they hit dvd. It’s very rare for a movie to be in the black before that time. Few actors and even fewer actresses can guarantee a profit before dvd.

That is why overseas B.O. has become so important. The U.S. box office now ONLY accounts for 37% of a movies B.O. gross. The other 63% is made overseas. Very few U.S. actors have World Wide appeal. Those that do get the big movies made and get the big salaries for it.

Having not read all the posts - my take on the pictures is that “Pax” whoever he thinks he is, is not happy. It’s too soon for all this publicity for this boy. Jolie, Pitt and Maddox look happy and adjusted, and in loveliness. Not poor Pax though. Too much too soon is a problem in the making.

OT just wanted to say that although today was Columbus Day it’s also ironically Leif Erikson Day.

Perhaps you mean well, but really, you really cannot tell at this age what trouble is in the making 15 years from now for any child. Will a child fall into drugs? Will they not?? Who would have thought Marion Jones would be convicted of cheating? Who would have thought Angelina would grow up to be an Ambassador for the UN or Brad a MEGA CELEBRITY when they were 3.

similarly, this young man who grew up in middle American white picket fence environment just shot 6 people, people he has known most of his life, to death. Who in his community or friends or family even, could have predicted this outcome when he was 3 or 4 or even at 19??

I think Pax has a good chance as most children to be OK. he will have some memory of his deprivation. and I hope it will drive him to help others. My parents came from poor families. They impressed upon me, the privileges and its responsibilities I had, not be fail myself or my family or my society.

How weird that you did not question why the other little boy at the right of the picture is not smiling.

How weird that you did not take into consideration the great pics and videos of Pax smiling and enjoying himself at the playground in NY.

Great post lylian. It seemed to me the haters & doubters always predict the future that are full of pessimism. If a person hates someone it is true that you only think about the negative aspects of the person you despised. Your logic/ reasoning are always blocked due to the fact that hatred is present & working thus giving your opinion biased outcome.

It is the same when people goes to jury duty. If the accused person is not white & you as a juror is racist, for sure, you will be out of the jurors chair because whatever decision you will make from the case will always be one-sided.

Can someone please educate me as to the thinking behind not showing Jesse James more widely? What AM I missing? What don’t I get? I live in the northeast corridor between Boston and New York, and it cannot be found in my area. He and Casey received rave reviews, as did the movie itself. What are they waiting for? Is it still only in 5 theatres? I am just baffled. It is almost as if they don’t want it to make money.

Shiloh is so cute! Love her! Saw a little boy in the restaurant today that looks like Pax! He was really cute! He did not want to siet down and kept running around. He was about 2.
In the video on Insider or ET of Brad and Angie leaving the off broadway show “Jump” noticed how Brad looked back for Angie when she was saying thank you to someone. They really care for one aontier. Will be glad when all the rumors about break ups and **** stops. When they go to LA we will not see that much of them. Have really enjoyed these past months!
