Lindsay Lohan Checks Outta Rehab

Ex-rehab-er Lindsay Lohan says a special goodbye to her father, Michael Lohan, and his yet-to-be-identified girlfriend in Sundance, Utah on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Mr. Lohan and his special somebody stayed took Lindsay to have breakfast at the local diner, Jim’s Family Restaurant.

On Friday, it was reported that Lindsay checked out of rehab at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. “She’s finished the program,” one source told People. “Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay.”

Mom Dina added: “I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”

Dad Michael also added: “I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she’s going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own. Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best.”

Good for you! At least here is one girl in hollywood, unlike BRitney and Paris who is trying to clean up her act. I think she will do well! Good Luck Lindsay!

please say it anin’t so….i really do not want to hear about lindsay lohan antics all over the tabloids…i like many am sick of hearing about her….i wish she would stay out of the spotlight for a year…we have all had enough already…paris and lindsay overkill…let brit get some of the attention rt. now until we get sick of her…but at least she is promoting an album…lindsay and paris partying is not news!

I really hope she makes it. She has talent. She has had no parental guidance and has worked all her life supporting them. This is a new beginning. Except we all knoqw the paps will not leave her alone…and if she goes back to the LA scene and all her old “friends” she will have a very hard time keeping up progress. I hope she heads east and “disappears.” No more heavy nightclubbing and hanging out. I know she is young, but she has to totally rebuild everything to survive.

She’s young and the fight of her life begins now and, hopefully, she will align herself with an entirely new circle of friends. With having an inherited predispostion to substance abuse, her father should be of great help during her recovery process. They both look wonderful, and the bond between daughter-father is a very important one for attracting the appropriate future mate!

I don’t think rehab (again) will change Lindsay, but I hope that she proves us wrong. She is young and has a lot of time to turn her life around and go easier on the partying.

I really like Lindsay despite all her crazy antics, there is just something about her that makes me like her. She’s charming and gorgeous.

Lindsay is so talented!

I think it’s great that she went to rehab.

Now, comes the hardest part and I hope she stays out of trouble, so she can come back to what’s important: her work.

I hope this time she can stay sober. I am sick of all these teen stars going downhill. First Brit now Linds. Hope she can keep up with this treatment. I will start to respect her again when she can start rebuilding her life and get it back on track.
