It’s the same old regular side driveway entrance. Don’t know how it got labelled a garage, but there isn’t one. You can see the gates that lead to the street. Part of the driveway is covered by the building, part — in the middle — is open. Anyway, just thought I’d put that out there again.

As to how they choose the entrance. I’m sure they use the driveway when it’s available! It’s a bit more private. :)

Almost all actor or actresses including sport stars have a charity, organization or cause they give money and in some cases time to I guess they didn’t know according to you they are not making a difference and self serving.

Money helps, time helps, a light in the form of attention to the problems of the world help. It helps others get involve in the world, in their communites and in the political and legal process. Because that is where a lot of problems have to be solved within the political system and the people who make the most noise are the people that get the help.

I won’t call you are hater but I do think people who think like you are part of the problem instead of part of the solution.

For those who are saying they are paying an obsurd amount of money to stay at the Waldorf, well if I remember correctly they are not staying at the actual hotel. Angie owns a condo which is connected to the hotel, she has owned it since I think the late 90’s. Therefore they may be exiting in and out of the hotel but they are staying at her place that she owns there. Even if they were staying at the hotel I’m pretty sure the production company for Brad’s film that he is filming there is comping the expense, and if not who cares they can afford it. It is their right to do as they will with their money just like it is ours to do with ours as we like (of course after taxes and bills), the only difference they have more of it.

You need to learn how to read. When Forbes said Angie’s earnings was 20M, Forbes was saying it is the gross amount. Please go to this link, //www.forbes.com/lists/2007/53/07celebrities_Angelina-Jolie_T5SH.html . Per the article, Forbes said, “……Management, agent and attorney fees have not been deducted……”.

In real life, the net amount is a lot lower after deducting expenses. Very often, when people talk about contributing, they are referring to a certain % from the net amount and not the gross amount.

.Since Angie set up the Jolie Pitt foundation sometime in 2006, she could have given 1/3 of her income to the foundation. and true , it is a donation with a tax write off on her tax return. Since a foundation is NOT required to disburse all the money received, therefore, the amount which you quoted 2.4 M is the amount which her foundation dished out to charities and NOT the amount which Angie contributed to her foundation. That said, you cannot use this 2.4 million as a benchmark to gauge her %.

In fact, any CPA will advise her to always leave a big chunk of money, ( meaning NOT to dish out all the money from the foundation) , to serve as principal. In that case, you can continue to have money to fund the projects. To explain in layman terms. Think the analogy “mother hen and egg “. mother hen = principal (money which Angie donated), egg = interest ( or money earned from the principal). Another good example is , think Harvard endowment. Harvard only hands out all the interest earned from the principal as grant money to the students. Harvard NEVER touches the principal . In other words, the principal is always kept intact in the foundation.
REASON: You want to perpetuate the principal, so that there is the INCOME STREAM (eggs from the mother hen) to continue funding your charitable projects.

I also want to point out that once Angie gives money to the foundation, she cannot use that money for her personal purpose. That money belongs to the foundation. She has the authority to direct where the money goes, that is to legitimate charitable organizations. Every year, the foundation needs to file a tax return with the IRS detailing all the receipts and disbursements.

I do believethat she gave 1/3 of her income to charities. Later, I shall find you the article which O Reily did an investigation on her, and found that SHE WALKS THE WALK.

In short, there is no info on the internet which gives the amount of her net income, and unless you see her tax return, you have no info on her donation to her foundation. Therefore, you post is WRONG.

Most philantropist are super billionaire who donate and still lived in a luxurious life style, a few popular example are Bill Gates, Warren Buffet,and Oprah. all these guys donate but still in their billion dollar mansion. Oprah donate a school in SA but I knew she still lived in her mansion at Chicago, the Gate visited and donate a large sum of money in some of the most impoverished country of the world but they still went home to their billion dollar Island mansion in Seattle.

Brad and Angie have every right to live a good life! they work hard for for their wealth not stolen. If maniston can splash her money in a 15 million dollar mansion, unending plastic surgeries, tanning, exotic vacation, bleaching, margaritas, ciggie, waxing her vajayajay or buying boytoy model ? Why can Brad and Angie enjoy this small luxury ?

Why are people in this world so bitter and angry about another person life esp the rich & famous. The Pitt’s family are continuously being slammed by bitterness and hatred.How many of this haters know this family personally and understand them.It is their money, they earn it and it is up to them how they spend it.Just imagine if they were renting an apartment in NYC, there will be chaos with the papps swarming around. Their neighbor will be upset with the crowds they draw.They will be calling the cops to disburse the papps for disturbing their neigborhood. Tax payer money to keep peace here. To pay 10000 for the comfort and security is worth it with all the amenities included for this family. For us average people it is not worth it because we do not need this type of security.

…Voight failed in his obligations as a father and a husband! Angie should forgive him, but she has every right to protect her children from being hurt in the same way she was by him. And anyone saying that BRAD committed adultery with Angie fails to realize that Jen broke the covenant of ‘two flesh shall be one’ by refusing to acknowledge Brads deep and natural need to have a child during their 7 year relationship. She should not have kept accepting movie offers when her husband was clearly in pain. Hope she is happy with her career now, cause I know Brad is happier with Angie…even if they dont last.
