Kate Walsh dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday to chat up her recent wedding and new TV show.

During the show, Ellen complimented the Private Practice star on her wedding ring. “Thank you,” Kate said giggling. “It was a gift from my husband.”

Kate, who turns 40 on Saturday, doesn’t let fame get to her head — she still cleans up after her dog.

“Basically everything’s the same except that we have a bigger house,” she said. “I still pick up my own dog poop. You just can’t ask someone to do that. I can’t. People are like, ‘Listen there’s a service.’ I’m like, I can’t in good faith. It’s a good exercise in humility. You just got to get down there. There’s nothing like a picture of me in the backyard holding up a bag of poop.”

Regina I guess you havent seen a EP interview, now she is BORING and DUMB.

At least Kate graduated high school and went to college, Ellen Pompeo NEVER graduated high school. EP can only get a Felon, convicted drug dealer to marry her ugly ass.

Anyways, I like Kate. She is a good actress and I loved her as a strong, independent woman on Greys. I don’t like her on Private Practice though. Anyways I wish her all the best w/ her marriage. She seems very happy, good for her =)

Finally I got to watch the Ellen interview. Kate looked beautiful. I find any interview with Kate extremely interesting and enjoyable.She seems very articulate and intelligent. The Marie Claire interview also indicates that Kate has a much higher level of thinking than some of her former costars. Kate is extremely interesting-so much so that people who claim to dislike her are always looking for her.

I can’t wait for Private Practice tomorrow.

agree with #31. if i were a talk show host i’d have kate on at least twice a month. she’s not only interesting to talk to, but funny as hell and lovely to look at. what i would give to be like her! gaa. thanks once again for the upload JJ! everyone wants a piece of Kate!
