Kate Walsh dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday to chat up her recent wedding and new TV show.
During the show, Ellen complimented the Private Practice star on her wedding ring. “Thank you,” Kate said giggling. “It was a gift from my husband.”
Kate, who turns 40 on Saturday, doesn’t let fame get to her head — she still cleans up after her dog.
“Basically everything’s the same except that we have a bigger house,” she said. “I still pick up my own dog poop. You just can’t ask someone to do that. I can’t. People are like, ‘Listen there’s a service.’ I’m like, I can’t in good faith. It’s a good exercise in humility. You just got to get down there. There’s nothing like a picture of me in the backyard holding up a bag of poop.”

Finally I got to watch the Ellen interview. Kate looked beautiful. I find any interview with Kate extremely interesting and enjoyable.She seems very articulate and intelligent. The Marie Claire interview also indicates that Kate has a much higher level of thinking than some of her former costars. Kate is extremely interesting-so much so that people who claim to dislike her are always looking for her.
I can’t wait for Private Practice tomorrow.
agree with #31. if i were a talk show host i’d have kate on at least twice a month. she’s not only interesting to talk to, but funny as hell and lovely to look at. what i would give to be like her! gaa. thanks once again for the upload JJ! everyone wants a piece of Kate! You know you do ;) can’t wait for PrP tomorrow, the previews look hilarious.
I love the ponytail and she looks pretty, but I hate the outfit. She always gives great interviews. She seems so giggly and happy now; it’s really sweet.
She seems like a fun gal to hang out with :)
Good interview but I would’ve wished that the interview was longer than that.

At least Kate graduated high school and went to college, Ellen Pompeo NEVER graduated high school. EP can only get a Felon, convicted drug dealer to marry her ugly ass.

Nice interview (if short !). Kate looks gorgeous - a pity to hide those fabulous pins, but I love her hair like that & she does seem to be glowing recently. Newlywed bliss.

Tonight’s episode was very, very short! I know it had the usual 40 something minutes, but I was left wanting more. It was so good!

Yep, I agree with #47 Angie - Addie was back & kicking ass in Episode 3. Loved the start & end with her in the rain & loved her bitchy rant to Pete ‘dirty man’. Great episode :)
I agree with most of the people on here, i mean Ellen if all she can get is a felon, something is wrong here dont you think? I think so. And I think Kate is way funnier than ELLEN will ever be, she’s pretty dumb when it comes to jokes.
I love PP and I love KATE WALSH end of story, and if all yall can do is come on here, and start talking **** about her, then yall are dumb.If you dont like her, then dont read about her.
