“Jumper” Trailer
The “Jumper” trailer has arrived and it looks very promising!!!
Brought to you by director Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), the premise of the story is as follows: A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between ‘Jumpers‘ and those who have sworn to kill them.”
Hayden Christensen plays the young man, as David Rice. Rachel Bilson plays his love interest and Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Bell, and Diane Lane also costar.
Jumper opens in theaters nationwide on February 15, 2008.

I’ll probably go see this movie, but it looks like it might suck. Idk… action movies like this usually fall flat, but it is a good premise.
Not bad, not bad at all. Hopefully people won’t pre-judge this movie just because the poorly written Star Wars films (hey, Episode II and III WERE poorly written!).. and think that Hayden can’t act. Here’s to hope.

Doug is a great director and I know that this will be cool but He should have chosen his cast more carfuly. I mean I love that British guy. and Samuel but the star wars kid and the OC girl? Its not gonnabe bad. but it could have been so much better

Since this is under Doug Liman, it could pattern to the sequel of Bourne Identity too that the female co-star had died in the sequel so that the Davey Rice could get another & better leading lady…
As expected Bilson would look like just “wall flower” in this film just to say that if there’s a leading man, there’s also be a leading lady…

Actually the BEST Bourne movies (both in reviews & box-office) are on its sequels that are handled by Paul Greengrass and Liman just stay put in the background as a producer. We’ll hopefully Liman could handed it AGAIN to Paul just in case there’s going to have a sequel…

It looks like its “really” HC’s film. The rest are just on their supporting if not bit roles…

So I see that those 2 co-stars hanging & hyping around just all over LA will be now more beneficial to use coz it looks like that Jumper is now on its promotional run. So we’ll see…
well there’s kirsten dunst on spiderman, megan fox on transformers, katie holmes on batman, kate bosworth on superman, emma watson on harry potter, and so on and on…….
of course bilson is a supporting character but she is also a female lead in a big sci-fi movie this 2008…
actually i’ve read the book after it was announced that rachel will be a part of this and her character does not die until book 3…if ever this will have a sequel….and the book 2 is focused more on millie’s character…

The book (the first one) is FANTASTIC! The latest (ther are 3, I believe) has been getting good reviews. I was disappointed in the second one.

my god, how many movies does samuel jackson do every year? does this man ever spend any down time with his family? i swear you will see his name in a least 4 or 5 movies every time. take it easy samuel, stop and smell the roses sometimes.

Seeing those 2 (supposed-to-be-romantically-linked?!) co-stars acting “robotically offscreen” and just soo “odd-looking”; I wouldn’t count on them for having an “on-screen chemistry.
Sure is to say that Liman’s directing skills, Samuel, Jamie or even Hayden’s (well he should be!) acting prowess, the storyline & special effects would probably save up the film…

Just a sort of info & somewhat analogy of Bourne Identity & Jumper (if there is / would be?!).
Marie (the supposed to be female lead character) & Jason actually got married & have kids eventually in the book version of Bourne Series. But in the movie version, they twisted the story and have Marie killed off just in the early part of the sequel w/c is in the Bourne Supremacy. And it does not ruin the flow of the story but actually it just made the sequels to have more fire, grittiness and realistic approach. And I do agree w/ @ 23, that Paul Greengrass handled the Bourne sequels so much better than Liman…

Usually I wouldn’t consider…considering watching this kind of movie. But hey, Rachel Bilson, she brings in the babes, and movies like hers’ seem to work out.

There is no third sequel book. Only a prequel book about Jamie’s character, Griffin. Millie (Rachel) doesn’t die in the books.

QUESTION: What is the name of that song in the movie trailer when Rachel Bilson’s character says something like You don’t have to tell me everything, just don’t lie to me…I know the composer for this film is John Powell but I cant find the song.
