OlderOrlando Bloom: Car Crash Victim
Orlando Bloom got into a car accident in Los Angeles last night around 2:15 a.m., according to TMZ.
Orlando, 30, was driving two female friends in a 2003 Toyota Matrix registered to Dariusz Wolski, the director of photography on the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He was apparently cut off by another driver, causing him to crash into a parked Porsche Cayenne.
Riding in the backseat was celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, who suffered a laceration on her head and a fractured neck. No word on who was riding shotgun yet, but she reportedly was cut by her seat belt. Orlando seemed to walk away from the accident unscathed but paid close attention to his friends.
Mr. Bloom got into the accident 15 minutes after leaving “Green Door” nightclub in Hollywood. He was reportedly not driving under the influence.
UPDATE: Orly’s rep just released a statement: “Orlando Bloom, who was in a minor car collision late last night, is grateful that no one was seriously injured. Bloom called for help immediately following the incident. He spent last night at the hospital to be with his childhood friend who sustained a minor neck injury. He is thankful that emergency services arrived so quickly and that the ER staff at Cedars Sinai took such good care of his friend.”

when was the other time he was in a car accident? Was it before he was famous?
I remember he hit a motorcyclist in London because he was changing lanes and didn’t see the motorcyclist and didn’t signal. He offered the cyclist an autograph as consolation. What a douche!
First of all in the video b4 the accident Orlando is trying to calm down the boyfriend of a girl he tried to pick-up not knowing she had a boyfriend there, if you listen you can hear him say to her “Why didn’t you tell me you had a boyfriend ?” It all ends well for them.
If you look at his face after the accident he is totally in shock and not sure what to do when he finally gets it all together again he calls for help and never leaves the side of either of the injured women. So I hope we get our stories straight before we trash him.
One more thing as you have read on some of the posts witnesses have said Orlando was not driving at the time of the accident now whether that was true or not we really don’t know what we do know is that all of his blood test were negative for anything at all so lets all stop jumping to ridiculous conclusions.

Bloom recalls, “We just got loaded on the plane. I mean we were wasted drunk. He (Depp) loves really good red wine. “We get off the plane and they rolled out the red carpet and the Prime Minister of St Vincent was there to meet us. “Johnny stumbles over to him and hugs him… and almost sticks his tongue down his throat, I’m, like, falling around picking up things… Nobody told us. It was just one of those moments.”

Blood tests were negative??? Just curious but where did you find this infomation? As far as I know, It’s a mystery whether they took a blood test from him or not?!?!

I had an accident pretty much of the same caliber two years ago. The guy the hit me wasn’t drunk either and was acting strangely. No one knows the story and this all seems to be a case of everyone believing the paparazzi who are the ones who caused him to wreck in the first place. Need I remind all of you people that they’ve done this crap before? Princess Diana anyone? Get your facts straight before you go around and start calling him an idiot. Sheesh, he’s a human being who reacted in an instinctual way, not thinking logically about the consequences. Just because he walked off, doesn’t mean he didn’t care about his friend since he demanded to ride in the ambulence with her and spent the entire night at the ER with me. Oh yeah, that’s a man who doesn’t give a crap about his friends. Geniuses.
Poor fangirls will defend their precious Orlando to the death. I bet if this happened to Kate Bosworth his ex you’d be calling her a drunk biotch. Your blind loyalty is scary.

Police were searching for the paparazzo to get the other driver’s side of the story. Officer Ana Aguirre said.
Iris the police department released that information very quickly they said they took blood tests at the hospital and everything was negative-no alcohol no drugs. I will say that the LAPD would have loved to have found something on him since they recently have gotten very tough on celebrities.
So can we all just get over it? It was a horrible accident caused again by the papparazzi trying to get pictures.

I’m so confused. Why do people keep saying that he was drunk, when the POLICE said that he wasn’t?
That just seems silly, doesn’t it?
The blonde woman was obviously not wearing a seatbelt to sustain such a severe head injury. What do people expect when they ignore their own safety?
“Victim”? His car is the one in the back. How could he be the vitim?
He was forced into a parked car by another vehicle. People believe that it was an SUV being driven by a pap photographer.
Paparazzi can and DO cause accidents with their celebrity targets. Celebrities can and DO contribute to the problem sometimes. The public contributes by purchasing the tabloids and hitting the sites that get these stories, photos and videos. I’m not pointing fingers. I just think there’s enough personal responsibility to go around in situations such as these.
You CANNOT judge his actions after the crash. Shock would have set in and after such a traumatic event, people don’t act normal. They are confused, disoriented, and sometimes don’t even remember what just happened.
None of us can actually say what really went on that night because none of us were there. Pap videos are nothing to go by because they manipulate the situation, trying to make a juicier story. My belief is that Orlando wasn’t walking away from the car crash (do you really think he’s that stupid to try to flee a scene with that many people standing around?) but he was trying to collect himself and process and understand what just occured.
Just because he got in a car accident, doesn’t mean he was drunk or high. Police have confirmed he wasn’t. Can we just drop that now?
Maybe the paps were in the wrong and did cause the accident,who knows?!?! But he was clearly walking away, no sugarcoating it. The paps didn’t manipulate Orlando by telling him to go back or he may face serious consequence and with a Yeah? and a shrug of the shoulders he turned around and walked back. He left 2 hurt women/one bleeding woman with a fractured neck in the car he was driving to fend for themselves and as much as I like Orlando, I find that despicable, you don’t walk away from injured people you know, to get your thoughts together! It’s funny how the video of him walking away from the scene has been conveniently taken down off of TMZ. Orlando was acting odd earlier in the evening and there are witnesses who say he had been drinking. But that’s just hearsay, so time will time what exactly happened.

I also think that he was in shock.
Why would he flee the scene? It’s not like people wouldn’t know he was there with a whole pack of paps snapping pictures and videotaping him.Running away would serve no purpose.
I’m sure the police and the medics would notice if he was drunk or high. They see it often enough, unfortunately.
Of course the paps “didn’t see” the other pap cut him off.
How convenient.
Other, non-pap witnesses did, though.
And on that pap website, their “eyewitness” openly admits that they didn’t see the accident because they were the fourth car back. Four cars!! At least? Plus the one that cut him off? It’s a miracle that no one was seriously hurt.
And the cops didn’t test him on the scene, because they saw no evidence of inebriation. If they had, they would have given him one, on the spot. The cop in the pics in very close while speaking with Orlando. If there was alcohol on his breath, he would have caught it. Celebs don’t get away with drunk driving anymore. Reuters has reported that he tested clean for alcohol and drugs, so they must have given him a blood test at the hospital. He was never arrested, so he must have volunteered to take the test. To me, that is a good sign that he was innocent.

They have video of him acting weird before and after the accident but not when it happened. funny that.
How is it that they knew where he was at the moment right AFTER the accident???

AND if he was DUI, why didn’t the paps call 911 or help the girls? Why? Better copy this way.
Why did they call him back? Better copy “look WE had to tell him what to do”.
