OlderJulia Roberts Wins Cinematheque Award
Academy Award winner Julia Roberts (in Diane von Furstenberg) picks up the 22nd Annual American Cinematheque Award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s International Ballroom on Friday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Denzel Washington presented his The Pelican Brief co-star with the award during the annual benefit gala.
“The American Cinematheque is extremely pleased to honor Julia Roberts at our celebration this year,” said Rick Nicita, Chairman of the Board of the American Cinematheque. “Julia Roberts is a true movie star who has delighted audiences and critics in so many pictures, from her first screen appearance in Mystic Pizza through mega-hits like Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride to her Academy Award-winning performance in Erin Brockovich and many, many more. Moviegoers are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the career of this beloved actress and we are looking forward to thanking her for all that she’s already given us.”
Last year, Julia presented the award to pal George Clooney. Al Pacino won in 2005 and Steve Martin in 2004.

Ugly smile.
All of the people on her who call Julia and Angelina homewreckers are absolutely retarded. First of all none of you know what state Danny Moder’s or Brad Pitt’s marriage was in when they met and who the hell are you to judge? I’m not saying that I agree with cheating because I definitely do not, but none of us have the right to judge a marriage that we are not involved in. Besides, if anything “immoral” happened, it was the men breaking their vows, not the women. Yes the women should not have participated, but you people need to stop with the patriarchal mentality that still blames Eve for tempting Adam. Men have brains themselves and they can use them anytime they want to.

Julia obviously stole Danny Moder from his ex-wife but in Angelina case, Was there a prove ? Aniston best pal Cox said Brad didn’t cheat in the infamous VF interview, Brad in his recent interview said he persued Angie after his marriage ended, Angie said she will never sleep with a married man. and I believed them rather what the tabloids reported.

What the hell are you talking about?? My mother divorced two times, but I don’t consider myself a victim! That’s only YOUR MOTHER’S FAULT - she must have thought earlier - what kind of man she marries. It’s not a very complicated thing to do - you must analyse and make right choices. That’s it. But mainly the women prefer to get married without thinking.And then they pay - for not thinking when was the right time to think.
As for Brad and Angelina - don’ be so shallow. The home without kids - no home to wreck. “Honesty is the hardest thing to grasp” - that what Brad Pitt said. He was honest - Anistont wasn’t. She cheated on him all the time - promising kids. SHE CHEATED, NOT HIM. So finally after 4 years that was enough for him. HE DESRVES the happiness that he has.
