OlderJulia Roberts Wins Cinematheque Award
Academy Award winner Julia Roberts (in Diane von Furstenberg) picks up the 22nd Annual American Cinematheque Award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s International Ballroom on Friday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Denzel Washington presented his The Pelican Brief co-star with the award during the annual benefit gala.
“The American Cinematheque is extremely pleased to honor Julia Roberts at our celebration this year,” said Rick Nicita, Chairman of the Board of the American Cinematheque. “Julia Roberts is a true movie star who has delighted audiences and critics in so many pictures, from her first screen appearance in Mystic Pizza through mega-hits like Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride to her Academy Award-winning performance in Erin Brockovich and many, many more. Moviegoers are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the career of this beloved actress and we are looking forward to thanking her for all that she’s already given us.”
Last year, Julia presented the award to pal George Clooney. Al Pacino won in 2005 and Steve Martin in 2004.

She looks so beautiful and radiant. She is a true movie star. No one can hold a candle to her. Her charm and charisma is off the charts. She is my favorite actress by far. I love all her movies. I hope and I know there will be many more to come. Congrats Julia, on your well deserved award.

Is there a rule that after filing for divorce , the husband should not date after his ex wife start dating ? beside Aniston was already banging Vince 5 months after filing separation. talking od morals .

There is no rule but Brad could have RESPECTED the 7 years he shared with Jennifer and waited until AFTER HIS DIVORCE WAS FINAL to parade around with new lady and her children. Instead, he did that infamous W shoot, traveled around the world with Angelina,and got her pregnant, all while THE DIVORCE WAS NOT FINALIZED. 4 SHAME on Brad, and Angelina for even allowing a married man to pursue her.

Jennifer Aniston was dating and sleeping with Vince even before the divorce was legally finalized on October. she didn’t get pregnant because she never want one anyway. If Brad should wait, then Ms Aniston should also wait before those PDA with Vince . Didn’t those pictures of cuddling ,smooching, necking with Vince came out on May or June 2005. STOP ALL THOSE BIASED, BORING DOUBLE STANDARD. MOVE ON. iT’S NOT YOUR MARRIAGE, sometime a marriage just don’t work !
If they love each other and mean for each other, Both will tried to make it work no matter what. It would not be only one compromising while the other keep focusing on her career and herself. Beside after three years, they both got what they really want in life, Brad, family, kids, charity work and stability. And Jen , her millions, CCox, movie career and maintainining her shallow HW life style. I don’t think Ms Aniston would agree with 6-7 kids, I don’t think she would appreciate the humanitarian work of Brad or accompanied Brad to Africa for his One project.
