Jennifer Garner Joins Cyrano de Bergerac
Jennifer Garner (in Dolce & Gabbana) joins Daniel Sunjata (red track jacket) and other cast mates at the after-party for the Broadway revival of Cyrano de Bergerac in NYC on Friday.
Previews for the play started on Friday for the classic romantic comedy but obviously, the production is still in its early stages. Cyrano de Bergerac officially opens Nov. 1.
Sunjata is a Tony Award nominee from Take Me Out (the Richard Greenberg play which deals with homosexuality in baseball.

I must say that she looks so much better with 1000 tons of make-up on and this is how she looks if she does her make-up and styling by herself!She´s looking like a horse!

I never see Ben with her anywhere. She opened her movie last month by herself, I never saw him on the Red Carpet with her. Her career seems to be going pretty well while his is on shakey ground. He said himself that if his movie Gone, Baby, Gone doesn’t do well he’s toast. I hope their marriage doesn’t founder like Reese’s did when she was so much more popular than Ryan.

This was obviously a picture just with those in the play–although the most famous one, Kevin Kline seems to be missing. He is still in it though. Chris Sarandon has a supporting role he hasn’t taken over from Kevin Kline. this blog has some of the dumbest people around I must say.

Jlo look a billion times better than Garner on any day any time, you must be kidding if you say otherwise.
Affleck knows that Garner was a downgrade and he looks miserable after Jlo. I dont see gone baby gone doing exceptionally well. It will be okay but not major enough for a blockbuster success, Americans are tired of such regurgitated movies.
Ben was there. Pictures where posted on other sites showing Ben arriving at the theater. These are just cast photos.
This was just a review. I’m sure Victor and her other friends will be there on opening night.
As far as Ben not being there for the premiere of The Kingdom….He has been doing his own promotions for Gone Baby Gone. I think it is telling though that he did make a point to show up for the review of the play friday night. This has been a dream of Jen’s for many years to be on Broadway, much more important then a movie premiere. And he was there……

Who ever said Garner looks better than Jlo is crazy, Jlo cleans the floor with Jennifer Garner everytime she goes outside. She can wear a paperbag and look slamming…even on a bad day Jlo is better looking than Garner. Jennifer Garner tries very hard but she has no sex appeal like Jlo…JG is so creepy she looks like a lizard.

I think Jen Garner is way better looking than J Lo! J Lo looks good only when she has about 12 inches of makeup on or is airbrushed otherwise she’s looking like a crone! Plus Jen Garner has a naturalness about her that J Lo couldn’t ever pull off even if she was a good actress (which sadly she’s not). Jen Garner at least tries to stay like a normal person while J Lo has people who don’t just do her face makeup with her at all times, but people who put body makeup on her no matter where she is.
Saw it today. Daniel Sunjata is a REVELATION. So talented and sooooo gorgeous. Every time he took the stage today, all heads followed his every step and all ears bent to catch his every word. At least mine did! He was my hands down favorite. TONY FOR HIM!!!!

Kevin Kline did superbly as usual, I can’t say anything good in the performance given by Jennifer. Her lines only seemed memorized and her theatrical gestures done over the top, She only delivered the lines with the same tempo with only the mechanical memory, there was no change of levels and the delivery,the same with every breath. Her words seemed robotic and with improper innunciation and having trouble carrying her voice. In each line before the sentence were complete she would drop to a lower pitch as though trying to speak in baritone. She had a habit of an amateur actor on stage where you breath with a sigh even before delivering the lines. Many times she delivered the lines before delivering her blocking. eg: saying,”you are with fever” even before touching cyrano’s forhead. It pained me to watch her performance. Kevin and the rest of the actors delivered well , saving the play.
Daniel Sunjata is a father of two beautiful grown daughters. He is also a grandfather as well. He has a beautiful grand daughter.
