OlderAndy Baldwin Finishes Fifth Ironman
Bachelor hunk Andy Baldwin completes the Ford Ironman World Championships, on Saturday in Kona, Hawaii with a time of 10 hours and 17 minutes. This is is fifth time completing an Ironman in six years.
On Thursday, Andy dropped by the local YMCA to talk to kids about the the Ironman competition. Earlier in the day, he participated in an underwear run. Yes, just underwear!
Internet reports have been swirling around that Andy will be deployed to Iraq on January 1st. That date has actually moved up by a month! The U.S. Navy Lt. will be leave for Iraq on December 1st.
Here are Andy’s times for the Ironman:
Swim: 59 minutes (2.4 miles)
Bike: 5:23:53 (112 miles)
Run: 3:48:23 (26.2 miles)
Finish: 10:17:08 (140.6 miles)
Position: 453 out of 1,685 participants who finished (1,787 triathletes began the race)

After reading the posts by Steve I have to say:
I don’t think Andy “messed up big time”. So what if he likes publicity there is nothing wrong with that. If he is constantly having to apologize and “kiss up” to Tessa – how exhausting and humiliating! I think Andy needs to find someone who likes the limelight as much as he does. Tessa needs to find a man who values privacy like she does. IMO it is both time for them to move on and let go of this emotionally draining relationship.

I also think– that if this is indeed what happened and that you know tessa– it is not entirely andys fault… so what he likes to be in the limelight– that is a part of his personality, which differs from tessas need for privacy… neither one is bad and maybe its not who is at fault but just in the end these two were not as compatible as originally thought… these things happen… its not as though andy were out cheating on her– he just liked being famous.. big deal… why does he have to succumb to all of tessa needs and desires… what about his… give me a break… she is not a royal princess and he is not out to do everything she demands and wishes.. please
to all those who says that andy was not cheeting on tessa .. i have news for you .. cheeting is doing something that you know will hurt the person that you are in a relationship with .. and that is exactly what andy did when he was getting all cozy with that ****** miss iran .. and now he is posting messages on bevin’s my space . i respected bevin up until she added andy as a friend in her myspace.. the gal has no self respect and no respect for her present boyfrined ..i think andy and bevin deserve eachother .. they are both shallow … TESSA IS A GEM AND SHE DESERVE MUCH BETTER .. all of you who says tessa sheould find a man who likes privacy … i agree with you coz i dont think andy can change .. he likes to be a trashy model who will do anything to be in the limelight ..but he will never find a woman with a personlity that shines like tessa ..

ITA with your comments and suggestions to Andy regarding his past actions and remedial action to take. He really blew it with Tessa, knowing full well that she is a very private person but still going full-speed ahead with any and all photo ops with absolutely no thought of Tessa and how it would affect her. He’s got to learn to keep his big paws to himself when he’s with ex girlfriends or any “long time female friend” - it was shocking & disgusting to see the pictures of him & Miss Iran together just a day after he had been with Tessa. I’m sure Tessa sure didn’t feel good about it but being the great lady that she is, we have heard absolutely nothing from her. Tessa is a sophisticated and mature young lady; let’s hope Andy takes a long honest look at himself…he’s a good person but he needs to think before he acts at times.
Andy chose a woman with grace and elegance, one who could make him laugh and also join him in his athletic pursuits. It’s just a shame that although they seemed like a perfect match, they are not. While Tessa wants a private life, Andy prefers life in the media.
If Andy truly loves Tessa and wants her back, he certainly needs to rethink his priorities. If he realizes while on deployment that he wants Tessa enough to put aside all the hoopla, it may well be too late by the time he returns. The time to make a move is NOW.
In any case, wish them both the best.
Has anyone considered that they broke up because they just didn’t love each other? What’s all this “send dozens of roses each day” nonsense? It’s time for them to both move on.
I hope you can publish an update on how Tessa Horst are doing lately. I know, its such a waste breaking up but I am sure Tessa realized that limelight is not her dream but finding the right person for her. She deserve to be happy….
