She shares about possibly moving to New York City and wanting to be Oprah! Here are some highlights from the issue, which hits newsstands October 23:
On how she would like this story to begin: “I’m ba-ack.”
On her previous movie roles as a checkout chick in The Good Girl and a broke, pot-smoking maid in Friends with Money: “I like those roles. I feel comfortable with them. They’re more real. People can say, ‘Oh, I have relatives like that, I dated a guy like that, or I have a friend like that.’ They’re relatable.”
On what the public says about her: “I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought. But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinized and my personal life was being talked about. You have to go, ‘This is not acceptable in any way,’ whether it’s about me personally or in business, success versus failure. It’s so negative. It’s such bizarre negativity.”
On living a day as someone else: “I would love to be Oprah – for just one day.”
If she worked in the government: “I’d be a spy. A very glamorous spy who plays poker and lives in Monaco. And has affairs with Daniel Craig.”
On a possible move to New York: “I can actually visualize it again, for some reason. I don’t know, I’m just tired of Los Angeles. In New York, you’re not just in that same car, looking at that same dashboard, driving down the same street.”
On walking 40 blocks in New York and nobody noticing her: “If you can get away from the paparazzi and they don’t know where you are, you can actually walk, walk, walk.”
On critiques of her box-office performance: “I’ve read things that said I wasn’t successful at the box office or that my big hit was The Break-Up. But I said, ‘Wait a minute. There was Along Came Polly, which did really well, and Bruce Almighty was a pretty big movie.’ But they’ll single out Derailed or Rumor Has It, movies that didn’t do well, in order to support their agenda.”
On Friends: “I don’t think anybody thought Friends would become what it did. It’s all good, though. It’s nothing but blessings. But seriously, who actually dances in a fountain?”

I wish someone look back at all her interviews and post quotes to show this chick talks out of both sides of her mouth and has serious issues. Jennifer may be “beautiful” for some, I think she uglier on th inside. Does this woman ever accept responsibilty for her failures? Is she ever wrong? I have not read one interview were she places blame. This chick live in the world you and I do and she actually beleives they hype.
Along Came Polly & Bruce Almighty success was because of Jim Carey and Ben Stiller. Yet she honestly beleives she had something to do with it.
The Break UP was Vince Vaughns movie, yes it did well because she used her personal life as a promotional tool.

It amazes me how she likes to erase her behavior after her divorce. The tabloids have always talked about her life, however she and her friends must have forgotten about the “infamous Vanity Interview” “The GQ Man Of the Year” Elle , Oprah etc. Aniston was participating right along with everyone else. Did she think taking a two year break would somehow make peeps forget she shares some of blame.
I wish I could interview her or a journalist would actually have the balls to confront her on some of the things she is selling.

In In Style she was suppose to be on the way to starting a family and travel?
What part did she play in the breakup of her own marriage?
Did she not already say publically that she was leaving La, Why has she not left yet?

Jen is inspiring? What exactly does she inspire you to do? Blow dry your hair? Lay on the beach morning? Lay on your yoga mat all afternoon? Tag along after your closest friends like a third wheel in their marriage?
The above sums up the total of her interests and her daily activities. If your level of expectation for yourself is so low that this is what “inspires” you, you have some serious problems.

Those other actresses out there have something Aniston is lacking in; i.e., talent. They also have a screen presence she doesn’t have. She may be good for sitcoms, but her range is so limited that sitcoms are about all she can act in, and she is rapidly reaching the age where those kind of roles will be denied her.

I’ve seen some nasty posts on both sides, but nothing to equal the hate and spite coming from the Aniston fans who called Maddox and Pax “mud children”, hoped Z would expire from AIDS, and wished Shiloh would be born ugly, retarded or dead. Now….honestly, what sense does that even make, she’s not the first woman to get divorced and she won’t be the last. She didn’t have take care of her children while working 2-3 odd jobs. I remember the magazine came out the same time Christopher Reeves’ wife found out she had cancer….and this it was not long after she buried her husband (whom she took great care of after the accident that left him in a wheel chair). I heard her speak and saw how peaceful she was, she said her only focus was preparing her son for her death. She was sad that he’d lose his parents so close to each other but she thought making her last days with him memorable might ease his pain a little. Now THAT is a profile in courage, not a 30 something milloinaire going through a divorce. This was also the period Jerri Neilson, who was stranded in Antarctica, had to perform a biopsy on herself when she found a lump in her breast….yet she wasn’t given a profile in courage, nope it was given to an actress who got divorced.
Seriously, how is she not embarrassed by the attention she gets over a divorce? Is she ever offended when people ask her “So how are you doing?” like she lost her parents, her children and her husband in one day (and I actually know someone that has happned to…is she carrying herself like a victim? NO) I wonder if she ever gets angry that people think so little of her, they believe she can’t survive something women younger than her, women with less money and more children and debts, have survived. How does she feel when people treat her like a child? How did she not have a problem receiving awards for surviving what thousands of women have gone through and 10 thousand more will go through. Goodness!
I guess in the end, all of these only goes to show what a wonderful catch everyone one KNOWS Brad Pitt is. Think about it, a woman is profiled for her courage because he left her. She is deemed unsinkable because she survived a break up (well barely survived it…..since almost 3yrs after the fact, she’s still being asked how she is coping) from him. She is awarded the honorable title “Man of the year” because she made it through a divorce from him. Oh my…what a man, what a man, what a mighty fine man Brad Pitt is.

I feel sorry for her. It takes two to break up a marriage, it is never just one person’s responsibility. Either way, it’s hard enough to get divorced but to have the whole world watching you AND judging you? A nightmare. I believe Jennifer loved him, her eyes were always shining when she looked at him. Now she has lost him and has to see him with a gorgeous woman, new kids every year and them looking so in love and happy every minute. It’s enough to rip your heart out and she has to see it in the press every single day.

If she had loved him, really loved him not his movie star persona they would have had children, one way or another. Brad said over and over he wanted a family like he grew up in, and he wanted that family to include children. He even voiced his frustration in an interview saying that they had practiced enough when asked about kids. She was not listening to him, she ignored him, she would not compromise, she took him for granted because she clearly wanted a career more than she wanted to be married to him, and after a while Brad realized that he was never to be a dad if he stayed married to her. No matter what he says, lack of children was the final nail in their marriage failure. Their marriage failed due to no meeting of their minds over what they wanted out of marriage. This happens all the time. Brad was getting older and the longing to have a family with children grew stronger. She could have adopted kids with him if she had been listening to him and he would have been happy to do so, but as she has said adoption is not for her. Wonder how that makes her friend SCrow feel. I feel no pity for her, she made her choice and she has to live with it. That marriage was in trouble almost from the beginning and if one ever read interviews given by both over the years that was obvious. JA’s dad even remarked how reluctant Brad was to get married. They were better off as “friends” because neither appeared to make clear their expectations as to what marriage meant to them before they married.
Brad does look extremely happy and very much in love with Angelina and their kids. They have made the choice to put their family life first, they agree on the major things in their lives, both have learned to compromise. Angelina clearly makes Brad (and their kids) the #1 priority in her life, her career is not first on her list. Maybe because Angelina has had career success and knows that an Oscar does not keep you warm at night or hold and soothe you when you are crying, JA did not understand those basic truths to her detriment.

My two cents worth. I think the title of America’s Sweetheart is vested on a female movie star who stars in romantic comedies and looks like the girl next door. Julia Roberts, since Pretty Woman, alongside Meg Ryan, since Sleepless in Seattle, were somewhat AS side by side, as long as they did romantic comedies. Julia stepped out of the mold when she did Erin Brockovich, and Meg Ryan also really tried to step out of it (Proof of Life) but wasn’t as successful. She kind of lost the title when she got older. In stepped Jennifer Aniston, who was everybody’s golden girl when she was attached to the A-Lister that is Brad, and she was in a successful TV sitcom, and appeared in romcoms that were not as successful as JR’s or MR’s but nevertheless kept her in the limelight (Object of My Affection, Picture Perfect), and then really hit it with the big pictures opposite huge megastars Jim Carrey and Ben Stiller.
Now, the label seems to be more and more attached to Reese Witherspoon by virtue of her wholesome good looks, and Drew Barrymore, because of her romcoms. These are younger women (in their early 30s). No one is really calling Jennifer AS anymore, since she is getting up there in years, but in people’s minds sometimes the labels get stuck and it takes them a while to realize that.
She never went away that is the problem.
We have been seeing her in a barely there bikini and doing interviews with self magazine and here she is claiming to have gone away. She was always here,, please am baack,,, back from where?
She needs to shut up, why is she having an interview when she has no movie to promote. She is not even the lead in the ones she is shooting right now and has already started yapping away. Anyone seen Scarlet Jo giving inteviews of upcoming projects or Drew Barrymore? Nope.
When the great Michael Jordan said in March 1995 “I’m back!”, it really meant something to the basketball fans because he was away for almost two years from the game. But when Aniston says “I’m ba-ack!” it really means nothing because she was never really away. After TBU she was still in the news because of the are-they-or-aren’t-they stories about her and VV, and then after that was totally milked, there was the airport incident, the hanging out with the Arquettes, then Paul Sculfor. So she was never gone. Or maybe she meant that in the filming sense, because she did TBU in summer of 2005, and did not film again (unless you count Courteney Cox’s Dirt) until September of 2007.

I have lurked on the board for almost six months and even though I’ve read many comments I though were unfair, I refused to sign up…that is until now. I have read many people make excuses for Jennifer Aniston and I know it’s their prerogative but please… Aniston is the architect of whatever is happening to her. First, I don not believe Vince and Jen were ever in a relationship…it was all for PR. And as for this break up…I think it’s funny how Huvane is trying to spin it. The Emphasis that they decided to break up after London Trip….Jebus, they most really think we’re dumb. Now imagine my surprise when I was watching Access Hollywood and they stated that Vince and Jen broke up because Jen was too busy with her CHARITY work. Are you KIDDING ME?!! The woman hosts dinner, wear a stupid t-shirt and appears on TV for like two minutes with a child she seemed uneasy hugging and that constitutes Charity work? MFG, what or who won’t she blame for the misery that’s her life.

She gambled and she lost BIG TIME and that’s all there is to it. She literally opened the door for inquiries into her life, why does she feel the need to refute rumors? I’ll tell you why, she is too INSECURE to let things slide. God forbid people think Jen gained weight or God forbid people think she and Vince are no more. We can’t allow that coz Jen will not sleep at night. Her innate need to be seen in a good light is the reason she is in this predicament.
Oh all of a sudden, everybody hates Jen. Helloooo, until recently, every third post on every site or entertainment show was a negative story about Brad and Angie. They had their polls….who will last longer? Who is the better couple? Who is the better man? Who is the better actress? Who is the cutest couple….and every single poll, Jen and Vince won. They were catering to the delusional Jen fans and now they’ve turned on Jen, y’all are complaining.
And for the last time, Jen was with Vince before the divorce was final. The fact that she didn’t get pregnant does not make it any different. If Brad committed Adultery, so did Jen. Jen fans think the rules don’t apply here. Of course the whole thing is a moot point because they were SEPERATED. Seperation is the first step to divorce. If couples waited until divorce was final before moving on with their lives, god knows where we’ll all be. Denise and Charlie just concluded their divorce and they’ve been dating other people. Let’s not forget Heather and Richie or Hilary Swank and Rob Lowe. Stop making excuses for Jen, she is a grown woman.
One last question for y’all, What was Huvane THINKING mailing Perez? He has not only admitted they READ blogs, he’s also admitted they CARE what an ordinary blogger writes. What is their excuse this time? After all, Perez is NOT CNN crawl? Pathetic!!! Bet she is hunched over her laptop reading all the comments about her and then calling Huvane, screaming “do something, do something. He called me Chinochio Maniston”. An untrained monkey will do a better job than the crap Huvane is doing with his clients. Gwyneth Paltrow (Ms. Americans are dumb) Demi Moore (Ms. Robinson), Kirsten Dunst (will give Barney from The Simpson a run for his money, drinking wise). At least these three do have talents, maybe if he stopped wasting time on the TV girl with delusions of grandeur, he could do more with the others.

Jen Fans have excused her lies by saying she is paranoid, she does not know how to behave because everyone is watching her. Aniston’s paranoia is her own doing. I feel sorry for her. It takes two to break up a marriage, it is never just one person’s responsibility. Either way, it’s hard enough to get divorced but to have the whole world watching you AND judging you? A nightmare. I believe Jennifer loved him, her eyes were always shining when she looked at him. Now she has lost him and has to see him with a gorgeous woman, new kids every year and them looking so in love and happy every minute. It’s enough to rip your heart out and she has to see it in the press every single day.

If she had loved him, really loved him not his movie star persona they would have had children, one way or another. Brad said over and over he wanted a family like he grew up in, and he wanted that family to include children. He even voiced his frustration in an interview saying that they had practiced enough when asked about kids. She was not listening to him, she ignored him, she would not compromise, she took him for granted because she clearly wanted a career more than she wanted to be married to him, and after a while Brad realized that he was never to be a dad if he stayed married to her. No matter what he says, lack of children was the final nail in their marriage failure. Their marriage failed due to no meeting of their minds over what they wanted out of marriage. This happens all the time. Brad was getting older and the longing to have a family with children grew stronger. She could have adopted kids with him if she had been listening to him and he would have been happy to do so, but as she has said adoption is not for her. Wonder how that makes her friend SCrow feel. I feel no pity for her, she made her choice and she has to live with it. That marriage was in trouble almost from the beginning and if one ever read interviews given by both over the years that was obvious. JA’s dad even remarked how reluctant Brad was to get married. They were better off as “friends” because neither appeared to make clear their expectations as to what marriage meant to them before they married.
Brad does look extremely happy and very much in love with Angelina and their kids. They have made the choice to put their family life first, they agree on the major things in their lives, both have learned to compromise. Angelina clearly makes Brad (and their kids) the #1 priority in her life, her career is not first on her list. Maybe because Angelina has had career success and knows that an Oscar does not keep you warm at night or hold and soothe you when you are crying, JA did not understand those basic truths to her detriment.

you know what i think the problem with jen was, she knew brad is a good guy, she knew when he married her he went into it wholeheartedly
