She shares about possibly moving to New York City and wanting to be Oprah! Here are some highlights from the issue, which hits newsstands October 23:
On how she would like this story to begin: “I’m ba-ack.”
On her previous movie roles as a checkout chick in The Good Girl and a broke, pot-smoking maid in Friends with Money: “I like those roles. I feel comfortable with them. They’re more real. People can say, ‘Oh, I have relatives like that, I dated a guy like that, or I have a friend like that.’ They’re relatable.”
On what the public says about her: “I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought. But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinized and my personal life was being talked about. You have to go, ‘This is not acceptable in any way,’ whether it’s about me personally or in business, success versus failure. It’s so negative. It’s such bizarre negativity.”
On living a day as someone else: “I would love to be Oprah – for just one day.”
If she worked in the government: “I’d be a spy. A very glamorous spy who plays poker and lives in Monaco. And has affairs with Daniel Craig.”
On a possible move to New York: “I can actually visualize it again, for some reason. I don’t know, I’m just tired of Los Angeles. In New York, you’re not just in that same car, looking at that same dashboard, driving down the same street.”
On walking 40 blocks in New York and nobody noticing her: “If you can get away from the paparazzi and they don’t know where you are, you can actually walk, walk, walk.”
On critiques of her box-office performance: “I’ve read things that said I wasn’t successful at the box office or that my big hit was The Break-Up. But I said, ‘Wait a minute. There was Along Came Polly, which did really well, and Bruce Almighty was a pretty big movie.’ But they’ll single out Derailed or Rumor Has It, movies that didn’t do well, in order to support their agenda.”
On Friends: “I don’t think anybody thought Friends would become what it did. It’s all good, though. It’s nothing but blessings. But seriously, who actually dances in a fountain?”

I think Brad loved Jennifer with all his heart. It was a real and genuine romance. Brad often talked about how much he loved her and showed a lot of affection in public. But Jennifer had so many insecurities about her looks, non-movie star status, and her relationship difficulties with her own mom - who appearently always critisized her daughter’s looks through the critical teen years, that at the end it destroyed their marriage. I think there were problems in the marriage, but Angelina Jolie did not help the matter either. Brad saw a very different kind a woman in Jolie- one who is not afraid of life or taking risks- who was already a movie star and the child of a movie star. I think Brad and Angelina are more equals than Brad and Jennifer were.

You’re feeding into Aniston’s inability to accept any responsibility for her own failures. Everything is somebody else’s fault: Angelina’s, Brad’s, etc. etc. Now it’s her mother’s fault?! We’re talking about a GROWN WOMAN here! Maybe mom was a bítch, but by the time she got into her 30’s, Aniston should have been over mom. Her failures are her own, not her mother’s or anyone else’s. And until she realizes this and accepts it, all her subsequent relationships are doomed to failure as well.

You are a rare regular JP fan who comes to this thread to post about Jen on a six week long, almost-forgotten thread. I can’t read you. I wouldn’t say you are as obsessed as Cliniqua, but you sure do have a strange fascination with JA. I also commend you on not beeing afraid of expressing your displeasure about the JP’s constant travels and its effect on the kids. You are a brave one.

Aniston & Vaughn Caught Up in Police Stop
Hollywood couple Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn escaped legal trouble in Arizona on Tuesday after police pulled them over and noticed an “odor of alcohol” in the car they were driving. According to police in Scottsdale, Arizona pulled the couple over for a “minor traffic infraction” and then advised driver Vaughn not to get back behind the wheel after checking their blood alcohol levels in a field sobriety test.
Sgt. Mark Clark of the Scottsdale Police Department confirms officers did stop the couple and perform a breathalyzer tests, but allowed the couple to drive off with friends after warning Vaughn and Aniston not to drive. The couple left their car on the side of the road. A police spokesman insists the officer who stopped the couple did not have probable cause to arrest Vaughn or Aniston.
Aniston and Vaughn were in Scottsdale after spending the Thanksgiving Weekend at exclusive spa resort The Sanctuary, rates began at 2,000 a night.

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn’s romance is sizzling after the Swingers took the actress home to meet his folks.
The Derailed star flew from a magazine shoot in Mexico to join Vaughn is his native Chicago, Illinois, on October 11, where the couple were spotted enjoying each other’s company in the actor’s favorite haunts, including the Holiday Club bar and Gibson’s restaurant, where locals spotted them “kissing and making out”.
Local photographers then caught the couple kissing, cuddling and strolling around Lake Forest where Vince grew up, and dining with Vaughn’s mother and stepfather. The couple, who became close after meeting on the set of new film The Break-Up, rounded off their romantic rendezvous in Chicago on Saturday, when they were spotted enjoying breakfast and cuddling close together on Aniston’s hotel balcony.

I am? Actually, I don’t remember expressing displeasure of any kind. Could you locate the post where you think I did?
What I did say was that the “therapist” who wrote the article that the JP kids were being damaged by their constant traveling was way out of line. First of all, she’s not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, she’s a social worker. Secondly, she has not met the children and has never treated the children, so it is just plain unprofessional for her to generalize about four kids she doesn’t know from Adam. I don’t know if the children are being harmed or not and I’m not about to go out on a limb and make an uninformed statement one way or the other. What I do see is that they appear to be very much loved and cared for and they seem to be happy children, and that, for me, is the bottom line.
What “fascinates” me about Aniston, as much as it repulses me, is her inability to grow up and act like an adult. Everything that happens to her is somebody else’s fault. If her movie tanked, it’s the producer’s fault. If her man dumped her, it’s the other woman’s fault. If she’s depressed, it’s her friend’s fault because she won’t drop everything and run to keep her company. Everybody is to blame but herself. I’m really curious as to where she is going to be five years down the line. For me, Aniston is a train wreck — you know you shouldn’t watch it, but it’s hard not to.

Aniston is a FRAUD is such an apt description of her. Proof? Look at the latest photos of her. While shooting in Gergia (if the papz are really interested in her they would have followed her there), nada a glimpse of her. Prior to that there were photos of her smiling and pretty friendly with the papz. But the recent photos of her (dinner at what else, the Cox-Arquettes) she’s hiding her face while getting into the car in her rented Malibu house enroute to Cox. Then she does the same MO at the Cox dinner….she’s neurotic.

Jen Aniston is a very pretty woman, not a classic beauty, nevertheless, she is quite attractive. There is something different in her facial expressions. Maybe it’s just an illusion. I was actually intrigue by the new “expression”, so I watched Friends reruns. There is definitely a change ! Her nose is somewhat pointed, and her cheeks are more prominent. Cosmetic nip tuck ? Maybe, but who cares ? I dont see anything wrong with that. Heck, she got money ? Didnt she get 100 million from her divorced ? If that gives her confidence, then I say, go for it!

As an actor, I am a fan of Rachel, and JA does play the part so well. When I think of JA, I see Rachel - the entire persona. I have to admit that her acting ability is limited to “Rachel”, and does not extend to other roles. Maybe she picked the wrong roles, or project, but really, she can’t seem to carry a lead role, and she’s far more effective in an ensemble. Case in point - her movies all stunk. I was very curious to see her in another role, so I went to see Derailed. Honestly, I wanted er to succeed. To show that she has move on, and revenge against Brad who ? I was expecting a sold out crowd, but there were only 2 people in the theater - my friend and me. The movie stank like hell, and boy - her acting was simply atrocious. JA mentioned Breaking Up, as an exception, but really, the time of the release, the hype of her divorced and her “revenge romance with that guy [sorry, but I forgot his name, anyway someone had posted his name] triggered much of the curiosity. Without these events, I confessed, I would have not seen the movie.

As to her love life - her married life with Brad Pitt was heralded as solid. I believed that to some extent. Pitt after 5 years and 44 years old wanted a family. JA at 37 wanted to pursue an A-list movie career. I believed that the marriage start to deteriorate after it’s 3rd year, and slowly broke down even before Pitt met that “other woman with the famous lips. JA opted for the A-list. I dont blame her one bit for that. Many women have to choose between a career and family/motherhood. That seems unfair. Unfortunately, A-list dream was not meant to be. Some say that her short stance as an A-list was just an illusion, simply because, she was married to the sexiest and most sought for actor these days. In other words, she got swept by his coattail. That could be true. I say that because her movies stank after the divorce, and her acting was just so pathetic. Without Brad, she was just another Jen.

The “other woman with beautiful lips” - was the recipient of JA’s anger and bitterness. The divorce and busted A-list made JA so bitter. Her confidence was all gone. What is life without the most gorgeous and sexiest man in the world. Where is Brad ? - in the arms of the “other woman with beautiful lips”. I heard she can act too, named as the sexiest woman twice, and an A-Lister as well. JA will never admit any fault, nor will admit her role in the break up of her marriage. That “other woman with beautiful lips” - it’s all her fault. And here is the most bitter part - Brad’s dream has finally been realized - the “other sexiest woman, with 4 children - a family !

And who is the other woman with the most beautiful lips ? - She is also the world most recognized humanitarian, a member of the world most elite club - Foreign Relation. She stand besides kings, queens, presidents and world renown leaders. Grant of honorary citizens of many countries because of her humanitarian work in Durfur, Sara Leone, Pakistan, Afhganistan, Iraq, Sudan, and Latin America to mention a few. Of late, she is a contributor/journalist of the Economist - her piece about Durfur and the International Criminal Court was a very intelligent summation of the conditions of war refugees. And oh yea - she can fly a plane too !

In contrast, JA will never be in any place like Durfur etc. JA is a scorn woman. And, nothing more dangerous than a scorn woman. Enough said on that.

In fact brad was not doing very well when he was with aniston. But after being with angie brad dethroned tom and is now the biggest hollywood actor. After 2 years brad and angelina is the most powerful couple around. Brad wasn’t this big when he was with aniston. He was only behind tom cruise. Now tom cruise is far behind brad that is why a lot of tom’s fans hate brangelina.
Aniston had dragged down brad to her stature and i am now happy brad is up there with angie where he belong.
