She shares about possibly moving to New York City and wanting to be Oprah! Here are some highlights from the issue, which hits newsstands October 23:
On how she would like this story to begin: “I’m ba-ack.”
On her previous movie roles as a checkout chick in The Good Girl and a broke, pot-smoking maid in Friends with Money: “I like those roles. I feel comfortable with them. They’re more real. People can say, ‘Oh, I have relatives like that, I dated a guy like that, or I have a friend like that.’ They’re relatable.”
On what the public says about her: “I used to care a hell of a lot more about what people said or thought. But that had to change when my life was under a microscope being scrutinized and my personal life was being talked about. You have to go, ‘This is not acceptable in any way,’ whether it’s about me personally or in business, success versus failure. It’s so negative. It’s such bizarre negativity.”
On living a day as someone else: “I would love to be Oprah – for just one day.”
If she worked in the government: “I’d be a spy. A very glamorous spy who plays poker and lives in Monaco. And has affairs with Daniel Craig.”
On a possible move to New York: “I can actually visualize it again, for some reason. I don’t know, I’m just tired of Los Angeles. In New York, you’re not just in that same car, looking at that same dashboard, driving down the same street.”
On walking 40 blocks in New York and nobody noticing her: “If you can get away from the paparazzi and they don’t know where you are, you can actually walk, walk, walk.”
On critiques of her box-office performance: “I’ve read things that said I wasn’t successful at the box office or that my big hit was The Break-Up. But I said, ‘Wait a minute. There was Along Came Polly, which did really well, and Bruce Almighty was a pretty big movie.’ But they’ll single out Derailed or Rumor Has It, movies that didn’t do well, in order to support their agenda.”
On Friends: “I don’t think anybody thought Friends would become what it did. It’s all good, though. It’s nothing but blessings. But seriously, who actually dances in a fountain?”

to me jenn a. might appear to be real and down-to-earth because she’s not intelligent (her statements are not).

that was the very first time brad had responded to any questioning about his ex, and he more than anyone else had the right to do so. it was his marriage, his divorce. this woman, on the other hand, constantly commented on her divorce in 2005, in magazines, and televion interviews, and whereas brad was kind in his comments, she was far from. she was snide, dishonest, and just plain unpleasant. i have always said, everyone has a conscience,i wonder how she sleeps at night?

her block-busters movies: the male leads carried the movies
she was married to brad pitt: he was on drugs and on the re-bound
she is the #1 selling cover: because people felt sorry for rachel green/ they can’t separate the two and neither can she
try some humility and go to acting classes!!!

Jen Gives Us a Good Snooze

Good, bad, ugly, boring, artistic, racy—we can never get enough of analyzing magazine covers. Unfortunately, Jennifer Aniston’s latest cover and accompanying profile for Harper’s Bazaar happens to fall into the snooze category.
The cover looks could just as easily be another ad for her Smartwater, and the article is anything but revealing. We learn that Jen is over L..A, hates paparazzi following her around, was surprised by Friends’ success and loves playing the “better-looking-than-most everygirl.”
Shocking!
Things do get momentarily interesting in the article’s random questions section, when Jen admits she wouldn’t mind being a dirty-martini-drinking spy named Oprah who doesn’t speak in public and dines with Princess Diana before ravishing Daniel Craig nightly.
But then it’s right back to talk of redecorating and possibly moving to NYC.
Yawn!
If you do want to know more about Jen, you’re better off picking up Star mag, where her bikini waxer dishes, “She’s neurotic about bikini waxes.” (Though it looks like somebody isn’t gonna get any repeat business…)

Jen is inspiring? What exactly does she inspire you to do? Blow dry your hair? Lay on the beach morning? Lay on your yoga mat all afternoon? Tag along after your closest friends like a third wheel in their marriage?
The above sums up the total of her interests and her daily activities. If your level of expectation for yourself is so low that this is what “inspires” you, you have some serious problems.

I do think she could be a great movie star…look at so many other actresses out there!

Those other actresses out there have something Aniston is lacking in; i.e., talent. They also have a screen presence she doesn’t have. She may be good for sitcoms, but her range is so limited that sitcoms are about all she can act in, and she is rapidly reaching the age where those kind of roles will be denied her.
Cate Blanchett, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman she ain’t.
