Thanks for the info Z & V Fan. One of my problems aside from the iffy source was what I thought was a conflict of interest. Meaning that I didn’t see how Vanessa could be a spokesmodel for Skechers AND Echo Red at the same time. But if I understand the information correctly (I don’t speak corporate) that Echo Red is actually a brand of Skechers and therefore there’s no conflict. So yeah I agree this is on the level and good for her.

I think the time away from each other is actually a good thing. If they were hanging out with each other 24/7 then they’d get tired of one another. And i bet after 2 weeks they are missing each other like crazy. I really hope they do something for Zac’s birthday. Something that would involve leaving the house so we could get a pic of them together.

People that are judgemental of her regarding the scandal sound really self-rigteous. Like they’re not sexually active or even sexually curious at all. They make it sound almost like sex is bad with a partner. If that’s your belief, maybe sex before marriage, that’s fine. But don’t call someone a **** or put down their morals when they don’t believe in the same thing you do.

You are so right Go Sox, but I don’t think you appreciate the enormity of…..THE PICTURE!!! I mean who doesn’t remember the momentous day of September 6, 2007 when IT was leaked onto the internet. My friends, we will one day be discussing this in the same tone as we discuss Neil Armstrong walking on moon. Indeed just as some people belive the moon landing was a hoax, there will still be passionate debates over whether the picture was real in bars, the work place, public transportation the world over forty, fifty years from now. You see THE PICTURE is significant because it’s evidence that a teenage girl was once left to her own devices and she made a…
MISTAKE. Yes it was finally proven that teenage girls are indeed human and therefore fallible. It will never and indeed should never be forgotten.

What I know is since Oliver Stone can be considered something of a chronicler of defining events in U.S. History he’s tackled the Kennedy Assisination (”JFK”), the Vietnam War (”Platoon”), Watergate (”Nixon”), and most recently 9/11 (”World Trade Center”). So when is he going to tackle THE PICTURE surely he won’t let something so momentous just pass by.

Troy, I just don’t think that the picture should be made out to be momentous, and certainly not in the same category as JFK, Vietnam, Watergate, or 9/11. Teenage sexuality is not historic. It’s been around forever. This generation, however, has technology like the internet and camera phones, which they use frequently, and has gotten them into lots of trouble. I know….I work with 1300 adolescents. This stuff happens a lot more than you know, and even to good kids! Actually, a pic is not even shocking….you should hear about the other stuff kids do!

Time heals and memories fade. Unfortunate mistakes have happened to other celebrities; it’s a tough lesson to learn, but I think Vanessa will be fine!
