you need to think about the role she is playing. She’s not on Baywatch or making a suring movie, for the love of God.

Angelina has the range to let herself consume the character that she is playing. She is also being directed by the one and only Clint Eastwood. Every actor’s dream, I would imagine.

Charlize Theron’s role in Monster is a great example of how an actor has to let themselves be consumed by a character ~ for the love of God, she’s not shooting a scene in Baywatch…if you read the plot, you would know what her character is supposed to be feeling. I hate to say it - Angelina plays a character in 80% of her movies and Jennifer plays herself 90% in her movies. They both are talented, however since Jen look the same in most of her movies (specially that hair style that drives me crazy is so old) her fan are starting to find her boring. I read some where that during the 20’s and 30’s the ladies use to put corn starch on their faces to controll the shine. They used this is place of powder, as cosmetics were not being massed produced. It also gave the person a whiter look. As tan skinned, for white women, was not a desired look. I love her costumes, and her makeup looks good on her. Last week Angie was going to the UN and taking the children to plays and the museum. I thought they would at least have a read through. But no they are in full production. Clint does work fast. Last week, designer Kenneth Cobonpue (37) a Filipino trained at the New York Pratt Institute, whose unconventional furniture designs made from natural fibres are in hot demand, was in Mumbai to participate in the first Tech-textile India-International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Non-wovens. The seven-time winner of the Hapan Good Design Award talks to Timesofindia.com about his inspirations and penchant for eye-catching designs made from Rattan and materials grown in his native place. Excerpts:

How did Brad Pitt come across your designs?

He is a collector; collects things that are unusual. He likes architecture and is a design fad. He visited our store in LA and bought a few pieces for his house. He bought our ‘Voyage Bed’ for his son. For his house, he bought beds and sofas.

And, how did you make Warner Bros. buy your products?

Their in-house designers were looking for pieces to be used for a casino-scene in the film Ocean’s 13 . They asked for our catalogue showing a plethora of our designs and ended up ordering furniture for some more scenes in the movie.

Are you designing furniture for any other Hollywood films? What about the Indian film industry…our very own Bollywood? Have you been approached by any of our film production houses?

Not yet. But I did see one of my pieces in a paint-ad, on TV.
