Gwyneth Paltrow’s Home in the Hamptons
Here’s a peek into Gwyneth Paltrow new Hamptons home, which she shares with her rocker husband, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and their two children, Apple and Moses.

why is the pool not fenced ? they have a toddler for christ sakes! Doesn’t appear child friendly..

Haven’t some famous people in Malibu gotten in trouble over having toddlers and no pool guard or fence?
Was that BritBrit? I think it was because the paps snapped her boys near the pool from over head and she was there, but walking back toward the house and away from her kids. (Or not, perhaps she watched their reflection as she walked away momentarily.)
But someone raised a stink over there being no fence or guard and her having two little boys near the pool.
Of course, I guess now the question is moot…*sigh*

Boring furnishings& fixtures, bedroom not my tatse,those paintings lacking,kitchen,is nice, the island and stove +shelvings.
Now I feel cheated, she’s making actual $$ for her horrid so called acting, affording this cute space.

I have to agree. It is very boring. There is a way to be fashionably minimalist and this is not. It is a nice house but nothing special. Hope she did not pay the decorator for this job.
So I just clicked the link to the home and garden website and I have a question. Since when did Gwyn become known as “rock and roll” anything? yeah she married a guy in a band, and I don’t really know if Chris Martin would be considered that “rock and roll” and even if he is, that still does not make Gwyneth rock n roll. Kate Moss, Sienna Miller perhaps, even Winona Ryder but not Gwyneth. Before Chris, there was NOTHING rock and roll about her. It makes so mad. She is so bland and elitist. Nothing like Bianca Jagger or other rock chicks of the day. And also, for someone who claims that she is so intensely PRIVATE I love how she opens up her home for everyone to see. Haven’t seen Cate Blanchett or Johnny Depp do something like that. At least they say that they are private and stick to what they say.
it’s a beach house and she wanted it to be serene and cool. I love the fact that it’s a) not shabby chic b)not lace and antiques c) not a typical nouveau riche Hamptons estate. Most importantly, it’s not cluttered. The dining room chandelier is fantastic, so is the foyer. I love the mix of camel-colored chairs and pink plates and the fact that most walls are white or silvery white (though I’m not crazy about wallpaper in general). As to the house not being child friendly.. I don’t decorate around the kids either, never did. They can have their junk in their rooms and I don’t interfere with that, but the rest of the house has to be kept clean (she has help which makes it easy). I can’t stand when people basically let the kids turn their living rooms into playgrounds and you can’t find take a step without tripping over something. I’m sure her kids have a playroom, which was not photographed for the magazine.
It looks like a VERY peaceful retreat. But, yes, for a child, it is not very stimulating…perhaps too simple. Maybe they removed a lot of personal belongings for the photo shoot. Well, I like the pic of her in the living room though, she matches the flowers in that dress and looks prettier than I’ve seen her look in a while.

i might guess the reason for the negativity of previous posters - as gwyneth is an ex of pitt and is friendly with another ex pitt, everyting she does or not does and has or not has is bad, boring, publicity whoring etc. etc.
i mean how could one mean, that these pictures of a very fine, not overcluttered home of a millionair celebrity, where you just realy do not see, that she is millionair, but you see, that this house is more about people than furniture and fashionable art…. are worth saying, that this house looks fine
but i am sure, if we could see a photos of home of brangelina - oh wait, they do not have a real home, where their children actually can play on any carpet - dont mind white carpet - we just need to see the advertising prospects of every other hotel around the world, and i am sure, these hard critics, would find every hotel room, brangelina spents time in, as a realy wonderfull, fashionable, homely and not boring and wordly or true american family home…..

at least gwyneth is settled down with her husband and children, so they can enjoy stable home, children have their own rooms, which will last for more than few days or weeks

I supposed Weisz and Beckinsale have their American husbands on leashes.

I think the house is very stylish and modern. Wouldn’t mind to have one like this :) Gwyneth has a good taste (or her interior designer anyway)

Nope, not my cup of tea at all; especially the child room. Gosh, my daughther will take only five minutes to make this room look like a normal kid’s room.
The kids might not live there until the 10 of age.

How has she used her kids? As far as I know, they donated their proceeds from the pics of the kids to charity.
And Lora, she doesn’t want her relaitonship to be speculated on because they don’t want to be photographed all the time and speculated about like Brad and Jen, Nick And Jessica, Reese and Ryan, and every other celeb couple that the media killed. Does that make sense?
And Gwyneth has always been very rock n’ roll. Just because she doesn’t dress a certain way doesn’t make her not. Have you seen pics of her when she was young? She’s always been into Coldplay, Radiohead, U2, Deadsy, The Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Eisley, Jeff Buckley, and lots of other rock artists. Maybe if people would actually read her interviews before automatically writing her off as a b*tch, they would know what she’s really like.

I live in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. I think this house is cold and without personality. It is SAD. I would like help Gwynnie to transform her home.
