Why Britney Spears Doesn’t Wear Underwear
A longtime friend of Britney Spears is exasperated that the singer keeps exposing herself in public. “The underwear thing is ridiculous — and I’ve told her,” Tuesday Knight, a jewelry designer who has been a friend of Britney’s since 2003, tells In Touch. “I’ve said, ‘You cannot walk into a store wearing just a shirt with your underwear off.’ I’ve told her that no one will take her seriously when she does this.”
Tuesday believes Britney’s insecurity after her divorce from Kevin Federline led to her exposing her private parts. “I love Britney — adore her — but she brings a lot of it on herself,” says Tuesday, 38. “I’ve heard Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney talk about how they shock Hollywood just for the fun of it. They were discussing how they could play a little joke on all of us.”
“Britney has always been a good mother,” she says. “I want people to know that she’s the better parent — not Kevin!” Tuesday adds, “Britney asked me, ‘Doesn’t anybody get to see this part of me?’ The answer is, no, they don’t. People just read about her not wearing underwear.”
Tuesday blames Kevin, 29, for Britney’s transformation from international pop star to train wreck. “I knew Britney when she and Kevin first met,” Tuesday says. “She remade her entire life so it was all about him. She didn’t even want to sign a prenup. Since then, I’ve watched her spiral downward.”
Now, her problem of flashing could get her in even more trouble with the law. “The rules on indecent exposure are the same for everybody,” says attorney Myles Alderman Jr. of New York’s Alderman & Alderman law firm, which does not represent Britney. “If you can see her exposing herself at eye level, then that would be sufficient evidence and could create a legal issue.”
Before that happens, Tuesday hopes that her friend will realize that she doesn’t have to humiliate herself to get attention. “Britney doesn’t need to do it and she knows it’s stupid,” says Tuesday. “But she says that she just doesn’t like to wear underwear.”

Sorry to say….. I have gone commando at times too. Especially in the summer when it’s really hot. The wind blowing free up your skirt feels great. SORRY Also, It is suggested by doctors to sometimes forgo undies. Underwear has sometimes been known to cause yeast infections. Also, some people are allergic to them like some people are alergic to condoms. BUT if she doesn’t want to wear them that is her choice and it doesn’t make her a *****. This is not high school… or maybe to some of you it is!

I think the point is, she should know how to get out of a car. Whether you’re wearing underwear or not, you swing both legs out of the car - together and then get up. She seems to have some kind of subconcious desire to show the world her cl!t. Going commando is one thing but showing everyone your private parts is another. Also, as #41 and several others pointed out, she is around her kids with her stuff out. It’s too much - I have two sons myself and feel that your boobs and breasts should be covered up. I love my body and all it’s parts no matter what and totally own my sexuality. I like wearing clothes that fit as well and look pretty good in them. I believe in maintaining some level of decency for myself and my kids though. One day her kids are going to get older and be able to read about their mom and see her in various states of undress looking a mess. If she’s depressed, she should get help. If she wants to go around w/out underwear, she should learn how to get out of her car w/out having a classless Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct moment.
I’m sorry but I have no sympathy for these girls; they are old enough to know better, and obviously they are doing it for the shock factor and the attention. The just need to grow the heck up, Brittney especially because she has two kids to think about, and in my opinion she is not a good mother, because people with young children to care about does not behave the way Brit does. Maybe Lindsey and Paris could get away with acting like complete whores, but Brit needs to stop being selfish and think about her children, because actions has consequenses. Being photograph every freaking night does not make her case any better. Britney doesn’t deserve to have the boys if her goal in life is to “shock Hollywood”. If she is a good Mommy, she would do everything to make her image good for the courts watching her and judging her parental skills. Kevin is no better. He’s just got an excellent attorney and has a goal of taking Britney’s money. He should not have the boys either.
My prayer is that the courts start monitoring Kevin’s interaction with the boys.

The real problem is not that she doesn`t wear penties its that she feels the need to show her crotch to the world each time she gets out of a car. Its possible to wear a mini skirt and get out of a car without showing your private. At this point its obvious she is doing it on purpose its stupid and she doesnt help her self.
