You haven’t seen a Jean Harlow movie, have you? In nearly every candid shot, that girl was tanned; but when it came to her movies, she was lily-white. So much so, she bacame the beauty standard for the Nazi German regime.

Does anyone else think she looks way too thin. Especially with the make-up, she looks almost skeletal. I hope she’s okay.

Brad had to come and check on his babies’mama. During the 1920’s so I’ve read, the woman used corn starch as face powder to controll the shine. They didn’t have a lot of cosmectics like they do now. Cosmectics weren’t being mass produced then. That is what I read somewhere many years ago. Don’t remember the book or what. Peace.

Joan Crawford was extremely freckly; she had to employ major makeup to cover them up.

Gotta disagree.

Lainey implied that the star in question needs the BFF more than the other way around. Lainey’s been dissing Ken Paves’ influence over Simpson’s look for a while now, advising her to submit to the tutelage of her trainer. And Simpson’s masculine look is a fairly recent development. And Simpson seemed to have gotten over Lachey months after the divorce.

People who write them get away with really malicious slanders and libels, because its practically impossible to get sued for libel or slander by the suspects. Lordy lordy, Brad’s already on the set and Angie has just been filming for one day!! Well this is how they do it, Angie was on the AOJJ, 0-13, BB, and BAR sets all the time, Brad was on the TGS, AMH, and Wanted sets all the time. They roll as a unit, that is definitely the way they are.

They both look so happy.

At first I thought it was someone else, but then the “chair” Lainey mentioned made me think of a hairdressers chair and “getting pretty” made me think otherwise as well.
Jessica and Ken P were inseparable for awhile, acting very much like BFF’s and I know from experience that some of my old hairdresser were as “catty” as they come. They were constantly gossiping. Oh Lainey mentioning “old gossip”, Nick and Jessica did split some time ago. Who knows though.

I see that some folks were guessing that this was Court & X, but it’s not. It’s Nic Kidman and Naomi Watts. The clue is the miscarriage. X NEVER HAD A MISCARRIAGE BECAUSE B#TCH WAS NEVER PREGNANT. Nic had one, some say 2, miscarriages. NK also showed up at the recent premiere of “Margot At The Wedding” and folks remarked on how she looked like she’d gained 10 or 15 pounds. She’s definitely not a skinny as she used to be. Another clue is Lamey has said in the past that NK treats NW like a servant and is only BFFs with her when she’s looking to bolster her public image - like at big awards shows like the Oscars & the GGs. Someone was mentioning earlier a goose bump moment when in a movie it was mentioned Angie’s character should marry Brad Pitt.

My daughter rented Rumor Has It–don’t shoot me, I like Kevin Costner and Shirley Maclain. Anyway X is talking to another character in the movie about some battle ground they were to visit trying to remember the name of it or something like that. (The movie is fairly forgettable) Then she popped out the name: Shiloh.

My daughter and I looked at each other and got the goose bumps for sure. This was before Shiloh was born and we were sure X would cringe remembering that movie line forever.

While I did see the original offensive Larry King interview with DT, I did not get the chance to enjoy the backlash you describe. It makes me feel immensely happy that he is being called on this and not allowed to get away with it. I agreed reluctantly with everyone that Brad and Angelina should continue to ignore this stuff personally, but I am still glad others have defended them. I think it doesn’t sound as bad written. You really have to see him and hear him making these statements as if they actually MATTER! Before I doze off into a blissful sleep, I think what they did tonight on that show is what any other news organization should to. Angelina nor any other celebrity should have to refute misquotes or false attacks if the truth exists out there. Everything Frump said was all wrong. The newsgathering side of that show kicked into gear. They gathered accurate info and counteracted Frump’s statements. That’s the way it should be…non confrontational, just the facts. Even he can’t have anything to say because he was proven wrong. He’s not the type of man to say he was misinformed and will just say, “well I was just stating my opinion”. The cherry on top was the answer to Trump from the UNHCR. Case closed on Frump.

Okay…one last comment - don’t you people think if X had ever been preggers it would have been one of the worst kept secrets in HW? Everyone and their dog knew how badly Brad wanted kids. IF X had ever had a miscarriage the rumors would have been rife, regardless of whether an announcement was made or not. Look at all the rumors we see every day on the internet. Gossip sites have been around in various forms since the internet began. In the good old days of USENET News Groups we used to hear some fantastic “rumors” that were very solidly sourced. It was a much smaller online world back then and people weren’t afraid to talk and name names. Basically…if X had ever been preggers…there’s no way there wouldn’t have been rumors about it and there never were. As a matter of fact she went out of her way to dispel any pregnancy rumors whenever there were. That’s why she was forever saying “we’re still negotiating” and “a baby is on the way” and “we’re working on it”. We’ve talked about this thousands of times here - X did everything she could to avoid getting pregnant…and don’t forget the woman had a 2-pack a day smoking habit. If she’d had a miscarriage she could’ve easily blamed it on the complications of smoking and propped herself up as a public service announcement! LOL. Huvane would’ve called up People as soon as X gave him the news…and you can bet he’d have known before Brad. It would’ve been Huvane…then Court…then David…then Brad. Ergo…X WAS NEVER PREGGERS! LOL!

That’s the part of the blind item that didn’t fit for me either, although the rest did. X and Cox both went through several years of Friends where they were both skeletally thin. Awful looking in fact. I can imagine her using testosterone to stay that unnaturally skinny. I can’t imagine her allowing herself to get pregs and ruin her great figure. Accidents do happen though.

However as for announcing it? Most people don’t like to announce until at least 3-4 months have passed because those early months are the most likely time for a miscarriage. If she lost it in the first couple of months it never would have been announced at all. Especially if she lost it because of some kind of drug use.

I still think it could be her Brazilian wax lady spilling secrets though.

Micro - no, I don’t have any kids. Thank God. I don’t have the patience for it! Serioulsy…my kids would be effed up. They’d be on “time out” for about 20 years.

As for X - would she announce a miscarriage if it had been caused by substance abuse? I think she would have to rush to spin it, so yes. You have to remember that the tabs and the media in general were sitting at the doorstep of the Golden Couple waiting for them to spawn. After it was announced that X’s character would be preggers on the show the tabs were literally foaming at the mouth waiting for the announcement that a little Pitt was on the way. She was under intense scrutiny before Rachel got preggers, during and ESPECIALLY when the show ended and she kept saying, “It’s in the works.” We all know now that Brad had already pulled away and didn’t want kids with her. She’s already said that much.

So, yeah, because of the the media attention on her, the slightest change in her waistline was being monitored like Fort Knox. Just they way the do with Angie now (only it’s actually worse now because B/A keep saying they want 60 kids!). I think X would’ve had to announce a miscarriage, and lie about the cause if necessary, because the tabs would’ve been all over any change in their behavior or her appearance. And you know darned good and well it would be too good a chance to garner public sympathy for X & Huvane to pass it up! Like I said - above all else, X is a famewhore extraordinaire.

Anyone here from the UK? If so has Brad been confirmed for attendance at the London Film Festival this Friday nite? I don’t know if Angie will be there if Brad does go as she is working on this film. ClintE works day and nite and shoots fast and that is why his films have such short shoots. He has so much energy for a 77 year old man.

There will be pixs of Brad presenting Casey’s award monday nite in LA. Maybe Angelina will also attend. ClintE usually attends this award gala so there may be a short break in filming.

Who would have thunk it that Jimmy Kimmel who Angie used to be butt of his jokes is now coming to her defence, what has the world come to. First Elizabitch changes her tone and now Kimmel, even his girlfriend Sarah Silverman said she was star struck on meeting Angie and is hoping to get Angie to do a skit in her show.

Brad just seems so very very protective of his family, hence the bodyguards everywhere and every time his children or his Angelina goes out.

His recent round of interviews and his actions for the last 2 years clearly shows that as far as Brad is concerned, Angelina and his children are his no. 1 priority. He seems to want to show his Angelina all the love and support he can, whether its visiting her on the set or flying back to Angelina and the family from whereever just to turn around and fly out to wherever else.

Angelina certainly seems to have no complains on that front. She looks to be a woman who is deeply happy and content.

It has been interesting to watch the evolution of this couple and their family since 2005. They are truly a powerful force to be reckoned with in many arenas. Both Brad and Angelina are now reclaiming their places in Htown. They will be invisible no more, their sabatical is over. They were wise to take the time to solidify their relationship, to decide what was important to them and what was not, to learn how and when to compromise with each other on issues that arose, and to grow their family as much out of the public eye as is possible. Good for them.

Just voted on CNN against DT. His arrogance will be his downfall. He doesn’t know when to shut up. Maybe others will learn from this and think twice before they start to bash Angie. Peace.

I think it takes some time to solidify a relationship as completely as is possible, to believe that you know someone as well as you know yourself, to know their habits, to know their likes and dislikes, to experience some of life’s ups and downs together and survive those stresses, that’s what I was talking about. That is what I believe has happened with Brad and Angelina now after almost three years together.

Boy if DT had seen Brad grabbing Angie when he got into the car at the Cannes Film Festival he would have had a stroke. What do you think was on Brad’s mind? Discussing world issues? Not! Jennie, or Ginny Mos, the CNN reporter who did the piece on DT she is good at that type of reporting. When Frenchy first posted the comments I thought H.J.Hammer had done it. But that seem unlikely as he is such a wimp. My mind just wouldn’t accept that. But Jennie Mos makes more sense. She has the skills needed to do the interviews, etc. Peace

why is Brad holding her arm all possessive like? His body language is like Tom Cruise’ when he’s trying to keep Kate from running away.

He does have his arm around her, and picture #2 shows her hand on his waist too. How lovely. I believe that these two are so in-loved with each other. They look happy together. Angie is always smiling on the set. I’m tickled!
