OlderVanessa Hudgens Dropped by Disney?
High School Musical starlet Vanessa Hudgens has not signed a $1 million contract with shoe giant Skechers, reps for both Vanessa and Skechers tell JustJared.com. Maybe next year!
And to make matters worse, OK! is exclusively reporting that Disney will not be asking Vanessa, 18, to join the feature film High School Musical 3.
At fault? The nude photo scandal.
“Disney finally decided that they don’t want her back,” says an insider. “They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He’s the real star – the household name – and, most importantly, he comes without baggage.”
Who supposedly will replace Vanessa? Cheetah Girls Adrienne Baillon or DWTS‘ Sabrina Bryan (both 23).
Says OK!’s source: “The producers think that after Dancing With the Stars, Sabrina will be more famous than Vanessa.”
Two words: YEAH, RIGHT!!!!!

I honestly think Vanessa is as big of a star (if not bigger) than Zac…
Remember Zac wasn’t on the tour… and it still sold out in US and in every stadium concert (with more than 60.000 people) in Latin America!
Kids, tweens and teenagers worship Vanessa, not to mention that teenagers now watch Disney Channel because of her… there’s no way Disney would do HSM 3 without her, they’re not that stupid…
It’s all nonsense anyway. It’s OK magazine.
Besides Vanessa can always do “High School Musical: The Porn Years”
OMG i also just realised. If this happens Disney will go down too. Vanessa and HSM 3 got disney channel up on the top so if she goes hsm falls down and disney gets dragged down too
Actually, I don’t want Zac or Vanessa do a third HSM. I’m happy if she doesn’t do it but if Disney is gonna ******* replace her with some other girl to play Gabriella, that’s just stupid cause seriously, you can’t change a character after 2 movies! And you can’t have the same chemistry that Troy & Gabby have so this is completely fcking stupid. Besides, I don’t think Zac would want to do a third one without Vanessa anyway. And, OK! is known for their bullshit.
I have no problem with either Adrienne Bailon or Sabrina Bryan I think either one or both of them would make fine additions to the “High School Musical” francise. But neither one of them is Gabriella Montez. That’s Vanessa Hudgens.

No way, I don’t really believe OK Mag! but if it’s true then HSM will be done with, it won’t even become half of the success it is today, weather you like V as Gabi or not, I mean, do you think that the bonds that the actors and characters share will be the same, no, they would have to start over and it would be so bad.
Besides, V is the only one of the girls that can sing amazingly both alone and with other, I mean, her voice blends perfect together with Zac’s, Corbin’s and Lucas, non of the others does, and it’s kind of funny that whenever she sings, her voice is stronger and louder then the others, so you can always hear when she sings.
On other note, I’m Swedish and Vanessa is huge over here, but I have no idea who any of those other two are.

I honstly don’t see zac signing on to the project if vanessa is not in it.
I say congrats to Disney. I think it’s good they are taking a stand and letting Vanessa know that what she did was not ok. And if they did replace her with Adrianne or Sabrina, I’m sure they’d make her a different character and say that Gabriella had to move away with her mother or something.
I’m personally rooting for Sabrina!

jespere vraiment que c’est faux , j’habite en belgique et je suis la plus grande fan de vanessa c vrai quelle a fait une erreur mais pour moi c’est elle qui fait tous le charme de high shcool musical elle a du charisme et puis elle et zac sont trop mignons ensemble ! si elle ne joue pas dans hsm 3 je ne regarderais pas c simple !!!

I hope that’s not true! I’m a suburban(Roseville, CA) mother of two young boys and will not take my children to see HSM3 if Vanessa doesn’t get the role. I know plenty of other moms who feel the same way. Vanessa is an ACTRESS for God’s sake. There are a lot of well known actresses who have gone nude for their craft, the difference is she wasn’t paid for it and did the pictures in private. Disney Corp. and Kenny Ortega should wake up and smell all the $$$ they will be LOSING by not casting her. She’s their cash cow too! GOOD LUCK TO YOU VANESSA IN WHATEVER YOU DO:)
