Changeling Miss Jolie
Angelina Jolie is all smiles with costar Devon Conti on the L.A. set of their new ’20s-era thriller The Changeling on Thursday. Director Clint Eastwood was also seen around set, which is in San Dimas (a suburb of Los Angeles).
In the film, Conti, 10, plays the son of Angie’s character named Arthur Hutchins. Angie’s character suspects the boy who comes back to her after being kidnapped is not hers.

530 Maureen - You are very welcome, and also do you think Angie is so relief that tastless Trump approves of her new image?….*rolled eyes*, he’s full of *%@*.
********************************************
AJ’s relief knows no bounds. Don’t all women rely on Trump for his opinion of them?LOL. He dissed a number of successful people in this interview. The fool has no boundaries. His comments of GC, AJ aside, he went on to talk about Mark Cuban finding success on DWTS. Cuban is a billionaire. I think he found success before DWTS. Trump has a bad case of foot in mouth disease.
#359, MF thanks for the video.
How are you doing, think positive?
Hello senior and all the fans.
Actor DON CHEADLE attended a special New York screening tonight of the documentary ‘Darfur Now,’ and talked to ET about the involvement of his fellow celebs, GEORGE CLOONEY, BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE.
The theatrical film, which will open in New York and Los Angeles on November 2, explores the continued conflict in Sudan through the experiences of six people, including Cheadle, who told ET, “It’s great to be able to get involved and hopefully see some positive results. The people of Darfur need it.”
Cheadle discussed his famous friends who are also supporting the project, and mentioned that he was meeting Clooney later in the evening to discuss their next socially conscious project. “We’ve both been doing things in different ways,” he said of Clooney. “We’re continuing to find ways to use [our celebrity] for [causes like these].”
And when asked if rumors of an ‘Ocean’s 14′ were true, Cheadle replied, “No, it’s not!”
Pitt and Jolie, who attended a screening of ‘Darfur Now’ last month at the United Nations, have also come out in support of the movie. Cheadle said he’s happy to see them involved. “It’s not just lip service, they’ve been doing stuff like this for awhile,” he said.

NO, NO NO! Closest place is Buffalo, about an hours drive! Not too bad but I called the theater and they are sold out all weekend!! Which is good for the movie! Not me though! Best days to catch it are Tuesdays, yeah that works for me, not! We have a really well known theater here that plays hard to find movies. They can’t afford it. I called. Would you mind giving us you thoughts as NYLurker did without giving away too much? If not, you need to email me the closest airport, I’m catching a flight and camping on your couch! And I’ll bring my cats!!!
+++++++++++++++
Hey Sheri -
If you’re still lurking…I just saw the movie and it’s fantastic. All the good things you’ve heard about it? I concur and then some! Casey Affleck as Bob Ford, as Frank James put it, gave me the willies! And Brad totally kicked ass as Jesse James. Awesome, awesome performance from Brad and totally worth an Oscar nomination. I would say that Brad and Casey had equal screentime, but I’d give the nod to Brad over Casey simply because Brad had so much less dialog and had to create his chracter with his facial expresssions and body language.
Also, as others have noted, the supporting performances were fantastic, too - the Sams, Shepard & Rockwell, Jeremy Renner, Garrett Dillahunt, & Paul Schneider all nailed their characters. I wish there’d been more scenes between Jesse & Zee, though. And the only other thing I would nitpick is that I don’t think there were enough early scenes between Jesse & Bob. But I figured that they had to cut so much out of the initial 4 1/2 hour version that they simply couldn’t keep everything that could have been in the early part of the movie.
One last comment on the movie itself - the critics who panned this movie are total idiots. Was Brad that said this is a movie that takes a while to appreciate or that it would age well…something to that effect. I concur. The critics that didn’t like it are going to see this movie 5 years from now and say, “What the hell was I thinking? This movie is a fcuking masterpiece!”
Also, I went to a matinee and there were about 25 people in the theater. BUT, the thing is…AOJJ is the only movie I saw people buying tickets for! The theater was NOT doing a brisk Friday afternoon business! LOL! But everyone who came in - single women like myself, older couples, a couple of guys by themselves, a few 30-something couples - bought tickets for AOJJ.
And my last comment is about the theater - $4.00 for a fcuking Icee? WTF kinda shite is that?!

PT (Passing Through) - I am quite interested to hear your take on the TAOJJ movie (I have several unanswered questions that I’m eager to hear what people think of it.) I’ve seen TAOJJ the first week it came out here in NYC (lucky for me, I live just fifteen minutes walk from my place to Angelika theater (an arthouse theater that I detest because the theater is below street level- you can feel and hear the rumbling of the subway - very annoying). Have fun….
+++++++++++++++
You have questions about the movie? Fire away. I’ll answer them if I can without giving away too much info for the ones who haven’t seen it.
One thing I left out of my review - the reaction in the theater when the movie ended. Dead silence…and then one woman says, “Wow.” And I heard the guy next to her say, “Yeah. Exactly.” Pretty much sums up what I thought, too.
557 Maureen - ITA with you LOL, you are so funny.
MF- I have to watch the video tonight, thank you for posting the new video. I can’t wait to see it.
Passing Through- The icee?…that’s expensive for a cup of water mix sugar drink. LOL. Thank you for your brilliant review.

==== What interview is that ? I’ve seen every Brad interivews on 2003 to 2004, he never said that ! In his last interview which is a month before separation at the famous D.Sawyer talk show. He almost cried for wanting children, he didn’t mention X.
He does mention they’re rehearsing , or its time to have children in his troy promotion, but he’s lying just like X lying to the public about she’s prepared to be a young mother at her 30’s ( thou 30 something is not young mother anymore), baby on the way for goddamn 7 yrs. but in fact, she never stop her chain smoking, zone diet, “happy” and male hormone intake. That’s definitely not a woman who want to get pregnant!
why do you even try? really. they are only going to rip you to shreads the moment you say something derogatory about the Jolie/Pitt family. We know we’re all allowed to state our opinion but not on this thread…. they are like watch dogs here. They will bite your b*lls off the moment you state something factual or anything that is common sense. We all know jOlie needs to be more private… for the kids sake. The fans tend to disagree because if she becomes private then they’ll have no one to obsess over.

Thanks for the spoiler-free review.
I am getting so excited about seeing it, mainly because his best performances seems to be in movies that are hard sells to the general public. I am watching Snatch again and I love it so much that I might buy it, along with AMH tomorrow.
Hello beatiful people!!, how are you? I hope everything is fine.
Just interrupted: Hi!!, thanks for the shout out. I´m still at work, but I always have JJ site open. How are you?
Shoot - before I forget - a rundown of the pre-movie trailers. I submit the following reviews:
1. P.S. - I Love You: Hillary Swank, Gerard Butler, Lisa Kudrow & Harry Connick, Jr.
- Hillary Swank - stick to dramas. There is one short scene so cringingly bad I was literally embarrassed for the two-time Oscar winner.
- Lisa Kudrow - had the only 2 funny lines in the entire trailer. Not good for a comedy.
- Harry Connick, Jr. - Doofus and can’t act.
- Gerard Butler - Marry me!
2. American Gangster: Denzel & Russell directed by Ridley Scott. If this movie is anywhere near as good as the trailer…it’s walking away with ALL the major awards this year.
- Denzel - The Academy might as well start engraving his name on the Best Actor Oscar.
- Russell - Didn’t quite master the New Yawker accent. Sounds more Bostonian to me.
3. Lions For Lambs: Redford, Streep, Cruise directed by Redford.
- Redford: Plays a college professor who’s anti-war. Has been more convincing.
- Streep: Plays a reporter getting the scoop of a lifetime from a Senator running for president on unique war stance. Has been more convincing.
- Cruise: Plays the Senator running for prez. BWWWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Lamey keeps saying Tom is gunning for an Oscar this year and will pimp this movie hardcore. Let’s just hope that Tom’s ego can take a few more bruises this year…cuz he totally sucked in the trailer I saw. His portrayal of a presidential candidate was about as convincing as saying Britney is as a good mother…with a straight face. Tom’s been drinking at the Xenu Fountain of Bullshit for much to long to be convincing as anything more than an overpaid actor with a Napoleonic complex and a severe case of Short Man’s Syndrome.
Overall ratings of the trailers -
- P.S. I Love You - F
- American Gangster - A+ to the 10th degree
- Lions For Lambs - D. If it were just Streep & Reford I’d give it a B…but TC totally blows any cred this flick had.
