Changeling Miss Jolie
Angelina Jolie is all smiles with costar Devon Conti on the L.A. set of their new ’20s-era thriller The Changeling on Thursday. Director Clint Eastwood was also seen around set, which is in San Dimas (a suburb of Los Angeles).
In the film, Conti, 10, plays the son of Angie’s character named Arthur Hutchins. Angie’s character suspects the boy who comes back to her after being kidnapped is not hers.

Gosh, MO Fan, it’s still not at any theaters near you? I know you said you don’t drive on the highway, but couldn’t you get your hubby or one of you sons to take you over to Plaza Frontenac or to the Moolah? Honestly, I think it’s worth the trip. Your hubby might even enjoy the movie himself.

I don’t know where all of this is coming from. I saw the movie and as I said there was a discussion with several other fans and there were no complaints. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember who, but someone complemented me on my review. I don’t think you are rude, but I don’t why I was singled out. Reviews have said more than I have, and so have other fans. That is what I am taking issue with. But as soon as we know what thred to go to I will join the others. Peace :smile:
Review on Halle Barry’s new movie. Ben Lyons said it would have been a better play. I like Halle. I read somewhere that she might be considered for an Oscar nomination for this movie. Peace

OMG—-We just got back from watching TAOJJ it was AWESOME!!!! Hubby and I are still talking about it. Did PT give a run down yet? I haven’t read the thread at all. I still need to soak it in to give you my impressions.
Let me give you a few little observations of the folks who were watching it. When the movie ended no one just jumped up left like they normally do. As we were going down the stairs there was a couple in front of us and she said “this is a classic, we need to buy it when it’s out on DVD”. As we were walking to the car I asked hubby so what he thought about the movie . He said it sure wasn’t what he expected. He is about 6 years older than me and said well ‘I have seen so many Jesse James movies this is so different and so clever (I need to ask him what he meant by that)’.
He said he really, really liked it :-) This man usually likes action packed movies :-) We just kept on talking how real the characters were, ALL of them!!! As we were driving home I said so how long do you think the movie was, he said I don’t know I guess less than two hours :-) I told him to look at the time, he was shocked. OK, let me settle down and read the tread and maybe I’ll make more sense in a bit :-)

I heard movie reviews today on tv and it was said that ‘The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford’, Brad Pitt was riveting and CA’s performance was outstanding. Brad’s movie was a voted a must see Movie of the Year, and Oscar worthy.

I concur. After seeing it I’m really stunned that it’s got 29 bad reviews at RottenTomatoes.com! LOL! Seriously, it’s that good. This movie should be at 95%. It makes me wonder what exactly those 29 critics LIKE in a movie? I mean these are probably the same people who gave a good review to Knocked Up or some other silly little rom-com with no ambition to be anything other than dumb and mildy entertaining.

Jen Vs. Angie… All Over Again
The new issue of W magazine features a glamourous shot of Angelina Jolie on the cover. No… Wait, it features Jennifer Aniston. Hold up a second — the glossy mag decided to go all tabloid on its readers for the November issue and print separate editions: One with Brad Pitt’s current squeeze and babymama Angie; the other with ex-wife Jen.
Apparently, the issue, dubbed the “Art Issue,” features a portfolio of photographs by lensman Richard Prince, who has shot both the former and (possibly) future Mrs. Pitts.
So, it’s once again time to take up side in the Team Aniston/Team Angelina battle. Where do your allegiances lie?

This is the post that seems to have gotten some people all twisted out of shape. Now if this is anything revealing in these comments I will apologize. There is nothing here that tells anything about the plot or even the characters and their actions. I always try to maintain a friendly disposition toward all BAMPZS fans. But come at me straight. And to make it seem as if I was catering to guli. Hey step off. The comments from “consideration” were unwarranted. guli and I had said earlier that when she came back we would discuss the movie. So I think you should chill, and stop reacting to something that hasn’t happened. Peace.
Glad you saw it. Now we have to wait for guli then we can have a disscussion. NY Lurker has some questions. Seattle Lights were are you and the other Seattle fan? I think I know what NY Lurker wants to know. Yes he did. I need to see it again so that I can concentrate on the music a little more. Between the cinematography and watching Brad, Casey and the others I wasn’t paying enough attention to the music. I heard it. And it was nice. But I don’t think I remember it well. I do remember a piano. A simple tune. Peace

Everything is going really well for me Alex! I couldn’t be happier! kind of giddy actually, you know why! I’m trying to call the theater near Syracuse that is playing it to see if there are tickets. Here since there are so few theaters all the shows are sold out! Ok glad it’s the weekend? Did somebody have a long and tough week? So sorry if you did.

A mighty heart, I stopped visitng popsugar about two months ago. The Angelina bashing just became too distateful for me to handle.
Thanks all for the recap about AOJJ now I have to watch it sometime tomorrow.
The W magazine covers are soo infantile if they think they will reap off the team nonsense then they are in for a rude shock. Am sure alot of X fans will rush to buy her covers to prove a point but not soo much the JP fans coz I believe Brad and Angie are above such infantile issues and they have nothing to prove. On the other hand people who need validation will have to run and buy their idols cover wasnt she voted tabloid queen (of which W is becoming slowly but surely)
