i dont think she was lip synching but she definetly has the track of her singing behind what shes singing so if she has difficulty singing a part she could just stop actually singing and just pretend like she was singing.
there were so many “singings” in that.

Was just watching the lighting of the big tree in NY tonight…saw this Ashley Tisdale (never heard of her before) and was like “who the hell is this girl…lipsynching in Rockefeller Center?” Weird. Notice that they never pan to the audience around her (as they did with previous singers who were not lipsynching prior to their “performance”). To top it off she was lipsynching to some x-mas song made famous by WHAM!…funny. Then if you will notice at the very end the sound track is still going and she is not moving her lips at all and has the microphone covering her mouth waiting for it to be turned on or something (the microphone). Then with the soundtrack still going in the background…she mumbles “thank you!” Wow! Her voice is different from her soundtrack singing voice. Hmmmm. Way to go! Guess she can pull this one over on her pre-teen Disney audience. Another “Britney”

She doesnt well at all, I wish she was lip synching, it wouldve sounded better, besides, half of the song she just talks basically.
Anyone that thinks she can sing knows absolutely NOTHING about singing. She sucks as a singer, dancer and she’s not that nice an actress. She’s decent to look at but she ain’t close to being all that like she prolly thinks she is. She’s one of these folks that got record deals off of something that was hot (HSM) that really and truly should not have. Just like Mitchel Musso and Emily Osment (sp?) with Hannah Montana.
None of these fools should be singing and for people to allow them to keep on doing it, it’s laughable.
