Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actress Zhang Ziyi gets a little furry at designer Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall/Winter 2007 collection at the Fendi Great Wall of China fashion show on Friday in Beijing, China.
Pictured below: Bernard Arnault, the 7th richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $26 billion. In 2007, he was listed among Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in The World. Arnault, 58, is Chairman and CEO of both LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and Christian Dior SA.

Unlike Kate Bosworth, Zhang Ziyi actually pulled it off.
I normally think Zhang Ziyi looks flawless and stunning, but this look just isn’t working for me… I don’t like the eye make up or the outfit. She is still a beautiful girl underneath all that though!!

No one liks her anywhere in Asia. She’s got some fans over here, though…no wonder the Asia movie industiral and medias also wondering what is the reason for others to like her?? She is very bitcy and acts like she is all-that (of course she is not to many of us!) every time when she mets the Asia medias. She mostly doesn’t respond to Asia presses. Erm - she’s certainly not the only one to date a rich, older, powerful man. Don’t the majority of female celebrities and models do this? Salma Hayek and that troll, Henri Pinault - Uma Thurman and Arpard Busson - there are so many examples. She’s not the first, or the last, I don’t think China should feel they lay claim to her.

the chinese press and people in china are so annoying. stop hating on her because of her fame. they don’t like her because they are jealous of her crossover fame to other countries such as the U.S. they feel that mainland actresses should stick to their own part of town and only be famous there. the chinese press should stop being so traditional and uptight and instead be proud of her accomplishments. there aren’t many asian actresses who can make it in hollywood or around the world. the asian press does not hate her. it’s the chinese who have the problem.
and to judge her having a mean or bad attitude towards the chinese press? i’ve seen them bad-mouthing her like crazy in front of her face when being interviewed. let me tell u that i would not be nice to them either. they’re so mean to her and always talk crap about her. she even admitted to the american press that they always put her down and are never happy with her work.

A great actress is a great one all around, universally. One can see that if someone is talented and give praise. If the Chinese have something critical to say…there is a reason for that. I don’t think it’s just her own people. There are some Westerners that agree that her acting is not all that.
There are limited roles in Hollywood for Asians. So what? If there is a spectacular Asian actress in the future, we will take notice universally.
