Suri Cruises the Carlyle
Tom Cruise exits the Carlyle hotel to attend a press junket for his upcoming wartime suspense tale Lions For Lambs. 30 minutes later, wife Katie Holmes left the hotel with baby Suri, 17 months, en route to Chelsea Studios for a photo shoot.
Mmmmm! Barley water, milk and corn syrup!!!

what if suri and shiloh grow up to really, really like each other?… as in “really”, ahem.
adorable kid and katie looks hot with those sunglasses! but why is she wearing sunglasses during the night…its kinda stupid but celebs wear sunglasses to avoid the flashes from cameras i guess. katie looks good like this, very sophisticated.
suri is an adorable child. i think her, shiloh, and violet affleck are the cutest celeb baby girls.
Still think is she über cute…but she looks scared in some of these pics…these paparazzi “ppl” need to beck off, she is just a little kid.

It is a shame they use the kid for publicity like they do. I suppose they know that no one would take their photos if it weren’t for the kid. It’s so obvious how desperate they both are for attention. I’ll never understand why he married such a joke…now he has become one as well.
Tom does not have the height, nor figure to wear that suit. He looks terrible. And the hair…OMG..I’m not even going to say it…..

Did you watch the Red Sox game last night at Fenway Park? About 17, 00 people have the same dark hair and light eyes. lol
Her big nose is way too distracting, she is getting less cuter growing up.
How old is that baby Suri??? She seems older than what they are saying about her age!!! It seems there’s a conspiracy regarding her real age.. And i believe Tom is not her real daddy..This baby looks more like Katie and Chris Kliene,Katie’s fiancee before she hooked-up with Cruise.Suri is cute but nothing out of the ordinary!!! just average like her mom Katie!!
THis girl is not 17 months old, she looks three. I wonder why (if they are) they’re lying about her age.
If she was 3-4 years old, she would have all of her baby teeth by now. Another thread here showed she only has two bottom ones, thus she could not be 3-4 years old. As for her being almost two, isn’t she like 18 going on 19 months considering she was born in April 06?
And everytime she is photographed holding a bottle does not mean that she is holding or given one ALL the time!
I take my son out at nights too for family gatherings, and we have had to come home later than his bedtime. This is neither a bad thing nor a good thing, it’s just the circumstances families will be given at one point or another.
The fact that she IS with her mother, and/or father, and not left behind should be a good thing as children this age need that interaction with their parents. The downside of their efforts to be close to her is that she will most likely get photographed and harrassed by the paparazzi and they will get chided for their efforts. It seems like a lose-lose situaton for celebrities of that caliber, but what can they do? Let it affect them to the point that they not interact naturally with their children? Say take them out to parks, point out objects behind a window, be out and about?
I believe each celebrity parent truly tries their best to be good parents, no matter how good or bad of a light a photograph might be analyzed by us, the general public.
and the hair…my own son’s hair color range from raven black to a light brown, dependent on the light (natural or flash) and how close you shoot the camera. He does not have it dyed and we don’t have any light brown hair colors in our family. So it is a natural tendency (though not sure from where lol), which I believe Suri has also, considering her background.
That we can detect a light brown tendency in Suri’s hair shows how close (or powerful the zoom) and how bright the camera and flash of the paparazzis must be.
Which, to me, is deeply disturbing and must be a nightmare for them, especially the child.
I really don’t know how celebrities can handle a swarm of photographers surrounding them all the time, following them, yelling their name, pushing one another to get that perfect and bankable shot. And unless we have been through that, we cannot possibly begin to understand how crazy being in that situation may be and how hard it must be to maintain some semblance of normalcy for themselves and their children.
As parents, I don’t think you want to make the situation more ‘out of the ordinary’ than it already is and perhaps that is why they are going out and about normally, and not hiding behind closed doors–and they shouldn’t have to.

First off, Suri is very cute. Not the cutest baby I’ve ever seen, but I think all the people who say she’s ugly are being unnecessarily harsh. She can’t help that her dad’s a weirdo. As for the comments that she’s older than they say, it’s because of the hair. My niece was born with a full head of dark brown curls, and in some pictures it looks like a 5-year-old’s head on a newborn’s body. It really makes a huge difference. She’s about Suri’s age, and her hair has also lightened up (naturally), going from very dark brown, to a sandy brown now. It happens!
Are all of these prior people stupid or what? You asked us to let you know what we thought of the shoes Katie is wearing. I think they are the most ghastly, fugly looking shoes ever. I almost threw up when I saw them. I don’t know who is giving her advice, but I am convinced she has no taste.

I was a fan of Tom’s but he has changed. No longer a fan. He did not expose his other two children like this. Liked him better with Nicole. They seem so materialist.
Im a new fan of Tom and so loving it. I love him more also because of Suri and Katie.
That is one beautiful girl so much like her parents.
