Jennifer Garner: No Tabloids, Please!
Jennifer Garner signs autographs for her fans following her Saturday performance in the play Cyrano de Bergerac at the the Richard Rodgers theatre in New York City. The production will officially open November 1st and will play a strictly limited 10-week engagement.
When asked to sign a tabloid magazine, Jen kindly refused, saying, “I’ll sign anything else but.”
It was an issue of People magazine, if you wanted to know.

What a *****. She’s given interviews with People magazine, but now she’s too good to sign it?
If it was Star, Us Weekly,or any real tabloid, I could see her point. However, it was People magazine. Far from a tabloid, if you ask me.
Real nice of her to treat her fans like garbage.
I find her oh so annoying….. when will her 15 minutes of fame be up? I am sure she reads People Magazine like the rest of us..

She is so cute for words,I always love her smile.
But she’s always in People magazine. Hard to believe she would refuse to sign a magazine that features her just about every week. I don’t think she’s aging well. She used to look pretty during the early years of Alias, but I don’t think she’s very attractive anymore. I think she likes to be famous and part of Affleck’s appeal was that she would be so with him. Who’d be taking her picture, People or anyone else, if she was still married to Scott Foley?

I don’t care what magazine it was, she can sign or not sign as she sees fit. And if it was a picture of her daughter in a magazine she refused to sign, more power to her. I have a lot of respect for that.
She doesn’t look her best in these pictures, but it looks like it might have been a gloomy day when they were taken. I think she’s adorable and when she cleans up for an event she looks gorgeous.
I was a bit jealous when she was dating Michael Vartan because he’s hot, but who says that relationship was meant to last forever. It seemed to be a rebound thing anyway after she and Scott Foley ended their marriage. It was well known that she and Ben became good friends when filming Daredevil together, so when they were both free to start dating, it wasn’t exactly a shocker. They seem like a nice couple. Cute family. Her name is the first on the list of people he thanks in the credits for Gone Baby Gone, btw.

It´s very funny, because when Ben Affleck started to write the script years ago he was with JLo and he wanted JLo to star in Gone Baby Gone.
BTW GBG debuted disastrously at the weekend box office.
No one’s jealous or angry about her relationship. She’s overrated and that’s annoying. Also, she’s full of sh*it and so is Ben Affleck. They desperately want to maintain and gain fame, and part of the schitck is to pretend they are so above it all and I have no respect for that.
They are so full of themselves, I totally agree with Lula. They need the media to really stay relevant, people magazine are the only ones who post her picture with her baby. They are both mediorcre actors and he is not that great a director. His movie bombed at the box office…this time he cannot blame Jlo. His hollywood friends are trying so hard to resucitate his career so many of them gave him a good grade for the movie…the movie is a stinker…nobody wants to see any of his s#it!!!!!!

JLo could easily have pulled off the trashy, low-class mother role in the film. But she wasn’t the one there supporting him while he made the film. It might not have had huge numbers this weekend, but it was a very good film. It was impressive for what is, essentially, the first big film he’s directed. AND it got good reviews - not just from ‘his friends’ (LOL - what?!?!). So we can talk about how much money it made (which is really more related to how well it was promoted) or you could go see it before you judge.
Um, how is she overrated and by who? I don’t see anyone comparing her to Katharine Hepburn. BTW, staying relevant in the media is part of being an actor/actress. They’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t. I don’t see either of these two as media w h*res as much as some more better-known couples in Hollywood.

Garner is overrated because of all the people saying she “beautiful” when her looks are average. She’s overrated as a mother because she’s a rich woman with tons of help and one toddler and the way the magazines and her fans tell it you’d think she invented motherhood. She’s overrated as an actress, because she’s barely that IMO. She sucks in most of what she performs in to the point her being there is forgettable. Critics don’t even comment on her when she’s in film as if she wasn’t even there.

Why is Jennifer Lopez any lower class than Jennifer Garner? Garner has slept around, she’s not the pinnacle of innocence and goodness. Is it because Lopez is Puerto Rican.
I get it Garner is the right Jennifer because she’s the White Jennifer.

Yes , the movie is good, but not great. The book is much better than Ben´s movie. In the book Angie is very interesting ; but in the movie she had no depth and no substance, she was pointless. And Bubba Rogowski? They just ruined him!
Ben has directed a good film, which will not make money. And money is the most important thing in Hollywood. GBG costed 19 mln to make + promotion ( and it was very good promoted, even people who were not in the movie did promote it in their interviews: Damon, Smith and of course Jen Garner). Miramax had hoped to pass $10 million first weekend, but it got just $5,5 mln. Hollywood´ press says that the public has clearly rejected GBG. And you remember what Affleck said : “It’s pretty simple. If people don’t go see it – I’m f*cked.”
Jennifer Garner is fantastic. Why oh why do you guys dislike her and Ben so much. Ben’s movie was the best one this year so far. People only rejected the flick due to pure jealousy, they didn’t see his movie because they are still angry at him. I highly reccomend the movie. I saw it and thought it was fantastic. I hope he continues this phase of his career.
