Well I absolutely adored her in Election and she was fab in Freeway. Also great in her oscar-winning turn as June Carter in Walk the Line, but Gwyneth Paltrow is absolutely right. The girl has talent and should stop doing romantic comedies. But that’s my opinion and I’m sure she doesn’t care ’cause she’s the one laughing herself to the bank!

Rendition is a big flop unfortunately. Didn’t do well critically and isn’t doing well in the box office either. Supposedly it made less than 5 million in the weekend box office. Too bad for Jake and Reese…

i cant believe it only made a little over 4 million….i mean really?! even gigli made more than rendition.

I doubt he’s getting busy with that. He would look better with her ex husband.

I have always enjoied both of their work…I think they are both good actors and I am seeing Rendition on Friday…hope it’s good! Some films tank at the boxoffice in the US, but do quit well here in Europe, so maybe this will be one of them…who knows!

Witherspoon denies romance with Gyllenhaal

Reese Witherspoon has hit out at rumours she has been romancing Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

The pair have been photographed enjoying each other’s company on numerous occasions, but Witherspoon - newly divorced from Ryan Phillippe - insists their relationship is purely platonic.

Witherspoon says, “I have known Jake for years through different friends and he is just wonderful. He’s very kind, generous and funny. It’s been nice these past days to laugh a little bit. Yeah, he’s great and I look forward to maybe making another film with him.”

Yes another Iraq (ish) film enough. How many times can Hollywood do that theme, between that and the Kingdom no thanks Love him but I will pass on that. She is better in comedy but not my fav. her voice is a bit annoying so it’s hard to sit for 2 hrs looking at her. They do not suit each other at all, I would imagine her controlling and too uptight.

It’s amazing how delusional some of you people can be. Some of you keep making assertions as to Jake’s sexuality and dating habits as if you had personal knowledge of him. Or of Reese’s personal opinions as if … etc., From what I’ve read even from you guys: Jake IS single, he’s still SINGLE as in unmarried regardless of who he dates. AND he’s already stated that he’s not gay but is not ANTI-gay because he knows a lot of people in Hollywood who are gay including two of his godfathers. As to saying they’re not dating: Take a look, people! They’re dating! Reese’s divorce just became final early this month and according to their friends, they were taking it slowly. And if you’re going by a Southern girl’s conventions, she may not have felt right going public before it was final. As for their previous partners: the reason they’re not together anymore is because those same ex-partners left them for other people. So if they have found love with each other, I say more power to them! They seem to be really nice people who deserve love in their lives. I wish Jake & Reese the very best luck in the world. Love is a grand thing to have in your life, no matter who you are.
