OlderAndy Baldwin’s Juggling Act
Bachelor hunk Andy Baldwin makes the most of his time left in Hawaii, stretching out and relaxing on a beach in Oahu on Sunday.
The Navy doc proved to be quite the juggler, tossing up coconut shells and rocks he found nearby.
Andy, 30, is being deployed to the Persian Gulf in January but was unable to provide additional details.
“I’m just doing my job,” he tells JustJared.com. “I’m not special. I’m just like thousands of others over there serving our country.”
As for his current relationship with Tessa Horst, how will being deployed to Iraq affect their relationship?
“It remains to be seen,” Andy says. “In the end, true love will prevail.”
Andy completed his fifth Iron Man competition last week. You can read a recap of his experience completing it here. But be warned, it’s like a novel!

#28, What is it going to take for you all to get off Andy’s back. He was on the beach and being followed by photographers. What should he have done, throw rocks at the cameraman and get himself in trouble? Is that what you wanted him to do?
As for photos, it will soon come to an end when he is deployed. And then what will you all have to say about him. You keep forgetting that he is a real person like us, and how would you feel if people were saying nasty things about you day after day?
It is not fair to keep beating up the guy when he is down. Try putting yourself in his shoes and see how it feels! After that experience it wouldn’t hurt you to show a little empathy. Geez

I am so tired of everyone attacking the man. If you have a brother, dad, son or sons, nephews, you would realize that it is unfaor to treat another human being the way many of you of attacked this man. He can’t catch a break for a moment and that is unfair to him.

Why don’t all you haters just go away and leave Andy alone if you aren’t interested in him. The man is about to be deployed to serve his country. Kudos to ALL men and women who serve their country with honor. Give him a break. Yes it does appear that some bad choices were made, but that is for him and Tessa to work out. Some of you really need to look at your own lives and deal with what is up in your own, and leave Andy alone.

I’ve not had time to follow the Andy-Tessa love story since August. Please, Jared, can you get Andy and/or Tessa to set straight the rumors that they are no longer together and/or Tessa is with somebody else? If they don’t want to speak, interview either his sister or Mrs. Baldwin, okay?
With the appearance of a harsh world right now, I want to believe their relationship will continue to evolve and flourish!
With knowing that he is heading to the Persian Gulf after the first of the year, it concerns me that Bush-Cheney will create more disturbance in the region before we can elect a new administration. After the past seven years, the next White House administration and we as citizens have our hands full in creating a new civility not only in our own society but in the Middle East.
We’ve all got to become more conservative with our finances. I can only imagine we’ll find the mortgage dilemma is just the tip of the iceberg from the negative results of the current administration.

Kira, I’m up-to-date with Andy and Tessa’s status. They have not broken up. They are just taking a break. Andy has said they still love each other very much.
I think Andy Baldwin startd out as a genuine person on ‘The Bachelor’ but due to his good looks and all the publicity it got him he changed. He will play with other woman and enjoy his fame but someday he will regret breaking up with Tessa. She was the ONE and it will be too late, she will not wait around for too long. It is hard to make any of these realtionships to work and I think they should date in noraml everyday livs after the final rose ceremony.
On Monday’s ‘Bachelor’ it was nice to see that Brad finally saw through Hillary, the RN and did not give her a rose and she broke down and cried like I have never seen on the Bachelor history. This woman is a psycho and anyone who is around her should be aware of her. I think she is crazy enough to hurt someone as in ‘Fatal Attraction’ seriously. I thinks whoever the new bachelor chooses, they will be very careful to make sure Hllary is not lurking in the background like a stalker. She has it in her ugly self. Very ugly!

I was in downtown Honolulu about 2 1/2 weeks ago, walking around the art galleries. Andy Baldwin happened to be in one gallery, talking to the owners. They said, “I thought you were supposed to get married.” He said, “So did I.” When they asked what happened, he said “she couldn’t adjust to military life”. I’m guessing the “she” is Tessa from the show. Then he went on to say that he needed them to find him a “nice girl”. The owners actually gave him a name and number to a girl named…well, I won’t say the name. But anyway this might prove that Andy might not be with Tessa anymore…at least not engaged anymore.
Also, these pictures are so staged. I’m from Hawai’i and no one carries around those big coconut leaf baskets. Ridiculous.

I was at a party where I met Andy Baldwin. He says he wants to make it work with Tessa. They are trying their best but right now with the deployment coming soon it’s kinda hard to make definitive plans. But they do want to be together.
I really hope Tessa and Andy are still together, they are perfect for each other.

Hey ya all! I have watched several epi’s of Bachelor and have yet to see any of the couples actually go on to actually get married. As far as Andy and Tessa are concerned I hope for the best concerning them but neither am I surprised that it didn’t work out. Being a military wife myself (Hubby retired from the Navy 3 years ago after putting in twenty years.) I can feel for what Andy and Tessa must be going through right now. Six month deployments are never easy even under the best of cercomstances. I’ve seen many a marriage sink to the bottom because neither partner had it in them to weather the storm the Navy calls deployment. My best advice for you both of them is to take that break if they need it. If it was meant to be then it will happen if not then it never was.
Good luck Andy and God speed on your deploymen and above all stay safe my prayers will be with you. By the way if you happen to by chance read this board don’t listen to any of the negitive garbage that’s being said about you. More then likely those that are saying it are just jealous.
Good luck to you Tessa if it dosen’t work out between you and Andy, know that somewhere there is someone out there for you. If it does work out and you decide to go back to Andy remember that being a Navy wife means that you will have to make sacrifices. He will be gone alot for long periods of time and there will always be the rumor mills that will be working overtime while he’s away. If your love is strong you will trust him as he will you. When someone says that they have seen Andy with someone else you can not jump to conclusions but wait until he’s explained himself first.
