OlderBrad & Angelina are Producing Partners
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie maybe be life partners but you can add producing partners to the list now too!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad and Angelina will make their first joint producing effort with a series project at HBO.
The Bourne Ultimatum co-writer Scott Burns is penning the untitled drama, which will explore the behind-the scenes politics of an international aid organization and chronicle the lives of humanitarian workers assigned to dangerous zones and the people in need they assist.
Brad, Angelina and Burns, producer of the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, are executive producing. Angie’s longtime manager, Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski, serves as co-executive producer.
The trade says the series has been a passion project for Ange since she did the 2003 feature Beyond Borders, a drama about disaster-relief workers in war-torn countries.
Hopefully their next project will have them starring alongside each other in a film again!

By the way, I also saw your comment about Brad having the production company to facilitate Angie’s project. You know, I’ve always wondered why if Plan B was set up to help the ex-wife find better roles, how come in all their time together (wasn’t Plan B set up in 2002?) not one project with her in it was ever greenlighted? They did have projects that were made, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Departed, Troy, and A Mighty Heart, but all the projects earmarked for the ex was just in the planning stage, none of them was even remotely ready to film.

This is a misconception about the beginnings of Plan B. Brad DID NOT start the production company to find X movies. He and Brad Grey started the production company because at one point Brad was burned out with acting and wanted to be involved in movies outside of an acting capacity. People keep forgetting that Brad Grey was an equal partner with Brad in Plan B. Finding movie roles for X was an offshoot of the company NOT the main focus. X and the media are the ones who keep saying that Plan B was started to get her movie projects. Brad didn’t object to her looking over the scripts that they were interested in, but it was never Brad’s intent that they only produce movies for themselves. The media has misrepresented Plan B from the outset and of course now people assume it’s gospel when it’s not.
Some one said that they are doing something no one wants to see..that it will bomb.That it will not make money…It don’t think that it is about the money for them..you miss the point…It is about doing something to raise awareness about the world outside of America…People like you will never get it..you are too Busy ..looking at the latest tabloid Mag..Reading about Britney Spears and her troubles…She should never be front news..never..Neither does Paris Hilton Jail time…It is time for people like you to pull your head out of your ass and stop pretending that you have no contribution to make to this world..And stop putting the blame where it truly needs to go..Go travel…Enlighten you minds…look at the way the world looks instead of burying your head in the sand…No man is an island..we can all contribute no matter how small..even in your own backyard…

When it was first announced that RMc was gonna star in the movie, i made a comment on Bradforums “i wonder if her fans/tabs and other folks are gonna say that RMc stole the role from her like they did with regards to AMH.” But so far not a peep.
THis sounds like a great project that Brad and Angelna are involved in. I hope it does not take too long for the series to actually start( ie longer than 2008 ) .

Yes it WAS the tabs that kept harping on how Plan B was to help Jen become a star, and of course Fanistons believed all that. This is also another reason they got their panties in a wad when Angie got AMH..after all that was Jen’s role because it was a Plan B production(and Jen made it sound like she had a shot at playing Marianne..LOL I still laugh at that)
Brad’s movies were bombing so he started a production company. LoL

Thank you. I know you would have the right information for me. As I posted upthread, I used to read tabs and legitimate mags and I always read that Plan B was supposed to help the ex-wife find better movie roles for Brad to produce and her to star in (the aforementioned Time Traveler’s Wife IIRC was continually brought up as an example). I guess it was like the ex’s take on AMH “I’d like to think I could play the role” when she knew very well Brad had said they were not supposed to play any part in it except produce and get financing for it.

Thanks. and it hasn’t open in some countries (like Japan) so it will do more than break -even. Considering all that happen, the subject, the fact that the only star on it is Angelina… I think the film did (is doing) very well.

Um…it’s NEVER been a secret. Ted C has referred to himself as a queen and more derogatory gay names numerous times. He’s never hidden that he’s gay. He even talked about marrying his boyfriend in his column.

I finally rented Snatch because I saw posters talking about it and.. wow, Brad was so great in the movie.

It’s channel 47 on primetime tv. Used to be PAX channel. Starting at 8pm, according to the previews I saw, it will only be about Brad & Angie. The previews said know more about the hottest couple in Hollywood. I can’t wait.
