Brad & Angelina are Producing Partners

Beauty and brains ! The are a rare breed in Hollywood : charismatic, fierce, stunning, intellectual and yet able to remain entertaining in the true Hollywood sense.

Gasp 1, Brad and Angelina are producing a hbo series which will place the spot light squarely on the sorts of wonderful work on the nameless Aid workers all over the world - especially that wonderful aid organisation called Doctors Without Borders.

Gasp 2: Brad and Angelina are not starring in it as the Drs or aid workers themselves and thus will not be in the spotlight themselves. Just the actors and actresses who are there to show the work of the under appreciated aid workers and doctors who risk their lives in war zones to help war victims.

After all the comments about how Brad and Angelina don’t deserve the kudos but the field worker does, I hope the LOSIES show their appreciation for the stories that are told about aid workers on the field by watching the show everytime it airs and buying the DVDs of the series.

Though the LOSIES cannot show their appreciation directly to the real aid workers, I’m sure the aid workers would be thrilled to know that their stories are being told and that their work is being appreciated by a wider audience. It’s like being a lawyer or a doctor and someone does a show about the valuable work that doctors and lawyers do every day in the emergency rooms or wards or clinics every day. Trust me as a lawyer married to a doctor, we appreciate that our good work is recognised, even if it is played out by a group of actors on TV.

And no doubt the profits from this show will benefit these aid organisations.

So, all those LOSIES who have been bitching about how it isn’t Brad and Angelina who should be getting the kudos, here is a chance to REALLY show that you appreciate the true humanitarians, the true workers who labour on the field, BY WATCHING THE SHOW that places REAL AID WORKERS’, THE REAL HEROES’ stories RIGHT in the centre of the SERIES.

And I’m sure there is no need to play up the drama. Drama will exist every day on the field. All Scott Burns will need to do is interview the Aid workers and Doctors without Borders and tell it like it is. The stories will be full of drama and pathos.

1- A Mighty Heart cost $16 million to make. It grossed less than $15 million (domestic and foreign). THAT is a BOMB. especially when you consider that it was a highly anticipated story everyone wanted to see…UNTIL Tramp-elina was named the star!
