OlderBrad & Angelina are Producing Partners
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie maybe be life partners but you can add producing partners to the list now too!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad and Angelina will make their first joint producing effort with a series project at HBO.
The Bourne Ultimatum co-writer Scott Burns is penning the untitled drama, which will explore the behind-the scenes politics of an international aid organization and chronicle the lives of humanitarian workers assigned to dangerous zones and the people in need they assist.
Brad, Angelina and Burns, producer of the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, are executive producing. Angie’s longtime manager, Media Talent Group’s Geyer Kosinski, serves as co-executive producer.
The trade says the series has been a passion project for Ange since she did the 2003 feature Beyond Borders, a drama about disaster-relief workers in war-torn countries.
Hopefully their next project will have them starring alongside each other in a film again!

Of course like everything they do, the movies will flop, who gave them the idea anyway? Can’t they see the writing on the wall, their movies are flopping big time.

This project is a great example of what Angie does after visiting the refugee camps. A lot of people ask questions about the benefits of her visits.

Good point. I have no doubt the refugees she met will remember and appreciate her kindness. I think about the little boy who was tied by the ankle to a pole. Angle held and hugged him, even though he looked untouchable. I wonder how many hugs he gets? I know that meant something to him. When you are desperate and destitute somwetimes just someone caring for you is signficant to you. Then there are the tangiblee things B&A do through their Foundation and projects like this one through HBO.

ION is a network that usually shows old TV shows like Wonder Years, Mama’s Family, etc in primetime. Fortunately for me, I have it. I’ll just have to remember to record whatever they show tonight.
Brad & Angelina are really beautiful in and out. Not like TomKat are ugly in and out and also very shallow.

Jealousy will only make you more ugly and life more miserable. For your own sake, give it up.
I am so disappointed that Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon’s movies did not do any better at the box office. HW, which always looks at the bottom line, will probably cast them in romcoms or lighthearted movies (or in Halle’s case, have her act as Ororo Monroe or Storm in X-Men spinoffs) since the dramas they starred in did not set the box office on fire. But I am so glad that this reaffirms that dramas are really tough sell, and AMH’s so-called “failure” was not Angelina’s fault as Sam and other negative posters have kept on posting.
I am waiting for Sam to post his numbers on a Reese or Halle thread — he should be an equal opportunity poster. What is good (or bad) for Angelina should be good (or bad) for Halle and Reese, a couple of A-listers whose movies just “bombed”.

4Q: But wasn’t Plan B supposedly set up for her so she can get to act in movies which she liked? I am kind of fuzzy about this and can’t find anything detailed about it, just what I could recall from reading some articles a while back. Isn’t it there was talk that she should have been in The Time Traveler’s Wife, the movie that now has Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana?

Personally, I would like to hear Ted C.’s explanation on why Michael Clayton did lackluster business. After all, Ted C. made it sound like promoting the h*ll out of something means instant success at the B.O. GC and Tyler Perry promoted the h*ll out of their respective films; TP came out on top. Halle and Reese promoted the h*ll out their projects, although Halle seemed to have promoted hers more; Reese did better than Halle’s but neither performed extraordinarily well.

Piper - which one? Mike Myers being a diva? I didn’t think that was a secret. Or that he’s a maybe gaybe? That’s not so secret either…is it?
this is not Angelina’s first time producing. She also helped produce a native American Artists Album.
It seems like she does a lot with her manager Guyer too.
I’ve always wondered why if Plan B was set up to help the ex-wife find better roles, how come in all their time together (wasn’t Plan B set up in 2002?) not one project with her in it was ever greenlighted? They did have projects that were made, such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Departed, Troy, and A Mighty Heart, but all the projects earmarked for the ex was just in the planning stage, none of them was even remotely ready to film.
Brad has said more than once that he wanted a production company in which he could tell stories that interested him. Especially ones in which he wouldnt be quite right to star in himself(0r presumably Jen) Although there might be instances when he might feel a character suited him. They did have some projects for Jen but Plan B was NOT primarily to be a company showcasing Brad’s or jen’s acting.

#218 Actually: Thanks for the information. I guess I was mistakenly under the impression that Plan B was more for her to produce and act in better movies (bad of me to read tabs before — so sorry!).
AMH showed on fewer screens that “Rendition” but had a larger per screen gross than Rendition. AMH also had a larger per screen gross than Halle Berry’s movie. Someone posted the BO numbers for the 3 movies on an earlier thread.
I always thought Ted C is gay!!!
