Jennifer Connelly (in Alexander McQueen) channels old school Hollywood at the 2007 Hollywood Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday in Los Angeles, Calif.

This would have worked if her hair was down.
If Jennifer is going to wear her hair up, I think a more sophisticated style would be more flattering. Simply pinning her hair up makes her look years older.
I can’t say I like the dress either. The style is very ordinary and the colour isn’t doing Jennifer any favours.
Jennifer has such a elegant classical beauty, a more understated colour and mature style would be more becoming. To me, this dress is a little “cute” for a formal occasion.
I think she looks great! Makes up for that last dress.
Oh and I like her hair better down as well.

Agree. The hair and the dress dont look right to me. Love the colour, love the dress but not the hair on her with that dress. I think a fringe would have helped.

She looks beautiful. You know a girl needs to try a new look now and then. She has been on the red carpet and attending events since she was like 14. I doubt very much she still spends time pondering over what to wear. Her stylist, manager, whatever, probably presents something to her and she goes yeah that’s fine. A hair stylist and make-up person comes and wants to try something new on her and she’s probably fun enough to try it. She’s in the middle of a film shoot with 2 kids and a husband in tow. She’s doing fine.
The color is great, the dress is flattering, the hair is cute, her arm candy is delicious. She’s done every look and she’s bored. When anyone here looks this good, then please step forward and state your objections. I love her.

I happen to like her hair…I’ve never seen her wear it like that, very old Hollywood. And the dress looks sassy and cute. Plus she is gorgeous so she looks good in anything!
She is harsh looking & unattractive. Her hair looks like sh*t. There! I feel better.
She looks absolutely stunning. I think the red dress looks very flattering on her, though the hairstyle is a little odd.
