Jodie Foster: My Kids Can See My Next Film

Jodie Foster and partner Cydney Bernard go grocery shopping at the Beverly Glen Marketplace with their sons Charles, 9, and Kit, 6, in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Jodie, 44, recently expressed how happy she is to be shooting her upcoming family film, Nim’s Island, costarring 300’s Gerard Butler and Little Miss Sunshine’s Abigail Breslin.

She said, “I was dying to do something lighter and I was excited about a movie my kids could see.”

Jodie also shared about her troubles with gadgets: “I have a problem with electronics. I can’t ever make them work. It drives me crazy. It’s the only time where I lose my temper, is on inanimate metal objects.”

Geesh, to those of you attacking “nasty”. I suspect she was saying “duh, some fan I am… didn’t even know it and it’s kinda one of those things you suspect to hear about!”. I think it’s commendable that Jodie Foster keeps her private life her own and even more that people have “allowed” it. Just goes to show you that sometimes, the celebrities are their own worst enemies when seeking attention.

#18 You are so right. People should be allowed their own opinions, and if that opinion is that being gay is wrong then that should be ok too.

I am tired of having homosexuality shoved down my throat, and if someone dissagrees with with me…Well then that’s your opinion.

Okay, after reading some of the comments I know understand why some people in the gay community are upset that Jodie has not publicly “come out”. I was actually stunned that so many posters did not know that Jodie is gay. I thought that this was public knowledge and that everyone knew.

I guess that I am always stunned that there are so many people that are shocked by things that I just naturally assume is a “well known secret”… just like people who were shocked when Rosie or Ellen came out publicly.

I guess it really is only those in the gay community that are up on these things.

Why should she, or anyone else for that matter, have to “come out”? Is it really our business? I’ve never understood why someones personal life needs to be known about by total strangers.

I”ve always liked Jodie Foster, great actress in my view. Gay or not I’ll still watch her movies and enjoy her acting. Jodie is a good person and keeps her life private. If being gay is an issue to you, then I wonder about “YOU”.

FIRST OF ALL IT IS VERY HARD TO COME OUT AND CONFESS THAT YOU OR SOMEONE IS GAY, THE SENTENCE “GETTING OUT OF THE CLOSET” IS LETTING YOUR SELF KNOW IS OK TO BE GAY AND I PERSONALY I DON’T THINK THAT ADMITING TO THE WHOLE WORLD THAT SOME ONE IS GAY IS OK! IMO, Jodie Foster is and has been the finest actress in Hollywood. I will always enjoy her films, no matter if she is straight or gay. I really don’t care about her personal life…she made it clear many years ago that it was nobody’s business and she refused to participate in the media circus. I choose to respect her privacy. I actually find it refreshing in light of the current crop of starlets and reality stars.

I admire that Jodie doesn’t shine attention on the non-famous members of her family. I’ve seen them a handful of times schlepping around WeHo (and one time was 2 people behind them at a Whole Foods), and yeah they’re usually dressed casual like any other busy moms in suburban America. From what I saw, they are super nice with a no-fuss attitude. And true, Cydney isn’t nearly as hot as Jodie (which she is), but she’s got you and me everyday people looks. Definitely not fugly.

even if we are in year 3000…it is still wrong to be GAY….same sex never exist but it is just some form of sexual addiction….is it right to be coke addict/paedophile/cannibal etc??????go figure you idiots!i am not discriminating any group here but i think some people needs to revisit what’s right and what’s wrong in life…..

NO50 Who the heck are you. You know what GOD teaches us? Love one another. Judge not so ye may not be judged. If you are going to a church that teaches otherwise, they you need to think about going to some other Church.

At the end of the day, there is only one person who can judge all of us, GOD. Do not hate gays. After all you and me are also sinners, gay or not. God Bless us all…Spread the love….
