Zac Efron suits up for the 11th Annual Hollywood Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards honored Hairspray with the “Hollywood Ensemble Acting of the Year Award.” Zac’s costar John Travolta was honored with the “Hollywood Supporting Actor of the Year Award.” And Craig Zadan and Neil Meron received the “Hollywood Producers of the Year Award.”
Congrats to the cast of Hairspray!

OMG I am a big Zac/Zanessa/Vanessa fan but eeeewwwww! He looks absolutely weird in these pictures! Too much makeup, weird hair, ugly suit! The only thing good about him in these pics are his amazing eyes and the Zanessa ring! I’m sorry but he needs to get a haircut. Just curious as to why many people think Zac is wearing makeup…it doesn’t look like it to me. I even asked a friend of mine who is a professional…with make up, not to be confused thit the hookers comment above. LOL The guy is just blessed with eyes most of us girls would kill for.

#33 jj, if he gets his eyebrows “manicured” as you put it, he should fire that person. Conveniently JJ has provided us with a close up to examine. You can clearly tell on the close up that his eyebrows are NOT arched. As far as make up - other than power, which EVERYONE is blotted with for photographic purposes, I don’t see any make up. You can clearly see the tan line around his eyes because of his sunglasses. What is there to pick on now? Do you think is eyes color is off so he must be wearing contacts? Some of the things people come up with go beyond logical to me….

I would’nt say he’s got makeup on and I have my eyebrows shaped and beleive me his aren’t.
Perhaps Vanessa only went to the after party, maybe she does’nt quite feel up to going to things like that just yet what with the press, and to be fair I would’nt just yet either.

But I got to say, you guys that post the negative stuff: we have eyes and we can see if Zac has eye makeup on or not. All the things you so stupidly write only relects upon you, it doesn’t say anything bad about this boy. Plus, you must live a very pathetic life and a lot of time on your hands (probably because you have nobody to share your time with)when all you have to do is make nasty comments about someone you don’t like. Zac needs to smile more in these event photos. I know it’s probably really annoying with the photogs in his face , yelling at him to move to the right, left , look straight ahead, etc. but he looks so much better when he is smiling and his face and eyes just light up. The blank stare, eyes looking far off , does not work for Zac. He looks to posed and almost plastic that way. I like the scruffy look he has going on some days.

Even for Zanessa fans I would think it would be easy for you guys to understand there might be several reasons why Vanessa is not here with him at this function. I would have been surprised if she WOULD HAVE been there. They are individuals and they have separate careers and need to have a personal identity. I don’t usually say Zanessa even though I understand where everyone is coming from but they are Zac and Vanessa. That they have decided to come together is important to me. He sees her as Vanessa the woman he wants in his life and she wants Zac. They didn’t choose to be Zanessa. The fans chose that but they are in this for personal reasons. And this is not opening night of a Broadway play or a premiere of one of Zac’s movies. And given the uncomfortable baggage that goes along with this movie for them I could see why she does not want to be there. Plus, people, they were just out as a true life couple celebrating something special and personal just a couple days ago. Believe me, that is far more significant than this event even though this is important to Zac’s career. Let them have some breathing space so they don’t suffocate each other. Believe me, you don’t want overkill.

It’s probably just me but I’ve just looked at a load of other photo’s from this event and to me this time round their don’t seem to be many picture’s of just Zac and Nikki and even in the group one’s Zac and Nikki are’nt standing togehter as much as in previous ‘Hairspay’ outing’s.

Vanessa has never gotten in Zac’s limelight when it comes to his other projects. I think that’s how it should be. This affair was for the cast of Hairspray, not just Zac. With both of them being “in the business”, they show a lot of respect for each other’s careers. I think that’s great. It’s when one or the other get jealous of the other’s success that things happen. Wasn’t that the reason Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe split? Jealousy has no place in a relationship….it will always tear it apart. So let’s applaud Zac and Vanessa for doing it right……

go sox, i agree completely. thats one of the reasons i dont think v went, probably didnt want to steal the spotlight away from zac. media has been asking her many questions lately, so i think she knows that, and wanted the attention to stay and zac and his cast. either that or she was busy. i dont think it matters though, because ive heard from many others that many celebs didnt bring loved ones. just like john and his wife, and maybe a couple others. i dont think angie went with brad, if she did we would have like tons of pics. plus i think more than 18 people came, hah, not a lot. and you can tell because the news and pics of this event came and went. if it was big they would have been up for a few days. like not just, just jared, but extra and et and stuff like that. theyre onto other topics now on their sites. however, zac is wearing the ring(showing it off a little it looks like :]) and he looks calm. probably tired. he does look like he misses v. like in pics from japan and aussie he had that look, and i think some of it has to do with v. maybe they will spend time together this week. very nice pics of our boy, glad he and his cast won and had a good time

It is nice to see Zac and Vanessa togther but not all the time,there are time’s when their different projects keep them apart but that does’nt mean that they have split.

I agree with the far away look to when he was in Japan and Aussie he definetly looked on some photo’s that he was mile’s away and a bit sad, but since he got back home and with V he looks a lot happier.
But that’s normal for a couple who are in love that they will miss each other when they’re apart andespecially in different countrie’s, and they’re busy in the daytime so again if we don’t see them together every day does’nt mean they are’nt.

Jackie, you are absolutely correct about picture 22. I would be interested to know what someone had the gull to say to him during that picture but I bet it was one reason he left as soon as he was said to have left and probably one reason he didn’t look like he was having such a good time. Plus, I would say whatever was probably said to him that if something like it was said to you or me that we would be putting the jerk in his place very quickly. I don’t care if he is a celebrity, he deserves to be treated with respect. He acts respectively to people he shouldn’t expect anything less. I think the girls except for Nikki look a little uncomfortable in that picture also which makes me think something questionable must have been said to him or about someone, etc.
