Microsoft just beat out Google and will buy 1.6% of Facebook for a whopping $240 million.
That values the social networking site at $15 billion. Yes, billion! This makes 23-year-old Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg one very rich man.
Microsoft will soon be the exclusive advertising platform for Facebook.
Google, you lose.

Bloody hell! Microsoft?! Why them? They’ll probably put viruses & bugs into it so the whole thing breaks down like every other Microsfoft product ever made.
I wish one day someone would create a YouTube or Facebook, be mega successful & popular & then NOT sell it to the highest bidder, that would rule…however, it’s never going to happen…

Gem, Microsoft doesn’t make viruses, the hackers do because more people use windows than mac.

they’re tryna make it appeal to teens more. that is why they put all that silly applications on there. & that is why EVERYONE can be on there now. at one point you had to be a college student to have facebook. myspace is here to stay. it has too many different uses. promoting music, movies, tv shows & all of that. & you dont have use ya real name.
