Yes, as of Tuesday (yesterday’s figures haven’t been posted) her movie is in the top 15 (not good-even if the film is in limited release in both the US (1142 theaters) and in Europe/abroad (and won’t be released in certain countries until next year London in Jan 2008). If a film is in the top 5 or top 10 regardless of limited release it is good. The movie has only taken in over $1.8+ million dollars so far. Not to say that it can’t bounce back. RE: Halle’s “A-S” comment–give it a rest. The posters on this thread and the one from the other day expressed their views. Halle didn’t intend for it to be misconstrued she just repeated what her stylist told her and thought it was funny w/o thinking of the consequences. Halle Berry is not Anti-Semitic just as I am not a hater or racist etc. She just told a joke that wasn’t PC and in her way sincerely apologized. The ADL accepts her apology, give it a rest.

Agree with the last few posters, JJ lately have been looking rather lame. Why haven’t you posted threads possibly more of value like her interesting interview on The Tavis Smiley Show (talking about a lot of topics of value), or questioned why she hasn’t talked more about her diabetes in being pregnant which can be of great value to those women who have the disease and may want to have children at any age or (not hating) why with the death threat letters/bodyguard thing was she seen w/o them during the day in Tribeca a few weeks ago? Just using these examples.

I like Halle berry, and not just because she’s beautiful. I certainly dont know her, so I couldnt say if she is crazy, a reckless driver, or hard to live with. I dont even claim to know all the rumors about her.

But it is clear that she isnt perfect, or some ideal of what we might think a celebrity actress “should” be. And that’s why I like her. She’s not perfect, she’s human, like the rest of us.

After all her ups and downs she’s still here. And appearing in public with grace and class. More power to her.
