I did not mean to compare Gerry to Warren Beatty - only in that Warren stayed single until he was in his mid 50s. Apparently, some think that because Gerry is 38 (almost)and not married, he must be gay. George is still single at 47, so is Mattew McConaughey. Brad Pitt was close to 40 when he married Aniston. No one ever claimed any of those guys were gay. Gerry has had girlfriends and dates now when he has time. He is interested in finding the right girl. Just has no time to do it especially since he doesn’t like the types he meets in Hollywood (the land of bimbos galore?)

We’ll see if his choices of projects are bad. He wants variety in his roles - not just action type films. Of course it depends on which demographic you belong to if his films will appeal - personally Transformers didn’t make it on my list of films to pay money to see this year…neither did most of the wanna be summer block busters this year. All pretty lame.

In the mean time, Gerry’s fan base is still huge and apparently that makes some of you angry and scornful. Too bad for you. He’s a wonderful actor and a gorgeous sexy man. Eat your heart out.

Poster #45 If you think that The Escape from NY remake is the only or even the first movie Gerry will be in, then you need to do some research. Gerry actually has several films in the works. Some finished some still in preproduction. Gy Ritchie’s Rocknrolla will probably give him more Indie cred. In Nim’s Island he plays a dual role and this is a children’s movie (based on a widely popular children’s book). Game has potential but I’m holding out my opinion depending on which way they decide to go. And then of course there is the Untouchables prequel Capone Rising. Oh yeah and lets not forget PS I Love You which will have all woman falling for him. I see this as THE date movie. EfNY is soooo far down the line that when it actually does get finished and released, everyone will already know his name.

Personally I think his movie choices are eclectic, diverse and SMART!
