OlderReese & Jake’s PDA Lovefest
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal takes their romance public–holding hands and canoodling–while sightseeing in Rome over the weekend.
The pair arrived in Rome together via private jet, checked into their hotel and then went for a romantic stroll through Rome with their 5-person security detail (two from the U.S. and three from Italy).
Reese, 31, and Jake, 26, strolled through the Piazza di Spagna, walked up the Spanish Steps and visited the church of Trinita dei Monti.
Later, the couple stopped off at the Piazza Campo de Fiori to admire the Giordano Bruno Statue and lunched together at a small local restaurant. To top off their day together, Gyllenspoon took their PDA to the hill of Monte Mario and the Zodiaco cafe.
On Saturday, Reese and Jake’s entourage expanded with a few locals and one ordained minister acting as a guide. The group dined at Bar della Pace and went sightseeing at the Museum of Rome, the Piazza Pasquino and Piazza Navona. They also took in the Church of San Luigi Dei Francesci, which houses the famous Carvaggio painting.
To finish off their day, Reese and Jake visited the Pantheon (the oldest functioning building in Rome), where they had Italy’s famous Gelato (ice cream).
On Sunday, Reese and Jake attended the premiere of Rendition together at the Rome Film Festival. The pair actually met on the set of their new movie, which recently bombed at the box office.

They agreed to keep the relationship under wraps bcz of the movie, and until her divorce was final. When you go to a film festival, there are LOTS of things going on and lots of celebrites in town. Most of the time,paparrazzis are busy at regular festival locations, especially prime hotels, with whoever is hot drawing most of the paps in like magnets. By Jake &Reese flying in on Friday on a private plane, they were able to stay under the radar and get a little bit of privacy.I think they decided to just be normal. To visit with friends, see a few sights and spend as much quality time together as they could before they had to do the official work of interviews, photocalls and the movie premiere on Sunday.They had Friday and Saturday as down time and probably decided to just go out. It worked. I also think their PR people might have even cut a deal to limit the mess. So what. They look good together. They look very comfortable and relaxed and I love that she has her hand in his pocket and his hand is …welll..up under her arm…(cough!)…I’ve never seen Reese so happy. She was all giggly on Ellen and she was blushing when Ellen mentioned Jake’s name. This is a sweet couple. I am happy for both of them. Delighted. Both of them deserve to be happy and they are both decent respectable people.

Don’t think he’s gay. But with millions of attractive people in LA actors seem to date only 10 people they have known before. Seems if you go the way of G Clooney and date a normal person chances for it working or better. I find it funny that before the film was made both single the papers said she tried to squash rumours of her dating him and low and behold it becomes fact. It’s like the power of suggestion. I just don’t really see them as a COUPLE, they seem so different and she seems controlling and the one in charge. And why do they need 5 bodyguards he’s famous and she is too but I think she can walk past me and I wouldn’t even notice maybe because she seems average looking just like anyone else. Bodyguards just draw more attention to you. WOW look at me I must be somebody of some importance. Now we can move on to more interesting stuff. She cannot be alone is right like the other person said.
This is USA the country where the people kid yourself. This is a best moment to attack USA. Everybody can see that this country is deserted by the authorities. Look at California with their wildfires caused by criminals. Every year there are more criminals in this country. The army and his soldiers are in other part of world to steal them. Russia has been do military exercise with Chine and India every year. Russia occupaded the North Pole. The president of Russia protect Iran and would like USA in Iran because their Oil territory is in the border of this country. What a joke all this films about terrorism! Where are the terrorists and countries whose would attack USA! This film about the same story of kidnapping of a English child in Portugal is a joke too. In Guatemala more them 5,000 children every year are kidnapping and the government of Guatemala and USA take part of this criminal activities. The american turist wait in luxury hotels over there and steal the children. In Germany and lot of countries the law forbid to adopt a child of Guatemala. Hollywood is far away of reality!!! Jake Gyllenhaal confuse Meryl Streep ( he said that Meryl Streep is a “*****” by interview with Jon Stewart) with people of his family and with every prostitute he can go to bed. It is a absurd!

There are sooo many people jealous of Jake and Reese on this site hence all the hate. Get over it. Their lives dont affect yours so who cares what they do. Then again everyone can have an opinion no matter how hateful or full of crap it is. My opinion is that they finally said “who gives a @#@@” Lets give everyone what they want. And dont lie everyone, you all wanted to see evidence of them together. Now you have it and you dont like it (except for a few exceptions). Question-does anyone really have hard evidence that Jake is gay? or did this just start because of that film? I cant remember any rumours when he was with Kirsten Dunst. It does look like he has a penchant for blond girl next door types.

Hey–I thought Reese was Catholic !!! Catholics do not go on a trip and sleep with someone until marriage. And I cannot believe she left her kids and went so far away from them.
And what was wrong with her ex??? He seems like a great guy—-why can’t people in Hollywood stay married?
I love these two actors BUT i hate to say it….Seems like a publicity stunt, the more the public shows interest in their romance, the better the chances that people will want to go check out their new Movie. It debuted as a flop…And yes, i know there were rumors swirling long before the flop BUT i do not see them being a real couple although they do look very nice together….Just wish it was genuine coz they are cute together….Anyway, just my two cents!
