OlderAndre Birleanu Arrested!
Andre Birleanu, the male model from VH1’s America’s Most Smartest Model, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual misconduct and aggravated harassment, according to The Post.
His accuser claims “He grabbed me inappropriately. … He touched my genitalia, and I immediately moved away. Then I looked over, and he looked really upset… I went up to him. And he was standing there with his head down. He said something along the lines of ‘no.’ He then grabbed my boob.”
Andre, 25, has served a half-dozen prison stints since 2000 on charges including assault, harassment, criminal contempt, criminal mischief and trespassing, law-enforcement sources. Siiiiiiiiiick!
And as of yesterday, “he was free on $3,500 bail for yet another bizarre incident involving a woman. On Oct. 17, Birleanu was charged with stalking, aggravated harassment and attempted assault on a model friend.” That woman said Andre “pulled my hair once. He stopped. I crossed the street … I started running, and he screamed at me, ‘I’m going to break your f-ing legs.’”
Andre’s case? “I didn’t molest anyone,” he said. “I already slept with that girl, so it’s strange she would say I touched her inappropriately.”

Andre is the coolest guy, I used to know him personally and he really never had a problem with him, he’s a nice guy and just sayin, hes pretty damn good lookin too. I would hope that you arent only saying hes a bad person because he is Russian and speaks with a slight accent.

Well first of all..Andre is a complete pathological liar..He is isnt 24 yrs old he is 29..and he is from Romania (born and raised) not from Russia as he claims and Andre isnt even his real name, its a name he gave himself when he came to America from Romania. He doesnt speak 5 languages either. He has been modeling for almost 10 yrs and hasnt done crap..Little things here and there. He is only max height about 5′10″ and his head gives him most of that height. He does however get mistaken for a lot of different famous models who he resembles, thats how he gets himself around. Most inportantly it is very very very true that he served time in prison for beating his girlfriend. He also has many restraining orders against him from many other girls whom he has assaulted, threatened, stalked and harrassed. Andre’s nationality is Romanian 100%…I know him from NYC during my studies in NY…Anyway, the only thing I’ve been appreciate it about him was that he never was ashamed with his nationality, always saying that he’s Romanian and that Romanians are the best, far away from being Russian…kind of disappointing from my point of view..I am Romanian also and I’ll never pretend that I’m something else…Sorry Andre, good luck to you!

He says Soviet because there’s a difference between Russian pride and Soviet pride. Some Russians view Russia as a federation as a weaker force in the world, and that its strength lied in its Soviet era. So Russians born during the Soviet times sometimes cling to that title instead, because they were born and raised as Soviets. Also, because he isn’t 100% Russian (his name is actually Romanian). Another distinction needs to be made that Russia as a country didn’t exist then, it was called the Soviet Union (calling it Russia was about as improper and also as common as calling the United States of America—just America). Because of this, he identifies himself as -Soviet- specifically by nationality, the pride of his country. He uses Russian when referring to ‘ethnic superiority’, rather than national superiority. I was born in the Soviet Union, so I am Soviet by birth but Russian by blood. I understand that distinction. Although I don’t condone his actions and I do believe he needs to shape up, I won’t make fun of his distinction and hope I’ve done something to convey that feeling of ethnic pride versus national pride. Thanks.
I’m also adding that I don’t give much of a damn about his history, that’s only going on what he’s saying. Assuming he’s 100% Romanian like other people are saying. But I would like to inquire as to why someone isn’t fixing it. He only has one birth certificate.

I think this is all way blown out of proportion,people don’t understand what it is like to be famous…There are always people out there to exploit get there name in the paper,and if shes a jilted ex she is most likely out for revenge,emotions can run high in these situations…They had some sort of relationship and now there is not…i have seen this a lot of times,its just petty…And i know alot of you think hes a beast,but he is a human,and it is hard for Americans to understand Europeans…I m not Russian but am I proud Deutsch aka German,people think that the ruff exterior means no heart,but that is not it at all,you have to be that way to survive….Anyway I am sure i will get a lot of hate comments on this,but oh well so be it!

I think that he is very impressive and very hard working. Very odd how he is trying so hard and this garbage is happening to him. Very rediculous. NYC is blessed to have someone that is like him. He is very misunderstood. I see a very determined and driven person. I admire that in a person. Not a quitter! I admire that! I am not a quitter either! I love to see someone with that attitude!
